Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     8. I just received my Mihmi today (squee! >w<) and took a reference photo with my YoSD Elena:

      For me, they will be the same character at different ages, though I think with the right matching face-ups, you can make other similar sculpts like Mako look like Elena too! Hope that helps ^^

    9. I usually just lurk on this thread and I apologize for un-lurking just to ask a question but does anybody know what size eyes the F-33 could wear? Do you think 16mm will look acceptable?

      I do not own an F-33, but my F-36 came with 16mm eyes and those work well on Mihmi too. Hope that helps!

      Default size for SDM F-33 is 16mm. VolksUSA shows their FCS Msd and SDM with 16mm eyes.

      Love the look you gave your Mihmi. The dress is stunning with those matching eyes.

    12. Nilu -Thank you so much! Your Mihmi and Elena are very very cute and I can see them being the same character at different ages. I didn't realize how similar their chin area, mouth and nose are.

      ginarolo- Thank you for your advice! I can't wait to see pictures of your incoming F-32. When I saw that F-33 was available during May's FCS I jumped and ordered. I'm so happy Volks is offering this Mold to us~

    14. essiekl: You're most welcome ^^ I didn't realize how similar they were until I mistook a picture of Mihmi for Elena xD They still have a few differences but their face structures are similar enough!

      baby~mermaid: Aww thank you ^^ Mihmi originally wasn't part of my plans... but her cute cheeks and mouth swayed me in the end. Your Mako looks really cute with the pink wig and eyes! I think they complement her lip color ^-^

      I'm also still experimenting with different wig/eyes for Mihmi. I got this shot when she tagged along on our visit to the botanical gardens ^^

    17. Hello...thread lurker coming out of hiding here...

      I just bought my second Volks doll and my first in the MSD size. She is the new SDM Toppi and I can't wait to get her. While I have been hoping to add a Volks Midi to my collection and I've always liked Toppi, she was a bit of an impulse buy! Had a bit of money on my Paypal account and was planning on transfering it all to out home bank account like a good girl, but I wandered over to the DOA market place first LOL

      I was looking at the Volks photos and I am wondering now, does the special Swarrico midi body still have double jointed knees? She looks like she might not, but I hope she does.

    19. I am assuming the MilkyTea checked the instagram account, but for those of you who haven't, check it out, it has some more photos of the new heads! I have been a bad boy, and only getting the one of my boys who is going with me to LA ready, so my SDM F-35 has been neglected for the time being...maybe I will have time for a photo of him soon!(?)

      I don't own the Sdm Toppi or Mihmi but I own a Sdm girl and boy body. I did comparison body photos with Msd and SDC here.

      From the Volks website it look like the groove in back of SDM Swarrico knee is curved where regular Sdm is straight. It should be double jointed but web photo is hard to tell.

      Hope your doll arrives soon. A few people got Sdm Toppi or Mihmi. So it will be interesting to see how their body poses. I love the double joint on the knees and arms on my Midis. They are more stable when they stand compared to my Msd bodies.

      I do own Msd Toppi version 1. It is one of my favorite Volks head molds.
