Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Doll Plans for 2013

      -Stop buying dolls for a while. This being my first year in the hobby I went a little overboard and it came back to bite me in the butt, so I'm resolving to manage my money better overall and not just doll-wise.
      -Build up the wardrobe for all of my girls, especially the PKFs and especially the shoes.
      -Pay more attention to my RS/BBB girls. Ever since I fell in love with Fairylands tiny sculpts I've been a bit neglectful of my other girls.
      -Take more pictures. I know the only way I'm going to improve is if I keep working with the camera.

    2. My bjd 2013 plan is:
      1) stop impulse buy, 2) pay off layaway, 3) get a body for my FL 2012 Nanuri B floating head, 4) get a airbrush! :)

      1. Save up for the prince my Aria lives with. And find a doll that will suit his character. :sweat
      2. Improve my photography skills.
      3. Make a 18th century outfit for Aria, complete with needlework and beading.
      (4. Finish Shin'ya's new legs and give him new arms. Putting parantheses here since he's off topic.)

      I'm not sure what will take the most time...but woah...all of them will take lots of time! *_*

    7. My current dolls claim they all they realy need are: complete new wardrobes, a car that actually runs and a pirate ship, greedy little buggers aren't they?
      But MY doll plans for 2013 include: acquiring more Iplehouse dolls, definitely Kamau and possibly Ashanti. Making a lot more clothes for the Carina I got last week, so far all the poor thing has are a pair of pants I made yesterday. She wants a bright red pirate captains coat, a tricorn hat with a LOT of feathers, a floofie white pirate shirt and boots that go ALL the way up, and a sword and a gun. Anybody know where to find a pirate type pistol? Something pre- 18th century in appearance? Big enough/ small enough for a 65cm doll?
      I want to make an Egyptian throne room, so I can take pictures.( So I guess it's time to learn fine wood working, so I can make the furniture.) ...And maybe I should, ah,.... read the camera manual?

    8. My plans for 2013:

      - Learn to make patterns and clothing for a 4 legged doll (Is probably going to be easier to do once the DC Alberta Centaur actually arrives home, hopefully sometime in the spring.)

      - Make more outfits, as I have many naked doll sitting around (not that I'm not enjoying the current view or anything...)

      - Convince myself I don't need more dolls. I already know I can't convince myself not to want them.

      - Convince my sister she really does need a MSD boy. (Fat chance; she already has a Pleo)

      - Help sis sew for her Pleo, drat.

      -Get jointed hands for a certain Diva vampire before he fangs me in my sleep-Done!

      -Re-do Danica's mods in whiter epoxy

      -Get me an Iplehouse boy...and Iplehouse Irene...and maybe an Iple girl as well, Carina or Lahela.

      -Make everyone a basic jeans/l.s. shirt/s.s. shirt outfit-edit-Done!

      Seriously though, I've been out of the doll hobby for a while, despite dipping in and out of this forum every year or so. I've decided to start buying dolls again. (my 'newest' is 5 years old already!)

      1. Fairyland Mirwen (MNF or 60cm...Will figure that out soon...)
      2. Peakswoods Goldie - This has been my dream girl since I came into the hobby and I hope I can finally get her this year!
      3. Withdoll...Any girl
      4. MAYBE - Fairyland Rona or Siean 60cm

      Annnd hopefully that will be it!
      For non-actual doll plans:
      1. An outfit for my Withdoll Priscilla
      2. A wig for my Withdoll Priscilla...
      3. A wig for my Narae

      Annnd I hope I can finally learn how to sew my own doll clothes!

    13. My plans for Tino for 2013:
      1) Find a pair of boots that fit her.
      2) Make a new wig for her.
      3) New eyes.
      4) New faceup.
      5) Learn to take better photographs.

      I'd like to bring Tino's sister home by the end of 2013, but that will depend on finances and space.

    14. The last two dolls I'd planned to buy are now on their way, so for 2013:
      1) Become a better seamstress and make clothes, not buy them.
      2) Only buy a couple of wigs that work better for the characters.
      3) Take more photos.
      4) The big plan... to use the character dolls as models for comic book illustrations, hopefully for publication. :)
      5) Make wiser choices about money and time, and not let the dolls interfere with my writing career.

      More dolls? Not unless I run across a fabulous-can't-pass-it-up deal at a doll show or online.

    15. I have quite a few plans for my BJDness in '13! Here they are in order of earliest > latest.

      1. Open up some slots for free face ups so I can practice.
      2. Develop the dolls I get for Christmas.
      3. Get a body for my Luts '08 Man head.
      4. If Iplehouse re-releases JID Isar in CDS I'll order her once I have enough money.
      5. Get the guts to go out into my campus' buildings or outdoor areas and take photos.

    17. Plans? Hmm, I don't think I have a huge list, but maybe typing it out will make me stick to it! ... Or at least remember it. :sweat

      - Buy a body for my floating head.
      - Sew more clothes for all of my resin~ I'd eventually like to start making a quota for myself than I can actually think about having an Artist Ally table in 2014! (<= Definitely a long term goal!)
      - Start and finish painting Skylar's Robot Arm.
      - Do a happy box dance when my Good-bye Bimong event Narin N415 comes home!

    18. Like everyone else I too had a huge dolly population explosion in 2012. Now that I got that out of my system, I am finding myself being more discriminating in my dolly collection/purchasing. I no longer want that cute cutesy.

      My plan for 2012 is to save up for an upcoming Lusion I may fall in love with. This would be number 4 for me.

      Keep up with professional face ups on my dolls.

      Sharing on all my dolly sites.

      Purchasing more clothing for them from their particular site. Shoes. Wigs, Eyes too.

    19. So far my top priorities would be 50cm Obitsu body for my DDH-03 head and then if I'm lucky - 65cm Obitsu guy. As for others, I will just have to wait and see. :)

    20. I'd like to make some more clothes, and uh... finish the clothes that I started making 3 months ago -.-' Practise some more faceups. And I think I'll start getting more serious about saving up for an Iple House Arvid. Yes, so far, that sounds doable :)
