    1. I hope some of my plans are going to work this year :)


      1. Find new home for my two floating heads (2 sd boys ns: chrom and leeke boy head)
      2. I've gave up with SD size dolls, so I'm going to sell all stuff for big boys (sound kinda kinky ;) but ealier I've owned only boy dz floy) wigs, eyes, outfits ect
      3. From sold stuff I'm going to buy msd girl, propably it'll be a minifee girl (it's weird for me to plan such a doll, because not so long ago I hated dolls from fairyland though) or create hybrid with unoa head
      4. Finish my custom yosd boy
      5. I'm going also to sculp my own msd girl
      6. Create small blog dedicated to bjd dolls
      7. I'm going to find ns hooves for my yosd girl
      8. I just looove to make modyfications on dolls, so I'm going to create some

    3. Hello all, I'm new here and this is my first post. I just bought a second-hand Obitsu on ebay today (of course, this is also my first Obitsu/ expensive doll). She is a little beat up, but my goal is to make her gorgeous by the end of the year. This of course means having to do her face up, which I am both excited and intimidated by. I haven't decided on a name yet.

      6. Make a clohing se and accessoires for Necrosomnia
      7. Give Necrosomnia a face up and when her body arrives body paint.

      9. Make fox ears for Chessmess
      10. Get a closet where I can make little rooms for my dolls in
      11. Get some more small books for Grendell
      12. Do the face up/ body blushing/ tattoo's and modifications on the incomming peakswoods lady

      Ongoing projects

      > Receive my first doll (ordered late December 2013).
      > Get comfortable with restringing.
      > Have a go at a face up.
      > Learn how to use a sewing machine so I can make some BJD clothes.
      > Order my 2nd and 3rd doll (already chosen, just need the funds!)

    8. 01/19 UPDATE!!! - Decided against the LS centaur since the options are to limited and I can really use the money elsewhere ><.

      Okay, my actual plans for the new year!

      1. Learn to restring!
      2. Buy proper tools to restring. <- ordered Jessica's new string.
      3. Pay off my Chiron centaur and bring him home! (aiming for Feb/March of 14) <-- one more payment left!
      4. Send his and the human head I also snagged this year 'back' to Soul Doll to get matched face ups (I love their human Chiron face). Not sure how fast this will be since I don't want to have to put away a headless centaur as soon as I get him -_-
      5. Buy camera accessories (namely a tripod and light reflectors).
      6. BRING HOME IH DEXTER! ... ORDERED! (13/12/30)
      7. Find safe place for Soul Doll Chiron centaur to live O_o. (may require a case?)
      8. Get IH nYID... (waffling on which head though, a second Emilia or Erica)
      9. Get Enyu's 'house' out of storage and set it up (got a ton of stuff to put in already)
      10. Commission 'simple' regency dress and 'red knit socks!'
      11. Try out a couple of doll stands for BIG dolls (stop being paranoid about wasting the money ><) Angel Soul and Loong Soul look like good candidates
      12. Get REreading E.B.'s books so I can plot out character descriptions and decided costume details (not just 'the black dress' LOL).

      Ongoing projects.
      1. Sort and tidy up doll wardrobe... ongoing process ><. But needing new 'game plan' of where to put stuff.
      2. Get sewing corner 'usable'. - tested machine decided it needs recondition before any 'real' sewing projects (will still try 'test' sewing on scraps?)
      3. Try out sundress 'test' pattern.
      3. See if 'in home lessons' are possible? (really hard to find ones that are not too advanced).

      PIPE-DREAMS! - for when I win a lotto or???
      1. 2nd & 3rd full nYID girls (the Langley girls)
      2. SID womnan (prolly Grace?)
      3. 2nd EID man OR a SID maybe?

      It's only been a month since I posted but already have changed plans:
      Already sold the doll I was thinking of comishing a face up for
      Sell two more dolls Just the two more though..
      Buy Doll Chateau Agatha. Pure love. Should have that locked down this week.
      Save up for DC Olivia and that wicked DC body
      Stop buying dolls after that!
      Finish the blushing on the dolls I have. Make them some clothes!

      1. All my dolls have at least 3 outfits
      2. All my dolls have hair (all of my dolls are bald at the moment)
      3. Have background stories for all my dolls
      4. Name my twins
      5. Create a 1/4 MSD diorama of a manster bedroom for my AOD Rao doll.
      6. Get a cool, coffin like case to carry my dolls in
      7. Go to more BJD Meetups
      8. Play with them more ^_^

    11. Updating this Again:

      1. Buy my Soom Rosette School Fir in January -ORDERED!
      2. Finish my first doll's clothes [she is still pantless currently even though I've had her since June x.x] -in progress
      3. Make her guns.
      4. Redo her faceup.
      5. Buy a pair of shoes for incoming doll, some eyes for Guen and Douglas, and maybe some fabric for clothes
      6. Buy a camera so I can take pictures not happening this year :/
      7. MAYBE buy my Resinsoul minis that I wanted to get over a year ago.... XD not happening this year :/
      6. Buy my Iplehouse Douglas! -working on saving for him :D
      7. Have fun learning how to make my own BJD
      8. Maybe finally paint my Doll Leaves Cat tiny...
      9. Start saving for a minifee.... or two... or three... or seven XD

      4. Buy Thomas head (again Whispering grass, when will in pre-order this year)

    14. Augh I have so many plans now! Most of them formulated just in the past 7 days!

      Originally my plans were simple:

      -Finally, after 7 years of deliberating, buy a doll.

      And I completed that on January 2nd!

      I had no way of knowing that after buying the doll and finding this forum my plans would change almost literally overnight to include:

      -Buy more dolls
      -Learn as much as I can ABOUT said dolls
      -Purchase needed supplies to try my hand at face ups (completed yesterday!)
      -Learn more about photography
      -Try and quell ongoing urge to stay up until 4am reading threads here. (No hope for this one XD)
      -Consider coercing dear friend with a sewing machine and mega sewing talent into making me cute things with promises of pizza, chocolate and Running Man episodes.

      1. After 7 years of pining for him... Buying my SD 17 Resiner and his yo midi version
      2. Buying SD 17 Wiliams the Young Ensign and his yo midi version
      3. Pay off my mini Warlord Botanmaru and bring him home.
      4. Order my MSD F-29 before Volks USA closes their store.
      5. Buy a white SDGr G body for my Una.
      6. Buy clothes for my SD 17 boys after I have them.
      7. Buy Bright green utherane eyes for my New switch Yiho.
      That's it for now... I might add more after I complete some of these but I will have to wait and see.

    16. Let me consult the spreadsheet... (Yes, I have a spreadsheet, shaddup)

      This year will hopefully be a body year. I need four currently.

      - My Supia Roda already has an appointment next month with CMG
      - Need to decide who is going to faceup my Granado boy
      - Decide on permanent eyes for my Sch D girl, probably Vings
      - Decide if I'm going to keep my SA Husky and if so what I'm going to do with him
      - Continue sacking away money for my DD Hatsune Miku
      - Pay off my MNF Tika fullset

      That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there will be more.

    17. There is still a couple of months before I am reunited with my dolls... but so far the 2014 plans go as follows;

      - rehome a few of the dolls that I don't feel bonded with anymore (and a bunch of parts I dont need)
      - get used to doing faceups again
      - save up for some dollshe boys
      - get new bodies for my two dollgrus that actually match them
      - take tons and tons of photos!
      - build a diorama of some kind
      - do at least one water photoshoot

      Hopefully I can stick to this :D

    18. My Doll Plans for 2014:

      - finish the layaway for my Withdoll Juwel

      - get a Fantasy Doll Yolanda

      - taking a definitive decision about getting a DollChateu Douglas, and if the case starting to save for him.

      - sewing a ton of clothes for my dolls

      - make a bed room diorama for Dahlia

      - take tons of photos and manage to do at least an open-air photoshoot!

    19. All of my extra doll things are in storage right now (including their spare clothes!), so I am hoping to sew some clothes (fluffy dresses of doom) for my girls.


      • Make some custom shoes
      • Save to get bodies for my floating heads (with everything going on in life, I’ll be thrilled to get two bodies)
      • Save for Dollisum Plus!
      • Get better at pattern making
      • Make lots of strappy garment things for my guys. :3
      • Make lots of books for my doll sized library
      • Take a lot more photo’s than I have this year
      • Update my doll blog! Gah, I’ve been so horrid lately. Too much going on and not enough good photo’s.

      With so much going on for me, I figure that will pretty much cover the entire year.

    20. I've already put into works my goal to get a head for my Minifee body. So my goals are:

      - Finish his eye opening
      - Start practicing my own faceups
      - Get a new body for my Harang; he's been on a Fdoll body for way too long!

      I do have some more cast members to fill, but it doesn't feel urgent. I'm just going to keep my eye out for more tan Minifees.
