Weird things your parents/roommates have said...

I let my mom open my Dragondoll Uncle body Cheng, this is what happened:

Mom: Holding a thing of bubble wrap "What's in here?"

Me: "Open it."

Mom: Opens it to discover three man bits

Me: Snicker "Pick one and put it on him!!"

Mom: "Okay!!" Picks the largest one and puts it on the doll.

We all laughed so hard at that, she couldn't stop holding him. She was very impressed by how handsome his body is XD

In another instant I took the same doll (which I named Mort) to class with me at college. There I just jokingly showed one girl his extra bits and she started laughing so hard that everyone had to go and see.

One guy even came and played with the man bits...

 

My dad said that Hazuki (l can her Luna) should have blond hair and he also said that she needs clothes. lol I agree with the more clothes but not the wig. My dad thought she was naked but she was not she was wearing her bodysuit.

 

I still remember the time when my doll arrived. My mom, aunt, and brother were all there. They wanted me to open the big box but I was like "omg, inside is a naked boy, they're gonna think I'm pretty weird! no no I can't" But they kept insisting for the longest time! But at the end I still refused. When they saw the doll, they were like "omg!! ghost boy". They never saw anything like that before. lol

 

My friend had just gotten her RS Mei and sadly the poor girl doesn't have a wig yet and my mum asked where her wig was and when my friend answered that she didn't have the money for a wig, my mum suggested "Oh, go onto eBay and get some of those human hair extentions and glue them to the doll's head." o_o Oh mum... why? Needless to say my friend and I explained to her why that would be a horrible thing to do to the doll...

 

When I'm changing Chaeri's clothes, or fitting her for a new outfit, my roommate will inevitably come into the room, take one look at my poupee deshabille, and yell "Cherry! Put your damn clothes on!"

 

After finishing my box opening my roommate who was curious inspected the doll with me.
Jaylsa: So...What do you do with him?
Me: Personally, I'm just going to collect them. I think their wonderful.
Jaylsa: Oh...-begins to turn away only to snap back the sounds of me taking his head off freak her out- DUDE.
Me:...?
Jaylsa: If that thing comes after me because you rearranged its body I'm going to haunt your ass.
Me: O_0'?
I love my roommate. lol

 

• Mom: so how long until your doll arrives?
• Me: about 2-3 months
• Mom: ITS LIKE YOU'RE PREGNANT!
• about 2-3 months later
• Me: my doll finally shipped!
• Mom: SHE'S GONE INTO LABOR!

 

I was busy sewing something for my doll, my grandmother said this, "i think your doll need some panties!". All i could do was laugh.

 

All of the people I live with have seen the 'junks' of my dolls. They all keep telling me that they'll get cold and haunt me. D=

My mother (about a doll that is a mechanic-ish) says that they all have 'tense buttocks' xD

 

While trying to oddly restring Terrence's singular leg that had fallen off. -__- My dad's been real good with helping me string my boys when I need it *Imsuperweakandscrawny*

Dad: 'Grab the string from the bottom'

I'm struggling looking inside of his headcap trying to move the bottom knot onto the top knot and adjust it on the S hook, cause I thought he said it was slipping..

I never thought Id live the day my dad was yelling at me about my BJD's boy bits. ;~;

 

Well, I took my doll to class yesterday. We were working in groups, and one guy I was assigned to work with was...talkative. Really nice, but my doll made a big impression on him! He had a lot to say, but these were the highlights:

Me: he's not dressed as a girl!!! He's got pants on!
Him: those are business pants...besides, guys don't wear shirts like that.
....
Him: Why don't you cut his hair?
Me: It won't grow back.
Him: oh well, that's because it's a girl wig. Boy wigs grow back....

 

My housemate: "Aren't you scared the dolls will kill you in your sleep?"
Me: "No, I buy stuff for them. YOU should be, though. They've got nothing to lose by killing you!"

 

I showed my mum the promo picture of the Asleep Eidolon Blueberry my sister is getting me, her response to this was two things; the first "Oh so I'll be a grandmother then"; the second "guess I'll be expected to help make her clothes".

 

My sister wanted to dress one of my dolls so she put him in a flashy Millennium dress, tutu, and bunny hat, then deemed him NerdLord. I couldn't help but laugh.

 

Me: he's got all his parts!
My brother: o.o I don't want to see.
Me: He's gonna flash ya! He's gonna flash~
Brother: =w= I'd rather be mooned instead.

My sister said, after I had put on Fionn's shoes: "what if he gets smelly feet now?"

Me: *has faolin naked so I can mesure him for some clothing*
My friend's sister: oh whats that
Sister: Her doll Faolin
MFS: He's pretty can I see him?
Me: *gives him to her*
MFS: Whats this? *means his boy parts*
Sister: His dangly bits.

All of us died laughing at that

This happened as I was leaving for one of the doll meets
Mom: Have a good time, and be safe. Do you have him buckled in properly? *talking about my doll who I'd buckled into the front seat with me* I don't want him to go flying incase you have to sudden stop.

 

Granted my father was drunk on the day I got my first doll, all he could say was "He's got a wiener! It kinda looks like mine!" And was laughing for a good 15 minutes.

My friend and her mother took me grocery shopping the other day;
Friend: Hold him mom!
Her mother: I dont want to hold that thing! It's ugly!

 

I finally got the gender confusion remark from someone this weekend!

I was doing a presentation for one of my classes this weekend, and in part of it, I showed my two dolls. I told everyone a little bit about them, about how they generally cost, their heights, and things like that. One of my friends had known about my dolls, and was actually curious to see if I would include them, but the rest of the class seemed really fascinated about them.

I told them my doll's names early on, and I heard one of my classmates saying (in regards to Stephen, my BBB Apollo) "That one's a guy?!" I laughed a little, and was also a little perplexed because he isn't dressed like a female, and (at least, to me) he looks like a guy.

My neighbores reactions have been pretty relaxed, one or two weird looks. When my doll Zev is confused with being a girl I usually slide his pants down and flash my neighbores to show they have "bits", most common reaction is gasps,laughs, and some looking away while laughing. One reaction I got had me and 3 other people laughing like crazy, my apartments are for the disabled and one of the more....special...older ladies was out there when I was showing Zev's goods to 2 other ladys asked me "Do you take him to bed with you." I screamed no out of embarassment and laughter along with the other 3 ladies. Another weird reaction was from another woman in my building, when i was showing the same 3 ladys(same day) that BJD's wigs can come off and that i can twist the head cap off, they were interested....she kinda freaked out and twitched telling me to please put its hair back on that it was making her upset o.o

When I first got my boy I showed off his "bits" to my apartments manager and she grabbed him and showed everyone in the office lol all I could hear was "oh my god" and laughs.
