Happy? did someone say "happy"? Mei is wearing her default Pinoko smile and wig, but I switched her to #32 ED eyes and half a pair of pinky-swear option hands. (Embarrassingly, the uplifted pinky finger is also a cheer for the university where I work . . . Stingers UP, Go Hornets! I wish I had thought of this before I ordered the option hands, because school spirit is not my thang.)

Pinoko is definitely LOVE. HAPPY LOVE. Although she is YoMidi, her head may be a wee big but, unlike the pirate boys, I do not think she looks odd at all. I am keeping Pinoko on the body she came with.
Oh! I forgot Pinoko was Yo-Midi. No, her head is totally Yo-sized.... she looks perfect as-is. Now I can't imagine her small head on a Midi body (did Volks ever show her as a Midi?). She's really charming-- those ED eyes make her look a lot livelier than I'd guessed. As usual, Volks's sales photos weren't doing her any favors. They definitely made the pirate boys & Satan and Devilman too oversized, and too mature, like they intended them to be Midi from the start. I still wonder why they bothered making them Yos in the first place. The bestlooking set I saw was an SDC Williams, actually.
I need to get a picture of her next to Yaso, my Yo Bontenmaru -- their heads look pretty equally oversized to me, so I'm fine with Mei's proportions. Now, whether their temperaments are compatible, well . . . @JennyNemesis, yeah, "Stingers Up" was the genius invention of our last college president, and calling it twee is really too kind. Since he left, I think it's slowly dying its natural and well-deserved death, at least on campus, but unfortunately one of the local radio stations LOVES it. Bah.

oooooooh, they are SO cute together!! Love those blue gingham shorts with your Pinoko's yellow tee. And I do like the default brown eyes -- I just felt that I had to do SOMEthing to customize Mei, because I've never stuck with any full-default set, ever.

I'm sorry, I don't! I'm sure someone will be along that does know. Kasumi was delivered yesterday. She's so, so pretty!
