What are you Doll Plans for 2014?

um... here goes...
1. save up to buy a 60cm female doll
2. continue sewing items for my doll
3. somehow acquire a chair for my doll
4. get some more clothes for my doll
5. attend a bjd-related event

i guess that is it?

 

For me, it would be:
-finish my doll default clothes and other clothes as well
- making basic furniture like bed and wardrobe
- learn to improve my doll wig
- making her own portable house if possible
- learn to make different type of shoes for doll

I guess that's it for now. Hope all of this can be done soon

* Do faceup/blushing/mod work on the incoming LTF Horde -- in progress!
* Get Ed's new head and get that blushed -- ordered!
* Order the remaining LTF Horde, or another bigger doll -- one LTF and two bigger girls are on their way in...

* Finally find a couple of (moderately affordable) 50 cm-ish bodies for my cat girls.

I started the year with no dollie plans what so ever. In fact until the end of January I was sort of out of the hobby. I have my collection of nine or so dolls and that was that. Then I discovered I was getting a nice tax refund and somehow got it in my head I wanted to add to my collection. I had pretty much decided on another MSD boy to go with my collection of seven MSD boys, one MSD girl and a teenie. Yeah that went right out the window when I found an Ebay auction for a Dolkot Kiss that was way way way under market value for such a doll, plus one I have wanted since the moment I saw him. I won him. Now my doll plans for 2014 are to bring home his boyfriend, and start amassing a collection of SD clothing for him and his boyfriend.

Also to revamp a few of the MSDs I have had for a while. A few of them could use new looks as in face-ups, wigs, clothes, and all that. Along with that finally restring my Bobobie Ariel, because she as needed it from the very beginning.

Possibly get a Doll Chateau Douglas or Colin on layaway.

1. Buy my Soom Rosette School Fir in January -ON SHIPPING! YAY!
2. Finish my first doll's clothes [she is still pantless currently even though I've had her since June x.x] -in progress.. 1 leg down, one to go!
3. Make her guns.
4. Redo her faceup.
5. Buy a pair of shoes for incoming doll, some eyes for Guen and Douglas, and maybe some fabric for clothes
6. Buy a camera so I can take pictures not happening this year :/
7. MAYBE buy my Resinsoul minis that I wanted to get over a year ago.... XD not happening this year :/

I only have two plans for this year, and they are the same plans I've had ever since I got into this godforsaken hobby:

1. Complete the dolls I already have.
2. Resist buying more dolls.

Easier said than done!

 

I will get my big Loki and my Dragon home.

 

My plans are to finish off the dolls I own; One needs a faceup and another needs a body

Get my BJD & Human accessory business online.

And if the fates allow put some money aside and buy a Miyu sculpt...but I should decide if I want a Luts or Fairyland version first x3

 

Seems like as good a place as any to collect my doll plans...

1. Get my Souldoll Liddell (Odette)
2. Finish the mods and faceup on my first doll (Crow)
3. New faceups for Eli and Arion
4. Ear mods for Arion
5. Ear, teeth, and body mods for Dikadoll Amanda (and faceup)
6. Faceup for DiM Galahad
7. Bodies for the floating heads
8. More clothes, wigs, eyes, and accessories for everyone!
9. Learn to sew more clothes for dolls
10. Do more doll crafts in general!

and maybe, just maybe (if I'm super lucky) :
11. obtain my grail doll (Sweet Gale Cyril) >.>

And of course
12. try not to buy any more dolls than I have plans for!

 

I plan to learn to restring, practice faceups on a spare doll head, buy some more of the dolls on my list to get, and have two wigs and outfits for each of my current dolls ((current have two bald dolls)).

 

1. Fearlessly create a hybrid
2. Get my hands on at least one of my two grail sculpts
3. Start sewing for my dolls
4. Try and stick to my list of dolls I want
5. Fall in love with a soom monthly...and be able to buy it
6. Attend a doll event Q _ Q

 

1) pay off layby for mnf shushu
2) pay off layby for mnf Rin fullset with DDE
3) finalize the looks for 2 of my dolls
4) buy a ton more mnf clothes
5) stick with msd size
6)once lay-bys completed- no more dolls until the rest of my list is finished ( this is hard because I tend to buy on the spur if the moment )
7) spend rest of year saving to potentially get a EID dexter next year (love him so much, but the size!!)

 

Overall, I just want to get back into the hobby - it's been so long since I've done ANYTHING with my BJDs. They're in need of a little love! Other than that, in no specific order:

1. Quit putting it off and trim the bangs on my Ttori's wig. They're annoying and asymmetrical!
2. Re-do my floating head's face-up, or commission someone to do it for me.
3. Buy a new wig (THAT ACTUALLY FITS!) for my floating head.
4. FRIGGIN' BUY A BODY FOR MY FLOATING HEAD!!!
5. Also, more MSD clothes.
6. AND RE-STRING MY TTORI!!!!! He's floppier than a ragdoll cat!
7. Maybe experiment with mods and body blushing? I've had scar mods planned for my Ttori FOREVER, and I kinda wanna play around with blushing with pastels, and maybe giving my boy a mani/pedi.
8. Going along with that, once my Ossia comes, I wanna blush her to look more like her species of deer.
9. I don't know. I want to do ALL THE DORRIE THINGS.

 

1. New Chloe head(and possibly body, since I want some of dat m line boobage)
2. Mystic kids Eileen( first sd!)On her way!
3. Start making more stock alpaca wigs to sell.
4. Buy my dolls shoes( I own none at the moment)
3. Learn the art of sewing.
Thats about it for this year.

 

1. Learn to 3D Model (In progress).
2. 3d Print a doll
3. Buy first Resin BJD.
4. Learn to make wigs.
5. Get an airbrush.

Heavy on the learning side this year! But I have big plans, especially if I can get my 3D work up to snuff.
