Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     5. I agree with this thought. I'm so accustomed to Volks bodies being less defined yet still well sculpted like Michaelangelo's David. In addition to the additional joints of newer SDGr bodies, this direction in their sculpting makes me think more of Dollsoom or Iplehouse. I'm unsure about how I feel about this, but I think this look caters to collectors who are interested in more mature looks and body types. Gratefully, recently releases like Victorique show that Volks hasn't forgotten their fans who still like the cute and classic look of Volks.

      I'm both intrigued and apprehensive about how my collection will change with the addition of more built body types ...possibly leading to more mature character dolls.

      Oooh, I just noticed how much I love the V-cut between his hips!

    7. Hmm I speculated that because it probably won't be sd13/gr size, and I was thinking that maybe Volks wanted to keep sd17 their 'prime' body at 67.5cm!:) But looking at the bigger photo now, I'm thinking along of the lines of a beefy 65cm too. Hm...

    9. I'm thinking 70cm, but I don't like it. It's too close to Soom ID/MG and the Iplehouse guys. D: Not my thing. I'm glad though. That means I'm perfectly safe. ^^

    10. Goodness sake, I didn't expect such a bod from Volks! I actually want a Volks doll for their slender and elegant body sculpts so I'm not sure what to think. He has much sexy potential depending on what his head sculpt looks like.

      On another note, I'm hoping for a SDgr/SD17 boy or a BTSSB x Volks girl. I just came back from a convention where I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Okita Souji and Mr. Williams... Hgn, WANT!

    12. I'm pretty sure it's "gou" as in "strength". Without seeing it written in kanji it's hard to tell.

      I'd like 70cm but I don't think they'll go that big. I suspect around 65cm.

    14. Oh the new body is wonderful! I always liked the SD16 body, so I am excited for this new release!

    15. I'm crazy to hope for 70cm with this body, but...it would be wonderful. :D No matter what size he winds up being, he looks amazing. Way to go, Volks.

    16. I wouldn't go so far to call it ugly, but I personally prefer skinnier doll bodies, too. It's a question of taste. I don't like any of these grown up, muscular dolls that have been released by Iplehouse or Soom and it's the same here.

    17. Even if I do not end up getting this boy or he turns out not to be to my taste, I still love the fact that Volks is being innovative and coming out with new and different dolls. It is part of what I have always liked about them <3

    19. I can't wait to see his head! I wouldn't be surprised if it is another Yukinojo. And Joe is one of my favorite dolls of all time! Who ever it is i'm sure it will be super sexy!

      I'm sure the decision to release thus body is inspired at least in part by the likes of EID and IDealian. Volks is definitely aware of the competition and what their doing, so there's no suprise that with the popularlity of those body types they'd come out with something like this.

    20. I saw that photo a few days ago. I think it's probably 65-70cm? The hand looks gigantic. Is it a new character from the series?&#12288;&#65327;&#65343;&#65327;&#12288;&#12288;Otherwise it has to be Yukinojo. Does this mean SD17 body will be in FCS after this? People will go crazy with the FCS when that happens I think lol.
