1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Volks Co-ordination Models

Apr 18, 2022

    1. I’m looking at potentially buying a second-hand MSD and I’d like to get more pictures of the models, which appear to be co-ordination models from 2021? I really love the red dresses.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? An archive or something? Google is useless!

    2. I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by "co-ordination models"

If you could explain in more detail what it is you're looking for, you'll have a better chance of getting some answers that may help.

Are you, perhaps, looking for the sculpt names of the dolls that wore the red dresses you mentioned? If so, where did you see the pictures of those dolls?

    3. Possibly flickr? A lot of the time when I'm looking for specific doll photos someone will be like "look them up on flickr!" for some reason most of the images there don't show up on google..it's weird, but it works.

    4. I think co-ordination models are a type of doll Volks release regularly which includes the doll with eyes and wig and clothes. These are SDM size and I don’t have a sculpt name for the above, but another one of them is F-20. I don’t have any other names/words to search by because that’s all I’ve got from the sales listing. I remember seeing a post on Instagram a while back when they were released but I can’t find it now.

    5. If you ask the seller to photograph the metal plate at the back of the head, it'll have more information like the sculpt and year the doll is from! As a last resort you can look at previous coordinate model events on Volks' website and see if you can find this girl! Since the doll is from last year, you can also scroll down on Volks' instagram as they likely posted about this model as well

    6. The plate on this one won't have much info since I believe all coordinate models have "CN MODEL" plates or something similar. The mold number should be inside the head though. They're just dolls that can be bought on sight at a store or event. No wait required. They have matching outfits and come with a wig, faceup, and eyes. There are so many coordinate models and they're all so cute! It shouldn't be too terribly hard to find the perfect one for you :)

    7. Looks like SDM Noa! Like dunceclown said your best bet to find specific photos of this coordinate model would be the Volks Instagram or maybe Volks News. However, if you just want photos of the sculpt, you can search for SDM Noa: Login • Instagram

    8. Seconding that this particular coordinate model looks like Noa/FCS 70. The red dress I believe is the one they had dolls in this past winter but missing a few parts - see here on Instagram

    9. OK, that sounds like uyou're looking for the 2021 "full set" doll release sculpts. The term full set might help your search. Also looking through the pictures of the face sculpts at the Volks Full Choice System websites. It won't get you the full sets with eyes, wigs and clothes but it would show you the variety of face sculpts they do and you might sot the one(s) you're interested in.

    10. Thanks everyone! Yes, I think this is a Noa! I’ll have a look at her on Volks’s site and Instagram!

    11. The coordinate models are different from other Volks full set releases - think of them as a subtype of a full set release. Coordinate model is the correct term.

    12. Thanks - I'd never heard of it before.

    13. FYI, coordinate models frequently show up in second hand places like Mandarake and Dollyteria...
