  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       I can't be absolutely certain, but I'm guessing he'll wear a DD size, basically an 8-9. This is what I'm hoping anyway, because that's DD's the size I ordered from Volks. ;)

    9. I am not sure if SDGou Joe's head will be the exact same size as the SD16 Joe's head. If they made changes to the sculpt it may be a little different. I don't recall his head being large but it has an odd head shape, more of a long egg front to back. (Charlotte's head is a little like that too) So a tight wig may be a challenge to force over it.

    10. My old SD16 Yukinojo wears mad huge wigs. 9-10s are comfy on him. His favored wig is an old KStarr size 9 with a super-stretchy cap. He can squeeze into a standard 8-9 wig if you don't mind stretching it out completely so none of the other dolls can share it, and secure it on him using a combination of brute force & Velcro. Don't know if Nouveau Joe has lost that huge occipital bulge at the back of his skull; that'd sure make wigshopping easier on him.

    14. I guess I don't think of his head being large becasue I have his default wig on a doll with a medium head and it fits him fine. But maybe it's like my Tony wig where I have to force it onto my Tony with brute strength and swearing. If I kept it on a Yukinojo maybe it's have streched out to fit him better over time. That oblong shape is very particualr though. I am assuming that Volks had to make changes to the Joe sculpt to get his neck down to fit the new body, the old SD16 has a huge neck hole I had to mod mine quite a bit to fit my SD13 Tony head to it. The Gou body seems to accomodate other SD13 boy head much more easily.

      CMBato - if it's a wig meant only to fit your incoming Joe it might be best to wait 'til he's in hand to get it made. >__< I had a custom wig made for another doll and I sent a masking tape casting of my dolls head (plasitc wrap over the dolls head, covered in masking tape, hairline drawn on it) and shipped it to maker to assure it was the right hairline. Depends on the wig style.

    15. I think volks bit off too much with the preorders. They are still making sabers, and are super busy trying to finish all of them. I think they should have waited till all the sabers where done before they did the preorder for Yukinojo.

    16. I don't know if it's the same production team that makes the DDs? I would think they would use a different team between the DDs and their resin dolls? I know companies like Soom and Souldoll have different groups and factories to make and finish different lines. Maybe that is also true for Volks. :?

      I think they did get waaaaaay more Yukinojo orders than than expected which on one hand is good becasue success means perhaps they will do more preorders this way and on the other bad for us waiting!

    17. Ah well...after the many years I've been longing to have Yukinojo in my collection, I'm happy to wait a bit longer. I'd rather Volks take the time they need to make these guys great and gorgeous than have any rushed through production. ;) How does the old saying go..."patience is it's own reward"? Or the one I like better yet..."patience is a virtue and our reward is in Heaven"! If you're like me and feel that Tenshi No Sato may be a slice of Heaven on Earth that is...LOL! :lol:

    19. I think sdgou yukinojo head may have slight changes cos his head sculpt is numbered 100 and shiro was numbered 99. Knowing how volks keep their sculpts numbers if the head mould is the same, Sdgou head should be a new mould to fit the sdgou body.
