1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Jul 8, 2021

    1. Meeksdoll, Little Rebel, Dreamland Studio, never owned a ShouShou doll but I had considered one. I have some Modoll guys ordered.

    2. One of my big favorites is Dragon Shell Doll. Their boys and girls have unique features, and I love the fact that their heads come with neck adapters to make them compatible for a variety of bodies as well as custom optional parts to enhance each character (clip-on elf ear pieces, masks, etc.) I currently have Snake, and would love to obtain Cat someday—

Others that I follow (as I love what they're putting out): Meeksdoll (one day I'd love to obtain one of her boys), Little Rebel, Lost Chronicle bjd, Rosen Garden....

There are so many creative and unique independent sculptors out there these days with beautiful dolls—my list is just the tip of the iceberg. :kitty2

    7. I like some, but my favourite ones are two.
      1. Lillycat. Their dolls have a really unique beauty. I adore their facial variety and aesthetic. Their 'Chibbi' models are wonderful.
      2. Atelier Momoni. Really beautiful and delicate dolls. I really like 'Momonita' model. She has a really sweet face. It makes me happy seeing Momonita pictures, that's why it's my favourite doll. :)

    14. Seed.Arts on Instagram is one of my favorites. I've got a Wol head, and the sculpting is so nice. Before I sent her off for her faceup I'd find myself just sitting there and rubbing her cheeks and nose! The unique cast ones are beautiful and come in such a fun variety of colors/glitteriness, too.

    16. I love Dollybird collaborations—they always have really gorgeous colour combinations that outshine the designs that the original company comes up with. And after discovering Dollybird, I fell in love with chuchu dolls by Dolchu.

    18. I recently became a huge fan of studio.bitamin and fell absolutely in love with their chibi! Lilith sculpt.

and I'm gonna shout out Whispering Grass (ira_scargeear on DoA) for her adorable little critters, one of whom I own and love very, very much.

    20. Irrealdoll and Dollstown I am most loyal to. Dollstown is a small company as from my understanding is just a couple maybe a couple of others help pre-covid but they get dolls cast by Dollshe and then get the parts and assemble, pack and ship the dolls. Irrealdoll used to have other companies cast their dolls but now they do them in house. They sculpted is what draws and keeps me coming back for more.
