Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Very mature/masculine male doll - anyone know what I'm talking about?

    1. Hi all,

      First off, apologies if this is in the wrong place, it's been a long time since I posted on DOA and things have changed a lot since then.

      Basically, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what I'm thinking of here. A while back (probably a couple of years), someone sent me a link to a new design of male dolls with a very mature look. The faces especially were very distinctive, with a very strong, masculine look, almost 'ugly'. My recollection is that it was a newer company, not Dollshe or Iplehouse.

      (If it helps at all, I've started looking for this boy now because my recollection is that he might make a good Vane from Black Sails...)

      Anyone have any idea what I might be looking for? Thanks in advance!

    6. Les Enfants Terribles has their Ryan and Don head sculpts, which look older as well as very masculine. I particularly like Ryan. :)

    10. Never seen a Granado boy that I could possibly be described as 'almost ugly'... :DBut I suppose personal taste plays a role.

      Maybe the demiurge dolls? Their latest offering is young and pretty Lel (but still really realistic looking for a BJD), but some of their previous dolls in the street Racers collection have very unusual faces. All sold out sadly but I have seen them for sale on the marketplace here.
