I apologize for the late replies - all of Comcast's services went down Wednesday and I just got my internet back! I was going insane without my dollie fixes...

Does anyone remember if Mako was in the online FCS last year? I'd really like to get a Sunlight one! (Because one is not enough, obviously... )

 

Aaaah, your girls are adorable! I really love your Mako's cute suspenders! As for your question, your answer is no. F-43 (Mako) as an FCS sculpt is still Sato-only.

 

@Selenae Thank you! It's my first time making overalls and I'm pretty happy with them! That's too bad about Mako but I guess I really don't need two... I was thinking about getting a Minifee, but who am I kidding, I love my chunky SDMs haha. Can't wait to see what is in the FCS this time!

@Misuka - This is probably going to be my Maisie's only photoshoot before she is sent off for a new face up, so I hope you don't mind that I'm just posting another photo from the same shoot ^_^



@kuro - I know what you mean about loving chubbier/bigger MSDs It's less about the bodies for me though, and more about head size. I want all of my girls to be within the 7-8" range, so that they look nice together. As a result, I have sold off all of my slim MSDs and such. :3 Now, pretty much all of my MSDs could take a photo together and be fairly convincing that they belong there. ^_^ That idea makes me happy.

@tukarduid - Thank you for the congrats! F-33 is probably in a tie with Mamu for my favorite Volks MSD sculpts. But the others I have or plan to have - F-20, F-42, F-38, F-48, F-37/39 and Mihmi are all battling it out for second. I really do love a lot of Volks' sculpts~

And argh! I am dying from anticipation, as we await the list of FCS sculpts for April. ~_~ Don't they usually give you a week or so to prepare for it all?! Haha.

 

Of course I don't mind! She is lovely. Hope you post photos when she arrives back home from the spa.

 

Sunlight Mako here I come!!!! I don't usually love the FCS faceup options but the F-43 Girl Type is actually kind of my style! Anyone else making plans yet?!

 

Mamu usually isn't my bag, but the faceup on the girl F-43 is making me reconsider...

And agghhh my plan was for a sunlight F-35 boy in the future once I've replenished my doll bank account. Dammit, Volks!

 

Oh, thank goodness! I am safe for this round. Not really interested in F-35 or F-43, but I'm happy to see new head molds.

Sorry to bother, but I'm having trouble finding the answer on my own. Do the three current FCS sculpts (F-30, F-35, F-43) have other names? From whitebread's post, I'm guessing F-43 is Mamu? I just thought it would help in searching for owner photos if I had both names, if they existed. I had a doll planned out, but these sculpts are so cute, I'm rethinking. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks, wherethelilacsbloom! Lol, this hobby is so difficult. Every time I really get my mind made up, another doll becomes available and completely upsets my plans.

 

This is how this hobby often is.. The non-limited girls on my wishlist always seem to get bumped down in priority, because of some new Limited release :P

 

Ahhh I'm so excited. Luckily my birthday is in April so I should be getting my mako back from the spa at some point and hopefully she will return to find a sister!

I've always wanted to get one through the FCS so I'm just vibrating with excitment

 

OMG I'm so happy they added F-35 and F-43 I could cry! But now I can't decide! I've always wanted an SDM girl but I also really want an F-35 boy to re-shell an old character...
I thiiink I should get F-35 this time around and wait on a girl... I already have some limited SDM girls on my wishlist, like Shiratori, so I might as well just save up to get her from Y!J or something. Also I want an F-48 girl soooo bad I imagine it'll be quite a while before they introduce her into the online FCS though.
I'm so conflicted maaaan. Anyone have advice? Whaddya think... re-shell my old character as an F-35 boy, or get a girl (F-43 or F-31 probably)? Both will be in sunlight hehe ;;
I'm excited to see who everyone brings home this time and I'll be glad to see some custom Makos in different resin colors

 

If I were to order one, I'd get the F-30 girl, I think. :P Because I have a Mako! Hehe. F-35 would make a cute boy, for sure, but I already have one boy on order, and I don't have the wardrobe to support many boys at the moment. I'll be introducing boys into my collection very, very slowly. :P

Ahh, so you're obsessed with F-48, too, @TheBodyVolcanic ?! I fell absolutely in love with her once I saw the one-off version that Volks offered during the holiday season.. I'm so glad I found someone to serve as proxy and order her for me.. Once she gets here, I'm going to send her and Maisie, my Mamu to the same face up artist.. I want them to be sisters. F-49 is awfully tempting as well, but I'm going to probably avoid getting that one for a long, long time, as she might be a bit too similar to F-48 to justify getting both. F-44 though... Aaah, she's so gorgeous. Even as a boy.

Oh, as a side-note, my other girl from Yahoo.jp arrived last week. My long-awaited F-42. She's so lovely and serene..
