What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

My whislit to complete my family is:

LTF Luna
LTF Piki
DOC Petsha
AOD MSD Body

And of course try to play more and do more photostories with my dolls ^^

 

My plans have all collapsed ALREADY...

I was trying to finally get the one doll off my wishlist (Iplehouse Eva), but I've already put a few unexpected dolls on layaway...!

I need to get my act together and stop going crazy buying dolls. I need to take more time and be more careful in my purchases. And I need to go through doll stuff and try and put some up in the Marketplace...

 

1) Find Giselle a new home. I knew I didn't want anymore SDs, why did I even get her? x.x
2) Mystic eyes order. Getting backup for all three that have Mystic eyes since one already got badly scratched. xp
3) Want to buy a bench or couch or something for them all to sit on.
4) Get Emie a new wig. It makes sense for Mariana and Lorina to have the same wig, but three of the same is pushing it.
5) Keep an eye on Leeke for a preorder of their PureEve color. It looks absolutely perfect for my two boys.
6) Absolutely no more new dolls.

 

1. Buy more dolly clothes/accessories
2. Maybe get Juri '08? Unless I find a more suitable sculpt for my character 8)
3. Get better at taking pictures
4. Get better at sewing for dolls

 

For 2013, I plan to have both of my guys' main outfits finished! I think that's only about 4 things (although some of them are multiple parts in which case, it's a lot more lol). But I count it as 4 since the major outfits will be done at the same time.

Deidara needs:
-White gi-type pants

Souji needs:
-Main outfit in Hakuouki (which consists of a green tattsuke-hakama, a black kimono with asanoha pattern done in edo komon (yeah right), a burnt umber colored haori, and waraji zori)
-His ED kimono and black juban
-SSL tan school cardigan

@_@ That's a lot of money since the two important outfits for Souji will need to be commissioned.

 

I'll be definitely getting my first girl doll. I'm not too sure which sculpt I'll be getting yet though, there are just too many that I like!

 

These are subject to change, but ...

1| Learn to sew.
2| Amass jewelry and accessories.
3| Amass furniture.
4| Improve my photography.
5| Get a practice head.
6| Learn to do face-ups.
7| Get my grail doll.
8| Begin my MASSIVELY AWESOME BJD PROJECT OF ULTIMATE TOP SECRET SECRECY.
9| Get a nice display case.

 

I have no idea if I even have time for any of this :I

1) Gather materials for/learn to do faceups.
2) Make flower crowns for my etsy store.
3) Learn to sew! Properly! With a sewing machine, hopefully.
4) Somehow magically obtain $757 for my grail doll.
5) Get an SD sized travel case.

If I do not get my first doll this Holiday (Mother seems to keep stating that she likes BJD's and really likes the one I want (Fantasy Doll Charlotte)), No doubt I will save up all winter to get her and some decent clothing, can't have a nude doll running around with a misunderstanding step-dad who is scarred of dolls to begin with.. hehe

11.) commission a yukata for Nadeko not going to happen
12.) commission a Guppy Kisses bear hat for Nadeko not going to happen
13.) make Nadeko a cosplay outfit probably not going to happen
14.) maybe open a BJD prop shop here (for food props) not going to happen
15.) post a photostory not going to happen

I must admit that every year this thread is one of my guilty little doll pleasures. I always subscribe to it, and I love having a place to organize my thoughts. (in fact, I'll probably work on refining my list for the next month or so!) I truly enjoy reading all about people's doll plans and then sharing in their exciting successes and commiserating with them about the inevitable failures. It's like all the hopes and dreams and realities of BJD collecting in a condensed version. I find it absolutely fascinating.

Happily, my list for 2012 was successful. I was worn out by it at times, and occasionally overwhelmed by all I was trying to accomplish, but I somehow managed to stay on task and got it all done before the end of the year.

My 2013 List:

1) After being very careful not to increase my numbers last year, I feel I'm ready for a little expansion...I'm actually looking forward to shelling a few new characters in 2013!
2)Make Coyote Blue a wardrobe based on cute socks.
3) Reorganize, refine and continue to expand the wardrobes of my entire crew.
4) Get all those extra resin bits finally blushed and painted (ears, horns, weapons, armor pieces, etc.)
5) Update my signature by dividing it into two groupings, the resin monster high crew and all the rest, and then rotate using them.

 

Improve my face up skills!
Get a airbrush.
Get a body for my boy.
Save enough money for SD Megu!

 

1. A body for my floating head!
2. A DD Haruka Niimi!
3. Face-up updates
4. I'm thinking of letting my boy go. I need to buckle down and make the decision whether to or not.
5. Work on my photoshop skills and get a better camera.
6. Re-evaluate how much I want a minifee Rheia and make the final plunge.

I don't think that's too bad for an entire year. My plans will probably be altered throughout the year, of course.

 

1- get a little sister to my June (planning on a MSD size but can't made up my mind which girl to have )
2- increase their closet ..
3- get them a decent room (I only have a chair so far )
4- take more pictures .. so getting a profisional camera ^^

 

My plans are to buy less dolls and more clothes, shoes and accessories for the ones I already have. Simple as that .

Oh wait, there's one more thing: I also should take more pictures of them.

 

My dolly plans for 2013 are;

• Face up my incoming tan Saintbloom Charlotte, Kahlua.
• Find the perfect eyes for Kahlua.
• Buy a Doll Chateau body for my Volks calavera head, Poppy.
• Complete a room box diorama for Kahlua.

My dolly resolutions for 2013 are;

• Stop buying clothes/shoes just because they're cute! If it's not in a doll's character to wear those clothes, we don't need them in the wardrobe!
• Do more with the dolls, whether it's taking pictures of them or just changing their clothes.
• Take the dolls outside more often.
• Try and go to at least one doll meet!

 

My dolly plans as of right now are:

• Get the replacement parts for my pukiFee
• Find a new wig for said pukiFee
• Find eyes for said pukiFee
• Figure out a name for my pukiFee so I can stop calling it "pukiFee"
• Revamp my KDF so I'm happier with her
• Start saving up for either a pukiFee Cupid or pukiFee Luna

 

I found my passion for BJDs earlier this year and I currently own 3 dolls. My plans for next year (that I can think of for now ) are:

1. Get an Iplehouse EID Asa
2. Get an Iplehouse EID Dexter
3. Get an Iplehouse SID Felix
4. Try to make a Hybrid Doll: Soom Idealian body + Iplehouse EID or SID head.
5. Get an Angora Mohair wig for my EID Arvid
6. Try to do a new face-up for my EID Tedros Floating head
7. Learn how to do my own wigs
8. Learn how to design and sew clothes for my dolls

 

1) Find a pukifee Ante to become Jovi's little sister
2) Buy shoes, or figure out how to make them, for both girls
3) Make (and list) clothing in my etsy shop for both sizes of girls!
4) Once I have generated enough funds from etsy, buy new wigs or faceplates or eyes!
