anyone have SDM F38? i wonder is it open mouth with teeth?

 

My F-38 does not have an open mouth :3

 

She is pretty! i guess the promotional photo in volks is open mouth by face up *^^*

 

It saddens me at how quiet this thread is. Can I get some more spam?

 

Here's my Mako in a cat themed dress I made for her! I want more midi spam too!

 

Of course I usually post my midi in the unified Volks mini thread, since his significant other is an SDCute and I like to post them together. But here he is~!

He is an F-30 in white skin with a Volks faceup.

I've always been tempted by Mako... this is tempting me more hahaha..

 

Thank you!! Her faceup is by Xhanthi. You should definitely get a Mako! She's such a sweet and sincere sculpt. I'd love to see more around. Your F-30 is such a cute little guy, BTW! I love WS dolls.

I might have to she's so cute~~ I'm entering the DearSD lottery but if I don't end up winning one... then I'll probably use the money to get myself a Mako hahaha.

 

@Selenae - I'd be happy to oblige, though it will be my F-33 again, as my Mako is off at the spa, and my Liz is not yet settled on her final wig.



Oh, and as to your question on the previous page, I do plan on doing a review/comparison of the SDM/SDC bodies at some point soon. To get an idea of what I'll be focusing on, I'd invite you to have a look at my Luts body comparison, in the Photo Reference section.

Has it ever happened that Volks has ended up using Sato-only molds for the online FCS? I'm in the same boat as those who were wanting an F-35... do you think emailing Volks and asking about that mold would help? I have had luck with emailing them and them actually seeming to take what I said into consideration. If a lot of people in the US wanted F-35 maybe they would offer it.
My problem with him being offered as a coord model is I'm wanting him in sunlight, for a specific character so it would have to be FCS.
Are there still proxies/people who will do the FCS for you in Japan and then send it to you for a fee? :0
Would be sketched out by that but if Volks never offers F-35 for the USA FCS, I would probably go for it.

In any case... yay I'm glad this thread is getting a lot of responses > let's make it a party.

 

I'd love to know about proxies, too. As I am seeking a sculpt that, I believe, is Sato-only. I really want an F-42, which is a sleeping version of F-20. :3

Ooooh, thank you for the video! It helped me a lot. Yes, Volks has added Sato-only molds to the online FCS, like F-30, F-31, F-34 and F-36. I know how you feel - I'm in love with F-37 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Volks will add it to this year's offerings. However, I honestly don't know if emailing them will help. I'd like to ask for F-37, but I get the feeling they get a lot of mold requests.

 

Thank you. F-20 and F-42 are the last SDMs on my list.. Though, I wouldn't complain if a newer F-33 fell into my lap. I LOVE that sculpt.

Once I completely figure out Liz, I'll share more of her. I thought I had her all figured out, but she was photographing sorta greyish, and I think her wig wasn't helping. So I need to find something that suits her better.

 

I'm glad my video could be of help!! And the fact that they've added Sato molds before gives me hope. I'm sure you're right, they probably get a lot of requests. I did ask about F-35 in my email to them as I was already contacting them about the LA Dolpa, we'll see if they say anything to that. I also just realized F-46 might work for the character I had in mind though. Hm.
I can't for the life of me remember, though I remember when they introduced 46 and 47, did they use them in the online FCS? >~< I only remember paying attention to F-31 because I thought her mouth was cute and I was thinking about ordering one haha.

 

No, Volks USA has not offered F-46 or F-47 through the online FCS. They are fairly recent additions that are still Sato only, and probably will be for a long time, considering Volks USA has yet to offer F-32 or F-35.
