Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       This thread has been so quiet; I'm surprised, since this month's Volks USA online FCS offered the Midi body. I placed an order today; wanted to give Volks some encouragement, lol. That, and it was an opportunity to get the "jazz" and "peace" hands in WS and Sunlight. ;)

    5. Greetings everyone! I am really loving Mihmi and Toppi that are being released. I looked at some side-by sides of the both of them and it seems that Toppi's face is a little different than previously. I think they shrunk her eyes? They're the same as Mihmi's now.

      i just have a look and compare their eye' size. And I think Toppi' eyes size a little bit or slightly bigger than Mihmi but not much. And I look on Flickr in many pictures of this scuplt. I think some people might put in different size of iris eyes or eyes ball in there dolls like ginarolo told. Because I saw some Toppi have bigger eyes than other even through they are the same scuplt. It's just my idea.

    9. I agree, the original Toppi's eyes are slightly larger than the original Mihmi's. My question was if Volks changed the eye shape on the new Toppi. They might have just put in smaller eyes, like you said, or they might have changed the eye shape to be a little smaller for this release. Either way, I really like it!

    10. I just thought I would share at I should have an SDM Toppi on the way soon. I payed for her yesterday so I'm just waiting to hear back from the seller. I can't wait to have her which will hopefully be the end of this coming week!

    11. Congrats Yurikun! I'm really glad I had all this time to think about which SDM I wanted because I decided neither Mihmi nor Toppi work for the character I have in mind. Instead, I'm going to order a sunlight F06 Midi from the online FCS :D
      I'm super excited! I need to wait a few days to order, but it will be next week for sure.

    13. Yeah, the midi's are pretty. They're a smart addition to the Volks line, to be honest.
      If you want a pretty doll which isn't too big, they're a good choice to go to. :)

    14. Thanks Tetradeka. My girl was shipped on Monday. I can't wait to get her. I hope she will here by Friday or Saturday. That's great I love finding sculpts that work for my characters. I hope you got to order your girl during the order period. I've been eyeing the F-06 recently myself. I hope to get one someday:D

    15. I keep checking back with this thread, hoping to see photos of the new Mihmi or Toppi ! Just purchased Mihmi this morning, and can hardly wait to get her home. I so love the SDM body !! And just to add a little interest to my post, I'll share a picture of my Mako.

    16. Dragonmouse, I have Ken too. :) They are lovely and underappreciated! Mine is an oldskin boy, I'm not sure of his exact age but I'm sure he'll be coming up on 10 years old soon. He's aged well. :)

      I got Mio some new eyes since I took this picture and she looks much more expressive now. I used 14mm eyes and they fit much better. Volks had used so much glue though, it was a nightmare to get out them out! I was glad to get rid of her defaults, I think the quality on them was very poor, they looked flat and boring and never caught the light. I've yet to take a picture!

      I love your Mako ruskyles, she's gorgeous! :D

      I don't know why can't Volks change the method of attaching the eyes. It cost too much trouble.

      Toppi is so cute but I am still thinging of getting a F-33 FCS or a Toppi.They both too cute.
      Volks is going to release a White Skin F33 in CM Modal and she look adorable .
