Unoa is really cute on the DS boy body. The girls are more normal size for slim minis. I only have girls-- off with their heads! Edit: Here is Sist with Buff headback on Doll Leaves small bust girl body (WS) next to Lusis on Unoa 1.5 small bust body. The Doll Leaves body has Minifee hands. Hands are the only thing I don't like on the Doll Leaves body, but there are plenty of other options for hands. I'm not sure about resin match since my Sist face is yellowed a bit (from 2006) and I think the headback is supposed to match the newer "Unoa fresh skin", but the body is a pale white. Poor little Franken-dolly didn't even get any eyes, because I was trying to at least take some of the photos before it got dark. Thanks so much Evelien and Iwasteela I've already bought a brand new faceplate from Noppin, it's supposed to be in normal skin that is quite yellow, but I was going to order a Doll Leaves girl body in normal pink. Iwasteela, do you have a Doll Leaves NS to see the difference next to Unoa faceplate? Poor Sist, why don't you "finish" her? She would be lovely! Otherwise I was considering the new Dollzone body in NS, even if its hips are a bit larger and I'm afraid my daughter doens't like it very much. I personally find this body really cute
No problem! Can't wait to see your hybrid! My Carly, who's on a Minifee body right now, may undergo some changes soon. I'm going to try and create the ultimate hybrid: the MNF arms, hands and feet on a different body with a prettier torso. I hope it all works out, I find it quite exciting. The problem for me is that no company has the perfect BJD body... so I'll combine bits and pieces and create my dream doll myself! I can't wait! I hope it all fits... I'll keep you posted ^^
Wow, an hybrid... hybrid! This sounds really interesting. You're right, I often look at bjd bodies and I find something I don't like in anyone, some have cute torso but awful hands, some nice legs but ugly torso and so on. This hybrid is supposed to be the cheapest I can, since my daughter is only 6 years old and she loves my Unoa (in fact she wants a Lusis like mine) But I want her to be pleased with her, and trying to do my best!
Yes, I think that for a 6-years-old girl an Unoa is such a dream! The funny part is that she thinks Santa Claus is paying for the doll, ahahah! Please, Santa, buy a bjd for me too
Doll Leaves is definitely a less expensive option, and I think it is really nice for posability and looks. Unfortunately I only have white Doll Leaves, white and yellow Dollzone/Doll Chateau. I think all the various Unoa parts I have are from before they changed over to the current "fresh skin" color. Do you know if your new face is fresh skin or the old normal color? I do plan to finish my Sist, and she will probably take back her Unoa body. If they can't share, I guess I'll have to find a body for Lusis and I'll end up with a hybrid after all.
The faceplate they sell on Noppin are the old normal color, I'm quite sure. i bought a Chibi faceplate few months ago and it really looks like the old resin, but I don't have any fresh skin faceplate to compare to. Can't wait to see your Sist! Are you planning to hybrid the Lusis or the Sist?
Yay, I finally got a body for my Markus, L-bi boy The body is a Luts old boy body and the match is perfect ^^! Proportions are good and the color matches really well (though the body is second hand so I guess it has some yellowing). He's quite short though, only 42cm, but that's just cute :3 I'll post pictures soon ^^
I'd love to join in if that's ok! I just bought an Unoa Sist face plate for a Minifee body I have. She began the journey to me today. I am really hoping that the match will be great. I'd like to have another in the future if I like this one, an Unoa Lusis with a larger hipped body. I want a curvy girl! Oh is there any specific eye size that looks better for sist? I've been told 12, 14, and 16 so I wasn't sure what's best. I only have 16mm eyes so I need to get some for her.

Oh, I forgot to say congrats! ^^ I adore my Unoa/MNF hybrid. I'm gonna try something new soon though, I have a Withdoll body on its way and I'm gonna try to combine the Withdoll torso/legs with the MNF arms, hands and feet . If it all fits she'd be my ultimate hybrid..!
Sorry it took a while but here's a picture of my Markus, Unoa L-bi with Luts old type boy body ^^ The body is quite old and yellowed but so is the head... The match I think is quite nice. And I think Markus looks cute since with this body he's quit short, 42cm Evelien: I can't wait to see your Withdoll hybrid! What skin color did you buy? I've been thinking about buying a withdoll boy body for my B-el but I can't figure the right skin color :/
Handsome boy!! I love his wig! I bought a NS Withdoll body and my Fairyland body and Unoa faceplate are also NS. The match should be okay, I'm gonna blush if necessary. The Withdoll body is on its way to me, I hope it'll be here by Thursday!
Evelien, I was looking at the Withdoll body too. Is it doublejointed at knees? I'm looking forward to see your ultimate hybrid! Does anyone has a Loongsoul / Unoa hybrid? I think the body is really cute, and they have really small bust like Unoa's. But I'm afraid about the resin match, from picture it seems that the yellow skin should work better than the pink skin. Anyone..?
The Withdoll body has beautiful slender legs, but the knees are not double-jointed. The arms are though. If you choose Withdoll for your hybrid, the neck needs to be modded. A while ago I posted this picture: DoA picture request by Ev's Dolls ♫, on Flickr It's a beautiful beautiful body though. I had a brown tan Priscilla but she was adopted a while ago. I miss the beautiful torso of that body terribly though and I want my Carly (Unoa Sist hybrid) to have it. A second hand NS body is on its way to me as we speak, I expect to have it in 2 days. I hope the resin match will be okay. A friend of mine has a Unoa/Loongsoul hybrid but it's white skin. I think a link was posted somewhere in this thread a while ago.
