Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       My Midi Reisner arrived a few days before Christmas! He's gorgeous, but I haven't had much opportunity to take photos of him. Took a quick shot tonight, but I hope to have some time to spend with him next week after all this Holiday hoopla slows down!

      Okay, so I have a possibly dumb question...
      I noticed Volks mentioned that if you order Komame's Lil Custom Lessons Vol. 5, you can preorder optional SDMidi hands. Does that mean that the order form is inside the book or something? I've never ordered any of the Custom Lessons books so I'm not sure how it works. Is anyone planning on ordering the optional hands or know what they look like? I may end up ordering the book either way because it looks like it's got some great stuff in it. :)

    9. i got the book, the japanese form is in there i believe, but they should email you how to get them.. and you only have until january 31st to order! x_x I've been wanting to order them, but with having to pay tax and shipping, they added up pretty quick and i'm broe :<.. i may still get some fist hands or something

    10. wally, thanks for the compliment! Hm, I'll have to find this "something". Maybe it's the eyes that give him a life-like appearance. But overall, Minoru is a very realistic sculpt. For Volks at least.

    11. baby~mermaid, when I purchased the Komame's Lil Custom Lessons 5 from Volks USA, they sent me an e-mail with the link to the page on their website for ordering the hands, which is how I ordered mine. And as reitaism mentioned, the hands order period ends Jan. 31. Volks USA still lists the Lessons 5 "in stock"... ;)

      There's some fun hands, like the "jazz" hands and the "peace" hands, which are exclusive to this special order, as well as FCS hands.

    16. @Lolita, they can be used for both Midi and MSD. Some of them seem more proportioned for the girls, but they'll fit on the boys. The fun gestures are worth it -- just ask my Ryotaro and Yuni :lol:

    18. Sorry for the double post, I had another question about the book... >_<; Does anyone know how much each pair of option hands costs? And how many total there are available? Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want to buy the book and find I didn't really want/need the hands after all.

    19. @Lolita, the hands are $31.00 per pair. Plus with purchase of the book, you got the mini-sized Komame, as well as some patterns and styling hints. The 31st is the cut-off date to order the hands, though, and I don't know if you were to purchase a book today, whether you'd be given the link in time to place the hand order :(

    20. Well I got back from my trip to Tokyo a few days ago, and I did indeed buy Mako! She's unnamed right now, but I'm playing around with the name Hinata. If you have some suggestions for a nice Japanese girls name, I'd love to hear them! :)
