1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

Dec 13, 2012

    1. 1) Finish layaway on Soom MechaAngel Sabik/ SG Sabik Head (halfway there!)
      2) buy a 55cm male Obitsu body
      3) DZ65cm body for SG Sabik head

...then the very unlikely to happen any time soon:
1)Doll Chateau Douglas - have been staring at this boy since he came out
      2) IOS 80cm boy

    2. First off on my list: Acquire dolls! Well, I've got four on the way, So I suppose it's wait for them?
Learn to sew. Be able to make pretty dresses for my girls.
Learn to make wigs. I want my visions of what I draw to come to life.
Acquire some default clothes and a wig for each of my dolls to tide them over till I accomplish making clothes and wigs.
      Get eyes for everyone.
Find time to start a layaway on one of the HZ LE egyptian boys.
Create my first hybrid, get her done by the end of this year or beginning of next.
Make lots of new dolly friends and go to meets in my area.

      Stay on my budget.

      Simple, right? lololol.

    3. This is like New Year's Resolutions for Dolls! I don't know how much of this I can accomplish in 2013, but here are my goals:

Learn to use the camera and take some doll photos
Start making costumes for my character dolls
Practice sewing so that I don't suck so much when making costumes
Get rid of all non-bjd dolls so that I have more room for bjds

I would also like to do some of the things people talk about on DOA, like taking one of my dolls for a ride in the car. I've secretly always wanted to do that.

    4. These are the plans, but likely what will happen will be getting some faceups done, I hope, and maybe the purchase of one other doll. I'm not sure which. I want to pay off some credit cards too, and if I get at least 3 down out of the four, which is DOABLE!, I will order one, maybe two.

    5. I am aiming for getting Souldoll Chu's head (and a body, it doesn't have to be HIS body but any matching body), and finish Sousuke (my Soom Ender)'s faceup, as well as getting them both clothes. I also need to find a character to go with my Illusion Spirit Minos...none of the ones I assigned him have fit so far. 8I

    6. 1. Buy a FL Feeple 70 Ashley in WS. That is, if I can ever find one.
      2. Finish all the dolls I currently have. Some are missing the proper wig, clothing or eyes. I've had my newest doll for 2 months now and she doesn't even have a faceup yet. >.>
      3. I want to like sewing. I will make this happen somehow.
      4. Save whatever is left of my money to buy a decent camera so I can start taking pictures of my doll family.
      5. Do not buy any more dolls except the Feeple Ashley until this list is completed.

    7. 1. Enjoy Chinese New Year
      2. Save up money
      3. Purchase first doll/ Beg mother to allow a pre owned doll just once
      4. Remember that I should probably get money for clothes and wigs
      5. Give up and save up money again
      6. Learn how do do face ups
      7. Begin a secret stash to buy a friend her first BJD(might check back on this one when I actually get a proper job)

    8. 1. Buy a body to a floating head.
      2. Re-shell one character, and this means selling one of the dolls... ; _____ ; But I have one head picked already for a second try at shelling this character.
      3. Finish two outfits. I really, really need proper clothes for two of my dolls.
      4. Make face-ups, as soon as the weather gets even close to zero Celsius.
      5. Get better face-up gear to better protect my health.

    9. My doll plan for 2013 is to hopefully find a job so I can get my first doll and everything that I will need to give her a face-up. And shoes. And eyeballs. Lots of shoes and eyeballs because I like looking at them. I should probably consider getting a wig as well so she won't be bald.

    10. aaaaaaaalll my plans just stopped.
I found an SD that I MUST have.
Dollring's Frankenstein comes out some time in 2013. I will not be buying any dolls other than the one I have on Layaway until I get him! IDK when he will be released but hopefully it will be far enough in the future that I will have saved up enough to buy him in one or two sittings. I hate layway. >_<

And I will learn how to sew. My mama got me a nice sewing machine, and it would be rude to not take advantage of it! I want to have a fashion degree and this is great practice.

    11. I plan to save up money for a new doll in 2013. I'll be ready when Volks releases a new doll! :)

    12. I'm hoping to get a small doll sometime this year. The one I am in love with is really affordable so that shouldn't be a problem
but mostly I am going to work on the doll I just got
Get a new wig for her, put together a small wardrobe, and get new a new faceup
I just want to enjoy some time with my first doll before getting another big girl

    13. 1. Finish getting together any elements of the dolls I already -have-. (Special eyes, wigs, outfits or accessories, Jointed hands for Blair, Pointe feet for Simone, things like that.)
      2. Get Gideon! The 70cm pita is pretty much the 'ultimate' goal of the 2013 year- he almost drowns out the possibility for getting any others.
      3. Work up a wardrobe for the MSDs again... Get one for the Zuzu's- Let's just leave this at 'Clothes. Get them.'
      4. Improve my sewing skills!
      5. Learn how to take some 'proper' photographs. ;3

    14. 1. wait patiently as my first little girl arrives.
      2. give her love and attention and persuade myself that I don't want another one just yet because I have other things to be saving for ^^
      3. finally go to a doll meet with my own doll :3

    15. My plan in this year is save the money for next one between FL60, MNF or LTF!!

    16. 1. Finish up Cassiopeia's mods, paint her sleeping face, redo her awake face, and body blush her
      2. figure out what on earth to do with my incoming Dust of Doll's Khol. (so excited though!)
      3. save up money for Minifee Mirwen and Chloe and Littlefee Ante (also maybe another pukifee) <these won't all be bought within this year but I can save!)

    17. My resin tribe is in a bit of a state, and this year, in no particular order I plan to: Save up for a body for my Dollshe SA Husky head, and commission his faceup; finish sanding, reblush and restring my Liebchen; do something about my Kid Delf Ttory Elf's hybrid body and faceup, as thr MSC on the latter has discoloured; commission a faceup for my DIM Choseol, and restring her; restring my NotDoll Aletheia and Delf Soo Special; buy several wigs, and maybe a Pukifee; start crocheting some stuff to sell to fund all this; and replace the eyelashes on my NotDoll Angelica!

    18. for 2013 i plan to...

      (a) have a 5 month wait for my incoming Unoa Zero. :<
      (b) fix my Unoa tan Chibi to how i want her
      (c) decide if im going to keep my 2 chiclines or not.
      (d) find a Unoa elder Belia
      (e) get a really nice dolly wardrobe going

    19. 1. Get Christiano a body. Seriosly, he can't float around for ever.
      2. Finish all the mod work on my friend's doll Mels.
      3. Save up for a Dollshe Saint.
      4. Sort out Aharons clothing box.
      5. Don't give up the hobby, just no. It's so hard for me right now T_T

    20. 1) Narrow down the number of companies I'm considering getting my first doll from. There are so many companies to choose from!
      2) Continue searching for that special doll, the one that will tug on my heartstrings on first site. I'm still searching for him, or her. I'm being very picky.
      3) Research and learn more about BJDs in general. Maintenance, handling, repair, touch-ups, and tidbits will be learned.
      4) Come up with a reasonable budget. Do I want to save enough for a full set doll, or a basic body? Do I want to save up for just one doll, or two? Let's not forget to include clothes, wigs, and shoes in that budget.
      5) Put money toward my "Doll Fund". I'm going to have to save, save, and save!
      6) Learn how to do faceups and reroot hair on other dolls. What better way to practice than on other, less expensive dolls?
      7) Learn how to sew and crochet. I would love to make simple outfits for my future BJD, as well as other dolls.
      8) Craft accessories for my future doll. I'll save a bit of money this way, especially if I use household items.

All in all, I doubt I'll be getting a doll this year. If anything, 2013 will be dedicated to preparing for his or her arrival, which will hopefully be next year (crossing fingers).
