Well, the fit on the neck is perfect and head movement is very very good. But... I feel like the neck is too long as it is now. Don't you agree?
I have a doll friend at a 10 minute bike ride away who's famous for doing awesome doll mods, so I don't think I'm gonna try shortening it myself

Well, I must say I have problems with neck, I mean: they ALL seem too big to me, I don't know why, on every doll

 

I think I'd want the Withdoll neck to be about 5 cm shorter than it is now. When I have the body in hand I'll have my friend the modder look at it ^^

It doesn't seem that long to me...

 

It does to me, but perhaps it's a personal preference. When I still had the tan body, I tried moving the Unoa faceplate up and down along the neck and I liked its look best at 5 cm lower than it is now. But that's why I'll have my friend decide with me, to make sure I get het look right and natural

You mean the doll itself should be 5cm shorter? (The neck itself is like 2-3cm high from shoulders to top) I'm confused. :'D

Edit: I mean even SD sized dolls don't usually have that long necks AND if you want 5 cm off of it...

Yeah, well.. without going too O/T: since there are already way too many cats in the world it wasn't exactly planned, but we decided to just make the best of it now and have her spayed right after the kittens are gone.

I'm still ashamed for confusing both 5 cm and 50 mm for 5 mm XD. I'm European for crying out loud. I've been working with the metric system all my life XD

I think I'll buy the Withdoll boy body for my boy even though it seems a bit too pink. But that should be easy to blush to match?

It IS pinker and lighter, I'm colourblind and even I see it so that means it's bad . I will blush the torso and legs soon but first I'm working on shortening the neck. I've shortened it about 4mm so far. I've also found out that the rounder the neck, the better the head mobility and posability. Which is a huge plus!!

How did you short the neck? Actually it looked too long in the previous pictures, now it's much better!

 

I sanded it . I agree that it already looks much better, but I want to make it a bit shorter.
