What are you Doll Plans for 2013?

*Try to get more clothes for my first girl
*Get Iplehouse Rexy
*Get my first girl a more fitting faceup

 

1. Pay off the layaway on my DZ Carter, once he comes in.
2. Purchase Soul Doll Kagel head, start layaway on Loongsoul body, and hope the resin matches.
3. Possibly, closer to the end of the year, order my DZ Raphael/DC hybrid. (On the swan body, with the extra joints)

Yepyep. That's it. And work towards accessories and clothes on said dolls. Guhh, hands full. ):

 

I can't remember the plans/resolutions for 2012 but I think I stuck rather well to them. For 2013 I just want to continue what I've been doing in 2012 with upgrades, purges and making things to my liking.

Realistic Doll plans for 2013:

• Receive my new AE Evan and see if I like the mold enough to buy a body for it.
• If I like my Evan, then buy it a girl body and get the bust modded to a small chest.
• Buy clothes, wigs etc for Mitsuki (the Evan)
• Repaint my ReChe / Send him out for a new faceup, he really needs a new one. {DONE}
• Get the inside of my IO's head modded so his eyes fit better.
• Repaint / Commission a faceup for said IO.
• Consider sending out my Genji for a faceup OR repaint him when I get better. {DONE}
• Purchase respirator to practice faceups again. {DONE}
• Continue to purge my dolls' wardrobes and their accesssories. {DONE}
• Buy new outfit for IO, Yeon-Ho and El.(Half done)
• Decide whether to sell my Shine / his body or not.{DONE}
• Mod and restore my second Dreaming El head. {DONE}
• Buy new eyes for some of the dolls.

Other goals depending on circumstances:

• Save up for a new doll, not decided on what. I would like a new 65cm sized boy or maybe a SD16 sized girl.
• Practice taking better photos.
• Make backdrops for photos.

Update on 05/05/13, half way through the year I've achieved half of my goals (I stuck to it better than expected.) I struck out all the ones dealing with Evan as I ended up selling him, I also sold my Shine and his body and purchased a tiny girl instead as I felt overwhelmed with my big dolls. I'm on track right now, a few other things to do but strangely enough kept to most of my resolutions so far.

 

I don't know whether I should buy DC Alberta or lots of clothes and shoes for my MNF Chloe (who will be home in a few days!) ; w ;

 

I don't have too many plans yet, but these are mine so far:
1. Get clothes for my girl!
2 Find her a definite wig and eyes
3. Try to get at least one more BJD that's on my wishlist!!

 

I'm slowly coming back to the hobby, 2012 wasn't a good year at all and I almost quit. Hopefully things will change.

What I definitely have to do:
- Buy a sewing machine and make clothes (or try to)
- Take more photos and take them to different places
- Enhance my creativity
- Buy more acessories
- Sell a lot of stuff/clean the closet

Also, I'm thinking about selling one of my dolls. Not sure yet.

These are the minor, realistic things.

o Write out stories for my dolls

o Buy more wigs
o Buy Maid and Schoolgirl Outfits
o Splurge on one or two super expensive outfits

o Purchase new elastic for my 68cm
o Purchase more eyes, and one or two pairs of urethane
o Buy shoes! Lol!
o Install eyelashes into all of my dolls
o Get my hands on some sort of faceup sealant D:

I would like to get a job over the summer so I can buy my grail doll. That would be super great.
I would also like to learn how to sew, since my mother is great at it.

Doll plans for 2013

1) Kid Delf Pine Girl (Tiffany)

2) More clothing for Lucas and Rowan (Mega Gems)

3) Junior Delf Terras (Luka and Sage)

 

Mine isn't too long.
Buy or make more clothes for the doll I have now.
Improve my indoor photography setup.
Possibly buy a DollFamily Zi Luo. I think he'd do an awesome Link cosplay.

Let's see... my plans for 2013 are:

New dolls....
* F60 Lishe in normal skin, with sleeping head and extra hands
* SDF Abadon in real skin brown
* Possibly a Dollfie Dream girl. They're so cute XD
* Mystic Eyes for Lishe (order has been placed, just waiting for the invoice to pay for them. then the looooong wait begins)
* Wigs & shoes for all
* Sew a couple outfits each

I don't necessarily expect to accomplish all that this year, as I`ll soon have to be a responsible adult and pay rent and bills and stuff again. One bad thing about school ending... but Lishe is a definite for sure thing, the rest will happen as it can

Existing dolls/General Plans....
* Reevaluate the current collection to determine if it needs downsizing (new face ups for 4/5 girls)
* Get a proper indoor set up for taking pictures since outside photography isn't always possible, and I mostly only seem to have time at night when natural light doesn't exist XD
* Accumulate more props and furniture
* Take more pictures and generally try to be more active in the community
* SEW MORE CLOTHES!!! and open an Etsy store (to fund the new doll plans above XD )

Most of these should be feasible this year, especially now that I'm officially done school and will only have work to worry about this year. I'm excited, hoping it will be my best dollie year yet!

 

1.Not to buy any more dolls for a while.
2.Find the perfect wig for Delphine.
3.Get all my girls new and professionally made outfits.
4.Repair some doll damage.

 

Wow this list is gonna be short. XD

-- Get a new job. This is something of a requirement for almost any doll-related activity.
-- Finish Jake. I need to get him shipped off to the customizer here soon. Poor boy deserves to be not in pieces in a box in my room.
-- Get a carrier. Jake needs a place to stay.
-- POSSIBLY put money aside into the Dream Doll Fund, circumstances willing.

 

I completely re-shelled alll my dolls this year! I did alot of selling/buying/trading as well. next year hoping to focus on my group more. right now my goals are:

1) pay off all the layaways I have ATM

2) buy body for my floating head

3) get at least 2 outfits for both my dolls

4) and my unrealistic goal: perhaps get either a resinsoul Ai and/or the new IOS vampire boy

 

1/ Do not buy more doll. I wanna focus items for my current babies.
2/ Cosplay them to some easy characters (lol)
3/ Shoot more lovely pictures
4/ Have some furnitures for them >"<

 

Well for one...stop buying dolls for a while lol. My wallet hates me right now. I've made a new rule and that's 2 girls a year. Though since I ordered my DZ annie in 2012 and she'll arrive in 2013, does she count for 2013? Hmmm.

And I definitely need to increase their wardrobe. My tiny is fine b/c her and I raided my sister's old barbie clothes tub. But the other girls pretty much like one outfit apiece. I really want to get or make them all some jeans. Penny kind of stole Lyria's jeans so one of them will be needing a pair.

I drew a basic pattern for Power Girl's costume so I really want to get that started and then finished. She hasn't come out of her box for a while...I think she's mad at me for putting it off.

I want to make/buy some more black clothes for Dani. Maybe get her a stuffed spider.

Finish Lyria's jacket which was gonna be a hoodie but I think I might just make it a collared jacket now.

Get my room finished so the girls can take over my closet shelf as their room lol.

Attempt to mod a BBB tiny into a TF Prime Arcee. Fingers crossed

Pay off Jack when she arrives stateside

 

1) Learn to sew so my poor doll will have something to wear
2) Photos, lots of them
3) Buy a floating head and practice my face-up skills and do some resin experimentation
4)Save up for my next doll

Well technically no lol. I put her on layaway. So most of my payments will be in 2013. Damn lol

 

Hmm. I haven't really thought too much about it yet, so none of these are definite plans. But there's a few things I'd like to accomplish if possible:

~ new faceup for my Fantasy Doll boy

~ a resin body (as opposed to the plush one he has) for my SDF Howl head (this has been on my "to do" list for years; maybe 2013 will finally be the one! XD)

~ maybe get a HDF Pitta? and/or the SDF Odin that's been on my wishlist for a while (there's really only a chance for them if I get a higher paying & FT job, because....)

...the biggest things I'm really planning on saving for in 2013 are trips to Otakon (a yearly tradition) and to Disney World (used to be a yearly tradition, but now I haven't been since 2005!). :3 So I guess my most important doll plan for the year will be to really try & avoid making unnecessary or impulse doll/doll accessory purchases (based on my past track record, that will be soo not easy for me). lol
