Do you think you'd be able to perform that special ceremony (I forgot the name ops: ) that you can at the Japanese stores? That would be really nice.
Wow. Kind of torn here I am pretty sure that I won't have the money to go buying a doll on opening day, so that's out. I'm not worried about that, though, as I just took care of Sai, so it's not like I don't have doll goodness to look forward to! Plus, I kind of promised myself that it would be something I would try to do when I go to Japan in 2007 (*crossing fingers and toes*) for WorldCon. I wanted to go through the whole nine yards of going to Tenshi no Sato and picking everything out myself. (I'm a sentimentality nut, what can I say!) But if all the same things are available at the new store as they are in Japan (including the doll ceremony), it would be very tempting not to wait. *LOL* We shall have to see. I've realized that I keep thinking strictly in terms of the SD13 and similiar sizes, and I keep forgetting I can get smaller!
You mean the Omukae (spelling?) ceremony? I'm not sure, but that might be a Tenshi no Sato thing only. It would be wonderful if they offered it in LA though! :grin: Just reading Aimee's article about it in Haute Doll made me want to cry. It was just so darn sweet!
Aww that kinda sucks, I'm coming out to LA for a week in August I wish I would've know earlier I would've tried to schedule my vacation around that time. Oh well, I'll just have to come back out there next year(used up all of my vacation time this year )
Well getting FCS in the states was a long shot and that came through, so why not exclusives? Sato is the main/biggest Japanese location right? The Sumika in LA is the ONLY US location, so to me it would make sense to have a few exclusives in our FCS list. But for now, I'll just keep hoping. lol
So like; when you say FCS do you mean that they will have the MSD FCS as well? and like.. Are the F11-F13 Sato? (aka the ones that you can get the nifty optional ears)
I would assume they'll also have the MSD FCS which definitely isn't a Sato-only thing or anything of that sort Hopefully we'll all know for sure soon! And no, the F-11-F-13 are not Sato only.
Wowie! I've decided that i'm definately going to get an FCS one day for Azrael's boyfriend. F-16. Snow skin. .... ceremony included. But I won't be able to go for a while. We all want TONS of pictures for you all going to the opening!
There is only one Tenshi no Sato. Going there is a special experience, and along with that is comes the rare oppertunity to order special heads and other features via fcs. You even get a special box. These things are not available anywhere else in Japan, or in the tenshi no sumika location in Korea. I would hope for more things to be added to all sumika locations and be thankful to have any fcs coming to the US ^^;

I don't believe any of the ears are Sato-only; that'd be sort of silly XD; "Only Sato dolls get kitty ears!" You can find out more MSD FCS info on Shan's extremely helpful MSD FCS page if you have any more questions

Is that pretty FCS milk-toned beauty white tone also a Sato-exclusive? I can't remember...though I sometimes call it "Sato Snow" so it'd probably be good for me to find out, lol.
oh yeah I forgot about that. yes, the sitting body is sato exclusive. (it's listed on the fcs page as exclusive)
