What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

At first I wanted a new doll: Souldoll Soulkid Yeon-Bee, and I was planning to get her in December. However, right know my plans are to sell the body of my actual girl and buy a MNF M-line or A-line from Fairyland and keep just one doll

 

I'd love a minifee Mirwen, but current living and travelling arrangements mean that she probably isn't a good idea until 2014

 

Stop buying heads start buying bodies! I'm currently on 4 floating heads, with 2 more on the way! On the one hand I've finally found my Vimes sculpt - Simply Divine Alec, on the other I've got yet another floating head joining the crew...
(Admittedly I'm making steps towards buying bodies for 2 of them but still...)

 

I don't have a full out list, but my main thing is to spend a lot more time with my dolls, get more photos and whatnot. Been ignoring them for far too long and really gotta get them out and about again. Maybe get a little more detail into their stories and meet some more people locally

 

My plans for this year are following:

1. Finish The Kid
2. Muster the courage to start working on Galean (he's a limited sculpt and I have some modifications in mind, oh boy)
3. Try to obtain enough money to buy SOOM Dia

Well, it seems that sticking to first two parts of the plan won't be such a problem. The third part, however...I absolutely need to save up for new guitar first, since the one I have now is virtually falling apart. But. Then again. Dia. Someone help me.

 

Finish up my current dolls and order a few clothes and a Dika Doll head w/with out body from Alice's Collections. :3

 

Well, I'm going to redo mine, again. I seriously doubt if even half of this list happens this year.

3. Twin Claus in normal for Luka and Sage - really want to do this! I've been putting them off too long.

4. KDF Pine girl for Tiffany

5. KDF Nana girl

6. Brown skin Claus for Mikalis (Now I think I'm not going to get him but I dunno.)

7. Puki body and polar bear set in white

8. Faceups - Jade (Sleeping), Jiro (both faces), Pallas, Kenyon (along with blushing their bodies), DDH-04 head (eyes need setting), Adai head. (Jade's getting hers)

9. Clothes - Cutie Delf boy, LTF boy/girl, Mega Gem, and Delf girl

10. Shoes - Yo SD sized, Mega Gem

11. Body for my Dollfie Dream heads and clothes and shoes.

12. Body for my LTF Nanuri

 

My plans for 2013 are all about renovating my collection and selling the BJDs I'm not interested in anymore. I thought about trying to relive the interest I once had in them, but I'm afraid it's not working (granted, I didn't try too hard)...
So, I want to have more clothes and shoes for the dolls that are coming and that I plan to keep, and also more wigs and eye options for all of them.
I also want to find a nice place to display them safely; the closet might be pretty safe, but I would like to keep them somewhere exposed, since they are so beautiful. I would also like to learn how to photograph them properly

 

Buy more Supia dolls

 

Figuring out where in this hobby I stand. I know the MSD and Tiny size feel more right to me now.

Might be going over to just collecting dolls from Iplehouse, With-Doll and Luts. But main focus will be Iplehouse and With-Doll dolls.

Have a few companies I`ll be quiting. Might end up selling some of my non Iplehouse and With-Doll dolls.

Probably will not be getting any more SDs after my SDF GRACE.

Have to figure out how I feel about those anime dolls.

 

Only two goals met after nearly half a year??? Wow...

 

I want to get another Rosette girl and maybe some more outfits for my other Rosettes. Sell some of my tiny clothesa and SD clothes nobody is wearing & maybe one of my Pipos.

 

I am hoping to get 5 star doll Nigel at some point this year. I don't know when but it is my goal to have it by december

 

1. Save, save a lot!
2. Make some furniture.
3. Sew some pants, T-shirts and try to make shoes.

That's the basics.
I would like to buy a Mnf Seorin to make my demon, but I think this year can't be posible...

 

My 2013 plans are to:
* Sew more clothes for my daughter's SD dolls;
* For us to attend a doll meet up in a new city and make a mini vacation out of it;
* Knit more clothes for her dolls using Barbie patterns. I have a lot of Barbie patterns and some are easier to adjust the size than others.

Get a custom outfit for Briella (princess outfit)
Fairyland Minifee Girl.

For 2013 I am just focusing on completing my first doll. I want her done before I worry about buying another one. I've already got her body, I just bought her a pair of eyes, and I'm currently saving up for her head and working on making her some nice things to wear (that's the good part about having the body first--- being able to sew for her while I save and wait for her head!) By the end of the year, I'd like to have her all assembled, and have a small wardrobe of clothing made for her (including buying her a few pairs of shoes.)

 

6 Month Update..... should be fun to see how much my plans have changed XD

New dolls....
* F60 Lishe in normal skin, with sleeping head and extra hands --> Done!
* SDF Abadon in real skin brown --> Ordered a PeaksWoods Vampire Goldie and another minifee instead. Whoops
* Possibly a Dollfie Dream girl. They're so cute XD --> May still do this. Maybe not this year though
* Mystic Eyes for Lishe (order has been placed, just waiting for the invoice to pay for them. then the looooong wait begins) --> still waiting for them to ship. twice as long as any doll I've ordered haha
* Wigs & shoes for all --> this never really ends, but I have done well
* Sew a couple outfits each --> have sewn a few, but not enough. have a new sewing machine now so should be good

Existing dolls/General Plans....
* Reevaluate the current collection to determine if it needs downsizing (new face ups for 4/5 girls) --> have rehomed 1 + a floating head, and have finished 2/4 faceups
* Get a proper indoor set up for taking pictures since outside photography isn't always possible, and I mostly only seem to have time at night when natural light doesn't exist XD --> have bought some lights and sorta have them set up. still needs work though
* Accumulate more props and furniture --> yeah, nothing done here
* Take more pictures and generally try to be more active in the community --> have been pretty good on this!
* SEW MORE CLOTHES!!! and open an Etsy store (to fund the new doll plans above XD ) --> still needs to be done

So I guess I've been doing pretty good with my plans. Doing more sewing is the biggest thing yet to be done, especially as I've bought 3 dolls this year and only sold 1... haha whoops

 

I'm currently saving for a Cerisedolls Lyse. I told myself no more dolls since my little doll family is getting out of control but its really hard to resist Lyse with that unique face/body and three month layaway option. If I do get her, she will be my first SD sized girl, so I'm kinda excited about that. I'm also keeping an eye on the marketplace for a SD17 Williams and/or Shiro Tachibana. :3
