1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

Dec 13, 2012

    1. EDIT:
I've also decided that this year I'm trying my hand on doing my own face-ups (again). Maybe I'll like doing it this time if I have the right tutorial.

    2. Too much doll buying last year, but not enough time to play with them. I need to be more realistic about how much time and space I actually have for this hobby and all the stuff that goes with it!

      1. Sell all the dolls I like, but don't absolutely love/spend time with.

      2. Solidify the clothing styles/wigs/eyes of the dolls I plan to keep, and sell off the extra bits.

      3. Take more planned pictures of my dolls.

      4. Finish modding/face-upping my two Littlefees.

If I manage all that, I'll feel much better about my time spent in this hobby. :)

    3. Get wigs and clothes for my boy and incoming girl, get a sewing machine so I can sew things for both dolls without help from my father, possibly get atleast one other doll (Resinsoul Mei in purple),

    4. Not getting any more dolls! I already broke that one on 4 January... :( But it's a kitten so it doesn't really count, right? ;)

Make outfits for Gingalain, Florens, Lovell and Kundry.

      Finish Gawain's chainmail sleeves.

      Finally take family photos!

    5. My fiance and I started our collection last year, 2012. We ended up with five girls by the end of it. For 2013, I guess my first doll will be a Miss Kitty from Dollzone that my friend and fiance preordered for me as a Christmas present! But as for goals...

      1. Focus more on clothes and shoes for the girls.
      2. Try out doing a face-up.
      3. Make some doll friends!

    6. This year I want to achieve the perfect doll family selling a couple of them I don't love anymore and getting only those that are important to me! Also I want to invest most in clothes and accessories to build the perfect looks for them. And, take them out more often for outdoor pictures... I've been so lazy and shy many times to take big dolls with me to public places for photos... hope this changes in 2013! ;D

    7. I have already broke my resolution. Damn little tiny on teh eBays. :doh

    8. 1. Plan the outfit and face-up for my Saint.
      2. Get another faceplate to mod for above mentioned doll and a sleeping fp for my B-el.
      3. Make my own clothes once I've got time... And a working sewing machine.
      4. Make my own wigs
      5. Decide what to do with my tucked away El...
      6. Not buy any more dolls except maybe one (Unoa L-bi), but we'll see.

    9. I think just getting back into the hobby for me - I've finally got my car back on the road and am hoping to go to a couple of meetups, I'm also experimenting with making shoes and since if I ever want to be able to buy any doll stuff again I'm going to have to find a way to fund it maybe start making them to sell...who knows. I want to take more pics of my gang and basically get chatting on here again.

Good luck to everyone in 2013 :)

    10. this year i dont really have any set doll plans but i would like to learn how to sew clothes for my bjd. :-) im not very good at sewing.. i can make little plush toys but ive never tried clothing so hopefully i will learn this year.

i have also been thinking about buying another doll. i currently only have one and i am enjoying it right now, but it would be great to give him some company~ i really love crobidolls, bluefairy and plutodolls so maybe one of them! i would also like to practice faceups on some "cheap" doll heads to get the hang of it.

    11. Focus my doll collecting on one type of doll (bjd).
      Buy more bjd's!
Get another display cabinet or two for my dolls!
      Take more doll photos!

    12. 1. practise doing face-ups
      2. get some clothes
      3. take more photos
      4. save money for future dolls

    13. The only plan i have is to save up for a Volks FCS F-38 and turn him into Szayel Aporro Granz from Bleach.

    14. planning to buy 2 1/6 dolls. well, im actually going to order my first 1/6 doll tonight =)

    15. Alrighty! Dolly plans for 2013!! >o>///

      1. Buy Souldoll Kanguk (Check!! bought him today! <3)
      2. Buy an Elfdoll Hazy Head
      3. Buy Proper Clothes for Kanguk
      4. Commission Proper Faceup for Kanguk
      5. Purchase my own face up materials for personal practice

    16. Since I'm new to the BJD world, I'm hoping to save to get my first doll (Island doll-Amber)

    17. 1. No major additions at this point, try to keep the new resin lust to a minimum.
      2. Get face-ups in line for those in need, maybe a couple new wigs.
      3. Work on the never-ending shoe search. Some of the brood still don't have shoes. Jasper could use an outfit or two, as well.
      4. Enjoy the dolls I have here.

    18. 1. Perhaps buy one new doll second-hand: preferably a brother for my Thea.
      2. Expand the wardrobe! Not nearly enough clothes yet- need to invest in more mix-and-match pieces.
      3. Look into crafting a room for two...

    19. I have the same resolution! Now that I've reached a point in my other overpriced hobbies where I don't really need or want to buy much more, I'd like to save up to get my first doll (hopefully a DoD girl, though I haven't made up my mind which yet!).

    20. I don't have any plans. I'd like to do more with my dolls this year, but there's no set plan and no sweat if I can't.
