1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Unusual Doll Sizes

Jun 25, 2013

    1. Cherishdoll Faith is 21 cm tall! Also Lumedoll has a whole bunch of cool 28-30 cm dolls I've been fawning over.

    2. The newest DollZone boy body is fairly tall for a MSD at 46cm-ish, and I think the AOD boy is around 46 or 47cm.

I personally find it weird when people have MSDs as a teens in a 1/3-scale world... they don't even reach the shoulders of most SDs! Teens aren't that short. I'm tiny and I'd be 50-51cm in 1/3 scale (and 38cm in 1/4 scale).

I think some of the Circus Kane dolls are in-between sizes, too. I think they have a 35cm? I don't often see dolls between 30 and 40cm, come to think of it. The short leg/long armed DC tinies are 23.8cm, so short YoSD, but I rarely see any Yos taller than 30cm.

    3. Dollmore and Iplehouse both have dolls in the 35cm range and I believe Fantasy Doll does as well. ^^

BBB Eliot is around 50cm and I believe you can still get that body by special order.

If I'm not mistaken, Unoa had some 50cm boys available for a limited time last year. I think they were called "brother" dolls. Zest was one, and I forget the name of the other. I really liked the look of those and would've liked to own one.

    4. Has anyone mentioned the Soom dolls I have a couple one is the Rosette Violet she is about 47cms and is quite unlike regular msd sizes she is very slim and has a large bust her feet are long and slim regular clothes are far too wide and shoes are a nightmare, Soom ones are so expensive too.

    5. Island Doll and Iplehouse make 65cm dolls. I own two of IslandDoll's. I've nicknamed them Mr. and Mrs. 65cm-McOddsize because NOTHING. FITS. THEM. EVER. I have to make their clothes. XD

    6. 65cm isn't an odd size (: ever since Volks came out with SD17, many companies offer dolls in that size or similar!

    7. Luts Junior Delfs are 56cm and fit pretty well into SD10 girl clothes :XD: SD13 is a bit big.

    8. My DC Ada is 16cm tall!

    9. When we are at it, I dont know where I could find a very small doll (about 15 cm or so) looking like an adult? I would like to have a kind of little fairy, and all the dolls I see are either small and childish, or so expensive that I wouldnt dare to spend so much money on them... Do you have any ideas ?

    10. Dust of Dolls have mature tinies in the size you're looking for (and they're quite adorable too!!!) >w<

    11. Oh thanks ... 1ndeed, they are pretty... but they are all sold out, and the models that I saw are 27 cm, so it still too big... some ideas ? :D

    12. A.I.R.'s Darjeeling is 49cm tall if I remember correctly
she's a really short SD (and so adorable!!)

    13. If you can find a Doll Chateau Ada body with the human hips instead of the four legs, you could easily make it into a perfect fairy. Ada is a tiny, tiny doll, and while her head default isn't very human, you could always modify it or try and find another head that fits better for your idea. And she is scaled tiny, she isn't just chibifieid chubby childish. Only issues is you'd have to look on the second hand market but it's an idea. ^^ And at least in my experiments with my Ada, she poses wonderful.

    14. Iplehouse makes their KIDs which are in the 35 to 40cm range, I believe.

Dollmore has their 50cm Zaolls. They're basically SD-sized torso with very short legs. They don't pose very well, but are beautifully sculpted. There is also now a Zaoll boy, named Theo, I think? I'd imagine he's also in that 50cm range.

And if you want REALLY odd sizes, Dollmore also has their amazing Trinity doll, which is 105cm, which equals just over 3 1/2 feet in height. :)

    15. Thank you Lita ! I will have a look on ebay, to find her, she looks very nice to me ... Or maybe I will find an equivalent at the Ldoll in Lyon on october...? :)
