Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Forgive the typos as i am on a crazy psvita.

      The SDGoubody was in the Harajuku Volks store on Christmas Eve and i just missed seeing it up close but some of the Volks employees were still looking at him and I got an eyefull through the window . The new body looks like a mix of the Sd17, sdgr, and the old sd16. taller than the sd17, peanut elbows like the sdgr and muscular like sd16. oh and the one i saw i believe was a WS Yukinojo. in other words gorgeous. gotta run and catch my train to koyasan!

    6. Just getting back on for a moment as I am in Osaka near an Apple store and yay free Wifi!

      I'm pretty sure I saw the SDGou body but without going into the store I won't say 100%. But I did speak to an English speaking Volks employee who said that from the Volks news one speculation was a yukonojo release but she didn't know for certain as Volks likes to keep it to themselves until the release. She was the one who told me that the new body was taller and more rounder. And when I looked in the window the first thing I saw was that peanut elbow. I thought it was an sdgr boy but then I took a double take because this guy was so much thicker. I think someone already said it but, I really think Volks revisited that sd16 body. The Volks employee also said that we probably won't know any more until they release it.

      I also have to wonder about this idea of monitoring? Did anyone really get this body and play with it? That seems out of character for Volks. I think the monitoring meant people could see him at the store. I can't see Volks allowing anyone to get their hands on this body and run the risk of it being copied and pirated.

      But from my 30 second view he looked good and he was wearing a pair of th Volks boxer briefs so I think he will be bigger than the sd17 but maybe they can share some clothing? And it looks like the old heads will fit him. He is no wear near an Eid or Sid body from iplehouse but really a taller beefier sd17 with some new jointing aka the elbow that can hold his arm up.

      Gotta run and catch a train to Kyoto!

    7. I can't wait to see photos of this body. From the looks of it, it seems more similar to Crobidoll's B-Line body... Not as beefy as SID/EID/ID/Feeple65... but closer to SD17? :D I might be able to handle that!

I've got him pre-ordered and can't wait to get my Joe at last!:aheartbea I liked the 1st Yukinojo alot, but this one...yowza! the sculpt on this new Gou body looks so beautiful to me...like something Michaelangelo might've created. If he'd been made in the new Shadow skintone as Shiro, that would've been the absolute extra foam atop my cup of Joe! :lol: As it is, I still feel he's perfection, and was a must have for me!
