This exactly. I don't sell very often, because I usually bond with my dolls and feel bad having to rehome them. It's also a pain to go through the selling process when you've handled and played with the doll you're adopting out as some collectors are quite picky with the condition of their dolls. I've only rehomed one of my BJDs, and it was because she didn't fit in aesthetic-wise.
A weird one that happened to me few weeks ago. i got a new doll, for some reason, my brain decided (whispered?) she will be my new ‘favourite’ instead of Lilya (my RS Dai). I tried playing along with it but the next day, I decided nope, I just couldn’t betray my Lilya, and how dare she even try to replace her so yeah she’s with her new owner now. She was a xagadoll elsie.
