What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

I admit that I went a little crazy in 2012 with the new doll acquisition. That had not been my intention at all. From just wanting to sell a pukipuki to purchase the doll in a slightly bigger size, I went to somehow getting 5 pukifees and a LaTi Yellow! This year I hope it will be different!

1) The only doll I currently am yearning for is a LUTS Tiny Delf Alice. However, due to my "one in, one out" rule, if I get Alice, then I'll have to give up one of my current resin babies and I'm not sure I can do that.
2) Maybe get custom face-ups for Pukifee Bonnie / Pukifee Luna / Pukifee Mio from three very specific customizers, if I can get slots with them.
3) Get a couple more outfits & shoes for all 6 tinies!
4) Sell off my unwanted/unused eyes, wigs, etc.

 

I am not planning to add any BJDs in 2013 and will instead focus on my 3. This is what I plan to do with each one:

Pea (Fairyland Realpuki Pupu): I would like to further develop her character, take her places, and do some photo stories with her.

Sunday (Fairyland Realpuki Sira): She does not have anything at all right now since she just arrived. I would like to get her a wig and new eyes, an outfit or two, make her a little house of her own, further develop her character, take her places, and do some photo stories with her. She is going to be a lot of fun!

Autumn (Fairyland Littlefee Ante): I need to fix her wig how I would like it. Need to develop her character more and think of things to do with her. She's beautiful but I find her less easy to play with than the RealPukis since she's bigger and she and all her things take up more space.

 

My Dolly plans for 2013:
♥ Finish my CherishDoll Sera Robot mod. Seriously. The poor thing has spent more of her 'life' in pieces than strung together.
♥ Painting!! Re-do Hannelore (Bonnie) & Ilia's (Carbon) faceups. My skills have improved a lot since I first did them, and I'd really like to make my dolls look more like their characters. I also want to finally get around to painting Percival (Aileendoll Seed) and Margo (Napidoll Rogebell) as well as some resin accessories that have been floating around (CD head-cat, Mokona, Margo's horn)
♥ Fix those SD headphones I've had in pieces for months.
♥ Buy/Commission Percival's proper eyes (16mm sparkly silver urethane)
♥ Potentially get a new body for Margo (we're waiting on an F60, but I'm really unsure how it'll look/match) If the F60 is a no-go, then I'm currently looking at an SQLabs SG body. Or the F60 could work out and I won't need to worry about this one!
♥ Buy more cute SD Girl clothes! I'll have two of them by the end of the year and they'll both need clothes!
♥ Make (or buy) some boyish YOSD clothes (like waistcoats, cute overalls and a newsboy cap) for Arcturus (Glati)
♥ Make (or buy) Alana (Rosette Delilah) girl something proper to wear... She's been wearing ill-fitting YoSD tops for far too long!
♥ Make (or buy) Lillian (Mikhaila) something else to wear, since she's been stuck in the same two outfits all year... D:
♥ Buy 2 pairs of SD Girl shoes (White 'classic' MJ's & something cute, maybe pink with bows)
♥ Buy 2 pairs of Rosette Girl shoes (so Alana doesn't have to keep borrowing from my boyfriend's stash)

My Dolly Resolutions for 2013:
• I'm limiting myself to buying only TWO new dolls next year, since I've been on a spending-spree and I need to refocus on saving money, and working on the dolls I already have. One of my "two" is already taken with DDS Momo, so I've only got one more doll I can buy. If I want to buy a third, someone else will HAVE to go. I'm hoping that this mentality will really cut out my impulse buys, and the initial "OMG SO CUUUTE*O*musthavewantsnao!!" feeling.
• If I am really unhappy with a certain doll (or dolls) I will sell them, instead of holding on to them for some silly sentimental reason. I've got a few who I'm thinking might like to travel.
• With the money I'm not spending on new dolls and with the money I'll hopefully make from a few sales, I would really like to buy myself a better, smaller(lighter) camera. My current DSLR is fairly old (and very large), second hand, partly broken and weighs over half a Kg! It's really unpleasant to lug it, the tripod and a large doll-carrier around. D:
• Thus armed with my new camera I plan to take many more photos of my dolls! Some of them haven't been photographed in over a year!
• With all the photo's I'm taking, I'll have to finally get myself a Flickr Pro account! XD (been meaning to do this far aages)
• And so, with all this I can work on getting over my fear of being judged and take my dolls outside for some 'public' photos!

... Well that's the plan anyways~

 

My dolly plans are to be much more active in the forums and the groups, start making more things for my dollies. When I had my first boy, I didn't really know what to do, now I do and would like to explore photo stories.

I would like to try and make a couple meets too, now that I am getting to know people.

And of course, get more dollies and more dolly related stuff!

 

★ Firstly my most important plan of 2013, stop buying dolls. I seriously need to start saving for school, but it's so hard! ;o; Now to see if I can actually manage to see that plan through. XD ★

Plans that involve my current family
♥ Finish layaway on Vesper and Christmas gift doll to my friend.
♥ Commission blushing and face-up for Vesper.
♥ Buy the perfect outfit and pair of eyes for Vesper.
♥ Try to figure out my Wave's character, and attempt to find fitting clothes, wigs, eyes, etc.

 

1. I can't decide if I'm going to get my Feeple60 Mirwen with her clothes and everything, or save up for a second hand Volks Heath head...
2. Practice face ups
3. Practice photography
4. School + work out stuff :p

 

My plans for 2013 are:
1. New eyes for my current two, probably in January.
2. Iplehouse BID Serca, maybe in the spring, or at least by summer. Depends how my bank account looks after tax season.
3. Clothes for Serca. I found some great ones already at DDE, but they are pricey.
4. Choose a name for my DC Bella!
5. Iplehouse BID Coco, plus outfit. Much later in the year, as Serca is a higher priority.
6. Who knows??? I will probably surprise myself with changing plans!

 

My only doll plan for 2013 is to find one doll I can really bond with and cherish it! Oh, it wouldn't hurt to get a job and be ale to spoil it rotten either.

Buy 20cm, 18cm and 16 mm enchanted dolls
Buy wigs from leeke world and Crobidoll
Buy or commission Lolita style dresses for my SDgirls
Buy Volks Luna, Mikuru, Resiner and Date
Buy Diana Rose and Angela from Dearmine
Commission kitty paws and feet for Diana and Angela
Make more photo stories
Buy SD props/Furniture for photo shirts

 

• No more new dolls.
• Finish the dolls I have and don't buy more without selling somebody.
• FreedomTeller clothes for Niccolo.
• Get better at face-ups
• Get better at photography
• Get better at sewing, maybe try selling some
• Fix Quinlan's chipped face-up
• More clothes for everyone

 

Current plans that really need to happen:

- Buy/find a dremmel, epoxy, and sand paper to mod Ronnie's eyes (and maybe nose) to better fit her character
- Get her a face-up
- Sew the poor girl some clothes!
- Receive the eyes and wigs I've already ordered (Mystics and eclipse21)
- Consider getting Peppermint proper eyes; have his face-ups redone
- Put all of the extra/temporary wigs/eyes/clothes that I've bought for sale (once I get the permanent set)


If I get a job and start making more money again:

- Buy either an EID lady, a SID man or an nYID Claude (Likely go for the boy, since I already have one girl) and mod them to specifications
- Buy/commission a leather jacket for Ronnie
- Maybe get KID Irene?
- For the doll that I get - buy eyes, wigs, face-ups, tattoos

 

I plan to get a 2nd SD size doll in 2013, I've had my eye on a couple AOD girls & hope to find a deal on one or the other at some point

Also, entertaining the idea of a MSD down the line, most likely within the next year. Aside from that, just learn more, try out some things like restringing & sueding, etc!

 

1-get a sewing machine and picture camera, focus on making clothes for the doll i already have and the two other that are coming
2-focus on getting the dolls that are needed next from my wish list along with the right wigs eyes and shoes for everyone ^^

I just started buying in March of this year and already have five.
My goals are to stop buying and keep sewing, photographing.
and to go to my first meetup!

 

1. I wanted another SD girl for next year but I somehow managed to already do so. (I bought her body which is on it's way to me, and once I'll get the last payment - for another doll I sold - I'll buy her head)
2. High heel feets and shoes for the ladies
3. Proper boots for the gents
4. gang needs new outfits
5. Going to a doll meet for once ; 3;
6. MAYBE getting a (tan) yosd girl or an anthro.

 

Dolly Resolutions 2013:

• I have 12 floating heads. Buy 3 of them bodies.
• Attempt to give all 12 blank heads face-ups. Hmmm only one a month...
• Finish two mod projects and get them sold.
• Buy one SD sized girl off my wishlist... preferably Volks Elena, Volks 16 Megu, or Volks Rinon.
• Buy one SD sized boy off my wishlist.. preferably Iple Storm, or one of my Volks Sch. A twins.
• Buy one Tiny sized doll off my wishlist preferably Luts Tiny Delf Hansel, or a Volks YoSD Eddie.
• Buy no more than 3 dolls this year...
• Re-open commissions more frequently.
• Get better at face-ups so I can re-open more frequently.
• Get dolls proper wigs and eyes.
• Go through mountain of doll stuff and start cleaning out the closet to get things sold.
• ...LASTLY. Try to do at least 3 of my resolutions in 2013.
