What are you Doll Plans for 2014?

New plans for me. Since, I've strayed from the original plans...>.>

1) Make or obtain clothes for all of my dolls. I really want to make my own clothes because I'm looking to save money.
2) Get shoes for everyone!! I still have a few dolls without shoes. Plus, my minifee would like more.
3) Wigs are a go! I think everyone has the right wig except Minhyun. New wigs never hurt anyone.
4) Go to my first doll meet! I plan to ,hopefully, attend one next month.
5) New faceups for Madelyn, Niah and Lucas
6) If possible...a body for Niah. May or may not happen.
7) Can't forget the eyes...

 

1) buy a big bookshelf for my dolls.
2) get better and better with the face up
3) take as more photos as I can
4) get new a better photo backgrounds
5) get more beautiful outfits

*do not get too much new dolls at home this year......

 

1.) Keep practicing faceups until I can do simple, natural ones to my satisfaction most of the time
2.) Learn to make some sort of funky clothes for my dolls - sweaters or t-shirts, shorts, something easy but cool
3.) Try making a wig with the huge assortment of mohair yarn I bought & have never used
4.) Take my daughter to the Korean BJD show in L.A. next month and have a wonderful time together
5.) Buy one of the odd looking dolls I like so much, something from Doll Chateau or Nefer Kane....those dolls amaze me!

 

1. Buy new head for Castiel.
2. Commission a faceup for Castiel's new head.
3. Buy new, proportionate hands for Cas. Get sanded if necessary. Attach them. Get blushed if necessary.
4. New shirt, shoes, and wig for Cas.
5. Layaway IslandDoll Jonas (Andi), plus outfit and wig. Eyes if necessary.
6. Commission faceup for Andi.
7. Become better at photography.
8. Do photostories outside of box openings.
9. Layaway Iplehouse Denzel (Sam).
10. Commission faceup for Sam.
11. Pants, shoes and wig for Sam. Eyes if necessary.

(Last three are big "maybes" but after my car's paid off, who knows what I'll be able to do? )

 

1) Pay off all three dolls on layaway (oh gods, what am I doing @.@;

2) Get a body for my floating head

3) Gather materials and workspace to finally attempt my own face-ups/body-blushing

4) Possibly be either horrified at my lack of faceup skills, or amazed at my shocking talents XD

 

1) Have another make-up for my Dearmine Dune
2) Order a new Minifee OR 2 pukipuki
3) Make some make-up myself
4) Trying to make some alpaca wig myself ^^

 

Progress update!

#1 Find alternative materials for eye-making. The smaller sizes look perfect with the materials I have, but the larger (12mm+) ones still have some room for improvement. --- In progress. The first batch of experimental eyes came out a LOT better than the old ones. Not quite there yet, but it's definitely a start.

#2 Make more wigs. Maybe use some different materials / techniques here as well. --- In progress, too! Started making my own wefts, which makes a lot of difference, and tried a different way of making the caps.

#2b. In the process of #2, get better at making wigs. --- Comparing the latest one to the one before that ... uh, yeah. It's all in the technique, I guess! Goodbye crappy eBay bought wefts, hello goat and alpaca fuzz all over my workspace.

#3 Learn moar crafts! And work on the ones I picked up this year. (More specifically, polymer clay stuffs and the like ... also, furniture.) --- Nothing here yet, I'm still busy with the first two

#4 Continued from this year's plans - get as many of the main crew home as possible. --- In progress - one ordered, one planned. Will see how things go from there.

#5 Now that my doll sewing has improved a bit, maybe really make some clothes for sale ... if I dare. --- Heh ... I don't think so, somehow ... not yet, anyway.

 

1) Get my 1st SD doll though I'm already starting to get some clothes/accessories for SD lol (I'm still deciding which one to choose between Migidoll Miho or Cho, or maybe only buying head from Migidoll and choose another body ahhh I don't know ! I hope I'll be sure of what I want really soon) HALF DONE I've actually bought a Ryun:R head from Switch haha totally changed my mind in the end !
2) Practice for face-up
3) Sew more clothes, but I never know what to sew...
4) Finally buy shoes for my MSD haha... DONE
5) Buy a body for my Ryun

I guess that's all ^^

 

My plan is to:

1) find a new head that will better fit this beautiful wig I found
2) keep working on making outfits
3) learn how to make my own wigs.

I'd like to learn how to make my own eyes as well but I'll save that for next year.

 

I have a couple of plans for this year.

1. Get a body for the soon-to-be-mine floating head
2. Get custom Ersaflora eyes for my dolls
3. Making a tiny outfit for Elvenia (that's going to be a challenge!)
4. Try and save up for a Souldoll Janne and/or a Dearmine Dorothy (maybe that's even more of a challenge xD..)
5. Commissioning my sister to make outfits that I designed myself for the DD's that are coming in
6. Designing the outfits I want to commission
7. Trying to do my own face-up
8. Get an awesome display cabinet for my dolls, so they'll be save from dust and my cats when I'm not playing with them

I think that will keep me occupied for quite some time.

 

I don't have too many plans.

- Save up for a Luts COCO.
- Keep practicing faceups.
- Find a resin match and body for my Nanuri head.

My plans:
1. Save up for grail SD girl (finally found one I actually really want, after 7 years searching omg yay! *so very picky -_-*)
2. Get more clothes/eyes/wigs is SD and Yo-SD size (I guess save up for this years DH fukubukuros...)
3. Sort through and sell Clothes/Eyes/Wigs I don't use anymore

1) Try to find dreamy: SOOM Dia-boy brown tan
2) finish make-ups for 2 of my dolls
3) try to take more photos
4) find money to bring home two lovely dolls that my friend reserved for me x))
5) try to make more outfits
6) finish my Thranduil handmade head and find body for him

 

I thought I'd put in a late-ish reply to try and hold myself accountable this year... I've been a little out of control lately.

1) Get some boy outfits so my boys look as nice as my girls!! It's embarrassing! (Update: Bought boy outfits. I just keep putting them on the girls!)
2) Get bodies for floating heads, I'm such a slacker when it comes to this. (Update: no update.)
3) Gomidoll boys: Find and purchase an Igon head, send I-Bi off for a faceup! (Update: no update.)
4) Dolly bath time for Esme and Ian! And restringing for Ringo. (Update: "Ian" no longer exists, he's destined to be a girl! But yes to a bath for Es, and restringing for Luna and Ringo.)
5) Figure out a new look for Dorothea, I am determined to bond with this doll no matter what it takes. (Update: Failed. T__T )
6) Buy outfits, not dolls! Especially wishlist outfits. (Updates: Bought outfits. Buying dolls.)
7) Camera practice with the new camera. xD (Update: in progress!)

6. Make Lilith some clothes
7. Buy a pair of shoes for Lilith, some eyes for Guen and Douglas, and maybe some fabric for clothes -on hold until summer
8. Buy my Iplehouse Douglas! -ORDERED! On Layaway! 3/4 payments complete
9. Buy the Iplehouse Witch Hunter set if it ever comes back in stock.... RECEIVED!
10. Have fun learning how to make my own BJD
11. Maybe finally paint my Doll Leaves Cat tiny...
12. MAYBE buy my Resinsoul minis that I wanted to get over a year ago.... XD not happening this year :/
13. Start saving for a minifee.... or two... or three... or seven XD will have to wait another year or two
14. Buy a camera so I can take pictures not happening this year :/
