What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

My plans are to start a small collection of lati's and to purchase a second minifee Chloe!!!!

 

Well here are my plans:

Have my MiniFee Nanuri painted by a face up artist
Have my PukiPuki Pipi repainted by a face up artist
Obtain an Aileen Dragon doll pet
& Purchase my first SD (Feeple60 I'm thinking)

 

to save as much money i can so i can buy as many dolls as i want and some other things ^w^

 

A body for Kelly, for sure. Maybe a RS Dai if I can swing that for Christmas...

 

I want a Doll Chateau doll very badly. I'm thinking of buying a head and then buying a body later since it's going to be awhile before I can afford a complete doll. I shouldn't even be looking but.....

 

This will be a year to enjoy the ones I have (only 7). I love them all and need to improve my wig and eye inventory. Most of them have pretty nice wardrobe. I will probably stick with tinies. I like that they don't take up alot of room and I am planning to continue making gnome and fairy homes for my little real puki and pukipuki. I am away from home and my workshop right now and can't wait to get back to finish up some projects that I have started.
I might buy another YOSD size and maybe another Realpuki but that is yet to be decided.

 

Get my first doll haha. I'm almost there! I should have him before the end of the year.

 

I already received my first doll early this month, but do not have any real clothing for her, so a goal of mine is to buy her first BJD clothes. It is the least I can do for her, since I will be back in school and will have to start doing as much as I can to get money.
Second in importance would be getting a body for my floating head. I already know what body I want for him, so my goal is clearly drawn out. Then would come getting him clothes, eyes, and a wig.
Third would be spoiling those two dolls with some clothes, wigs, and eyes.
Finally, if I can muster up the money, I aim to buy another doll before the year ends. It will be a lot of work, and I do not really have confidence that I will reach this last goal, but if I don't, it can go to the top of the list for next year.

 

I don't think I can realistically finish all of my dolls this year, but finishing as many as possible is a definite goal of mine. If I succeed at getting into Graduate School, I may treat myself to a couple of dolls as a reward to myself (since I'll be too broke afterward to get them!), but that's a more vaguely defined plan. Mostly I want to get myself situated with the ones I have and get a little more solid on the ones that are coming.

 

I need to resist adopting more! A bit late, but here're my doll plans for what's left of 2013:

1) Complete the layaway on my first male doll.
2) Mod a head (eye-opening) I've already got.
3) Get a body for my Dollfie Dream.
4) Adopt the BJD that my boyfriend and I have dubbed my Mini-Me! We think she's exactly what I'd be like in BJD form.

 

My plans were to get my first doll! Well first resin doll. Had to save up a lot through the year, but I managed to finally save up and purchased my first resin doll, which should be coming in a couple months.
Another plan would be to not spend so much on clothes for my Dollfie Dream. She has enough!
That brings me another point to save up enough to get my Dollfie Dream a sister to share all those clothes! Not sure yet about what kind of doll for her sister to be.
So we shall see how that goes later this year.

 

My plans are as follows:

-Sew more clothes for my current dolls.
-Work on building their wardrobe with clothes, shoes, and accessories
-Learn hot glue sueding then suede them all!
-Possible invest in girl? (super maybe though)

 

my goals for this year have been reached i was so happy about it too my plans were to get my very first doll now I have two lol

 

I'm looking forward to buying my dream doll, hopefully before the year ends if I can gather up enough extra cash and get a job in the town where I'm starting college next week. Starving college kid life, here I come~ But, it's not going to stop me from buy her. I'm also working on sculpting a BJD, which should take up all the extra time in between studying, classes, and working.

 

I ordered my first two dolls this year I plan to just stick with them for the rest of the year and work on finding them clothes and wigs.

 

Mine have changed unexpectedly a couple of times but I'm definitely on whole doll buying restriction while I get our own ready for conventions next year. I'll buy some U-noa option parts and accessories as needed for that but even with more than a few dolls on my wishlist still, I've hit a plateau. I'm planning so that by the very end of 2014 it will be the time to put a larger doll in layaway though. It's time for me to dig in and really work with and develop our existing ones until then though.

 

Time to update! (08/12/13) progress on long term #2!

1. order IH basic EID Luna with spare hands and geta feet ^^/faceup/blushing DONE (order placed June 12 ^^)
2. order IH basic JID 'I' (almost positive on this.... she's top but there is a second choice I'm waffling on) with spare parts/blushing and custom face up. DONE (order placed June 12 ^^)
3. decide on wigs for the girls choosing is so hard! (but choice is narrowed down at least). DONE (selected 3 starter styles ^^)
4. pick ONE extra outfit for EID with doll.... not 2 or 3 or..... DONE - but still ended up with 3 total outfits ><;
5. organize places for incoming girls (this is actually a challenge O_o) and growing doll wardrobe (shoes take an obscene amount of space.) IN PROGRESS I keep fiddling with it as I get stuff. (June 15 note: not sure this will ever get truly done as I keep rearranging stuff -_-) August note: cats are learning not to eat the dolls and I can leave them on my dresser most of the time now ^^.
6. purchase at least ONE full outfit for EID model body (I lucked out on getting in on the 'renewal' body event... so I have the EID body but no head now ;p (added to list 07/04/13) I got lucky and found the shoes I wanted on market place ^^. Sort of done?... I'm not sure I'd call what I've gathered an 'outfit' lol... but there is enough stuff to cover him ^^ coming in next order arrival ^^
7. Buy Iple's new 'flat' shoe selection for big gals feet!(added to list 07/04/13) Partly done, ordered one of the 3 pairs available. The other 2 pair will likely come when I pick appropriate outfits to go with.

So this makes the primary list DONE with only tweaking needed. Like the extra shoes and a more 'proper' outfit for my big man ^^. Time to think about getting my EID man?

Longer term stuff:
1. Find a camera that I can use (need to work around vision issue - this is not an easy task) DONE I think... got a camera that should allow me to use my 'large screen tablet like a remote... still need to test this out though. ^^
2. Clean up mothers long abandon sewing corner <-- been avoiding this since she passed on ... it's hard. Progress made! large table half cleared off and can get at machines! Also located manuals! (cried when I tried to make sense of any of it ;-. It's to a point where if they were conditioned someone who knew thier stuff could work there! But I still need to have them professionally tuned up after nearly 4 years on no use...
3. get mom's sewing machines reconditioned to use -
4. make 'sundress' pattern as a test dress. ( I panic at the thought of sewing... this is huge for me).
5. Sell off some of Barbie collection (really hard to part with but I will try) AND anything else I can get rid of ^^. (started with sale of Mom's 'hospital bed)

By end of year:
1. Lay in starter selection clothes (basic elements for wardrobe) for EID man ... In progress finally! ^^ he has nifty leopard print briefs!
2. O_O Start saving/getting YID girls "new" outfits just available on Iple now.

 

Ahhahahahahha! I saw my post from July where I was talking about future purchases. That must have been "self-control day".
1. Well, since then I've bought a Cerisedolls head which I've finally narrowed down the search for a body that will work.
2. I've put the Iplehouse Bianca Addiction on layaway which I hope to pay off this month and I've put the
3. Doll Chateau Christine fullset on layaway which I hope to pay off next month.
4. Oh yes, I recently purchased a Doll Chateau Ada from the MP which I hope to receive this week. There's several dolls which have caught my eye......
5. I want a Dollmore Zaoll as a learning doll for modding though it might make more sense to get something like a Resinsoul doll since they're cheaper. I figure if I mess it up I can make it a victim of some of the other dolls because one is really mean and one is not so nice......
6. Doll Chateau large male body for the extra Bianca head that I'll have.
7. Doll Chateau Alberta - Ada's mom.....
That's enough for this year....I'm going from one doll to many but once I started developing my story I was done for.....

 

08/12/13 Update!

My doll plans for 2013...

1. Find another girl doll I like (I have sooo many girl outfits I'd like to have one more girl). - Done! (05/13)
2. Get a body for at least one of the floating heads. - Done (6/13)
3. Get face up for floating head. - Done! (7/13)
4. Get back into photographing dolls. - hard at the moment with busy schedule. Still a goal.
5. Find new home for doll I don't wish to keep any longer. - In progress
6. Switch up dolls outfits more often. Been doing! Will still keep this as In progress to make sure I don't fall behind.
7. Buy another doll stand. - No progress
8. Resist buying anymore dolls (after new girl and new body for floating head are acquired) till next year, focus on what I've got. - I have been doing GREAT at this. I have almost impulsed bought two dolls and several outfits and have held myself back. I'd like to stick to the four main dolls I have and not buy more and more. In fact, I might make it a late year goal or a new year goal for next year but I need to get my boys some clothes. They have like one outfit each and the two girls have like 10 outfits.

 

My goals for 2013/2014 are:

1) Get Smita a face up
2) Get Smita two wigs
3) get a wing cap
4) Get get 3 outfit that fits her personality now
5) Work on her back story
