I sure did! And I had her face up done as well, with several of my other girls.

And here she is - my little Giselle!

 

Oh my goodness, Giselle is so very wide-eyed and cute! Congrats! I especially love how her eye color pops, too!

 

I picked up a Mako this weekend at Dolpa, she's been on my wishlist for a long time but always got pushed to the side because of limited releases & FCS, lol. This makes four Midis so far for me, and I have them in every resin color now~ I love them!
I got to the Sumika shop pretty late and when I saw there was just one Mako box left I knew I had to take her home :>
I love her so much, the F-43 mold is so cute and I think the default faceup really highlights its charm!
So here is my new gal with her Shige-chan plushie that was given out at the Tea Party I'm still not sure what to name her, but I'm kinda thinking about Inga, Ingrid, or Cody.

Aaah, congrats! The F-30 sculpt is super cute! May I ask how you got him? I'm struggling to get in touch with the proxy I had initially found.

It is a nice wig, isn`t it? I loved the color, and kept asking them to try on wigs until I found one that looked right ^_^
What size eyes is your boy wearing? Mine`s wearing whatever I ordered with him, and they seem a lot bigger than I remembered...

I walked into the store and spent 4 hours ordering him. ^^ (I currently live in Fukushima, Japan) My Japanese is only so-so, so for something that specific, I needed a bit of help from a dictionary, but I understood most of what they said, they understood most of what I said, and it all worked out. ^-^

@konzenkoryuu mine is wearing 16mms in that pic! I've tried some 18mms in him before & they looked a little big.

@Selenae - Are you have trouble with the proxy you originally shared with me? Because I wanted to get with her about purchasing an SDM F-50 soonish. :3

Also, my Maya is another one of my girls who's gotten her new face up recently!

 

@wherethelilacsbloom - Yeah, I am. It's entirely my fault, though: I'd contacted them a few days ago, said I was ready to order, but panicked and backed out after agreeing, because I honestly am nowhere near ready money-wise or mentally. I probably upset them. I wouldn't know what the actual response is, though, because I lost my Line account yesterday and I don't have the means to get it back.

So, I've decided to forgo the proxy, and I'm thinking it might just be easier to see what Volks USA will offer in 2018, since I figure I won't have the money saved until then anyways. What's a few more months on top of that? Besides, I can always re-work the character to fit whichever sculpt I pick. (Plus I'll actually get to see my name on the COA, as petty as that sounds.)

 

Hmm...I just checked his birth certificate...his eyes are 16mm too. They just look really big for some reason! Although now that I look back at your picture too, they do look like the same size eyes. Dunno how I missed that!

Eyes aside, I love how mine has that little smirk. They got that part of my request perfect.

Yup! I knew I was going to get a fcs while here, and midi was cheapest :P Also I needed one character-wise. I rushed to order him...the Volks store in Sendai (which is the one closest to me) temporarily closed for a bit to move over the summer, and I`m not sure that they`ll still have full choice when all the doll stuff is set back up in November.

@+qu'hier Aw, cute picture! Do two of them go to the same school too? ^_~

@Cloudedmind For some reason, the measurements aren`t easy to find >.> I found them once, but searching just now, I couldn`t find them again. I`d like to have them too! I do know that he`s 43cm tall though

 

@konzenkoryuu Yeah, that's about all the information I've been able to find. I've been using the old MSD measurements as a reference, but I'd really love to know the exact ones for the Midi body.

 

@konzenkoryuu yea, three of them go to the same school, but different grade. lil R and lil W are classmate XD

 

Sending this up again. I'm really hoping Volks USA will have another FCS in November for the SDM dolls! Oh, and Volks released two new SDM sculpts - F-52 and F-53, first on the left, and last on the right, respectively:
