What are you Doll Plans for 2014?

- finish all my doll's customization ( and I have a lot .. )
- get a cerisedolls, Ellana and milie choupie
- get a woodolls pandore

My plans for this year were to get my first yosd girl and that happened back in March. Now it is just to continue practicing my sewing and photography.

 

major goal: at least have saved up enough and have ordered Dolly #2 - Ella, an Iplehouse BID Erzulie. She doesn't have to arrive this year but it'd be super nice if I could save up enough to get her here that fast!

other goals are primarily costume based but:
- finally finish the damned elizabethan dress I've been making for weeks. I'm so sick of it!
- two more event outfits for Alena, namely 1) small steampunk themed outfit and 2) victorian dress. She comes with me to some of the events I trade at and looks pretty on my stall so I would like to have these done for her.
- make at least one outfit of Alena's REAL clothes rather than costumes! I want my baby as she should be!
- get Alena's hands swapped out for her new jointed hands! They've been ordered
- maybe redo Alena's faceup. I'm happy with it but theres a couple of small chips up near her ear and a very faint scratch in the sealing on her nose. I'd like to fix those but I don't have the heart to remove her current faceup!
- and lastly either do something with or sell/trade the Dollzone Pandora head I have floating around. She's ever so cute but she's an MSD, and I would prefer to stick with the SD scale now I've started with it.

 

This year I'd like to: build up a decent wardrobe for my girl, figure out her name, make some props and accessories, get brave enough to embellish her face up a bit and find the perfect eyes. Maaaaaaaaaaayyybe start looking at what bodies speak to me for a second doll. Possibly start considering a 1/3 and easing my husband into the idea, lol. Unfortunately we need to redo the floors and remodel the kitchen/guest bath, so that'll be taking up a chunk of my time this fall.

 

Since, once more, I miserably failed with "not get yet ANOTHER doll", I've decided to change my plans for 2014 to "Well, whatever. *shrug* Let's see what happens." XD

 

i'll be spending some money and more time with my dolls while i'm on vacation. i plan to sew more clothes, make some props and finish a face up.
by august i plan to go to a doll convention; have photoshoot of me and my dolls in kimonos/hakamas.

 

This year is for faceups, bodies, & clothes: I have too many floating heads (one is too many for me & atmo I have FIVE w/ another one on the way) so this year I wanna be able to body at least three of them. Half is a good goal, right?

Same thing goes for faceups - I have about as many dolls running around blank as bodiless - though obvsy some of the floating heads intersect w/ not having faces yet.

Clothes, because honestly there can never be too many clothes & I have a bigger differential in sizes now so there's less sharing possible. My littles have the most, so I'm focusing on MSD & SD stuff.

The only other thing I want is to finally construct my first room box. Gathered some materials, so it's a start anyway.

2. Finish my first doll's clothes [she is still pantless currently even though I've had her since June] -in progress.. 1 leg down, one to go!
3. Make her guns.
4. Redo her faceup.
5. Give Lilith a faceup!
6. Make Lilith some clothes
7. Buy a pair of shoes for Lilith, some eyes for Guen and Douglas, and maybe some fabric for clothes -on hold until summer
8. Buy my Iplehouse Douglas! -PAYMENT 4/4 [4-10-14]
9. Buy the Iplehouse Demon Hunter set, a pair of boots, and another wig for Douglas
10. Buy the Iplehouse Witch Hunter set if it ever comes back in stock.... RECEIVED!
11. Have fun learning how to make my own BJD
12. Maybe finally paint my Doll Leaves Cat tiny...
13. MAYBE buy my Resinsoul minis that I wanted to get over a year ago.... XD not happening this year :/
14. Start saving for a minifee.... or two... or three... or seven XD will have to wait another year or two
15. Buy a camera so I can take pictures not happening this year :/
16. Start Saving for Iplehouse EID Pamela in PG with custom faceup and stuffs for her!

 

My plan change drastically, from just modding my doll to become sculpting my own BJD
So this year, I hope I can make a really nice one, with great poseability and aesthetic, and cast it into resin.
This is going to take a lot of time and I don't think I have time for other hobby but I'm just too excited to sculpt~

3 x Delf Boy Body Type 4 for my event Heads only 1, 1 is done, Merlin is complete ^^ (JDF, he looks good with this body) and a SDF 4 for Keanu, i think its better as a Delf 4 for him

Much the same as Sandra2882, after paying off layaways then BODIES!
My plan is to try really hard to resist more doll purchases, knuckle down on saving and buy bodies for my IOS Class 70 heads, The Taker Boys - Abe (Chao) & Brahm (Jaguar) in New White. I have finally decided on the perfect bodies for my boys, having developed a definite mighty need for Doll Chateau's gorgeous hyper-jointed 72cm boy's body (their WS being a great match for IOS' New White as it is, and stylistically I just adore this body and could see it working beautifully with my IOS boys' heads) it really works out well that this body should work brilliantly for what I have in mind for my twin brothers here (very roughly based on a kind of AU version of Yana Toboso's / Kuroshitsuji's Undertaker...if his personality was to be split into 2 definitive opposing characters, that is ^^).

 

Well, I've liked bjds since around December in 2013 and i knew straight away i wanted to get myself one. So without further ado:
-Buy a MNF, i decided on a chloe for my first ever bjd --- WAITING --- Ordered 2nd Feb
-Buy a head to practice face-ups --- BOUGHT
-Buy MNF Mir full set - Saving
-Make/sew and buy lots of clothes

Thats about it for now! I'm hoping to buy my MNF Mir in august if i can get the money together fast enough c:

 

I'm currently saving to get my floating head a body, hopefully during the summer event LUTS is running right now, and I want to potentially get a Leeke art body girl with the huge head. I also have to practice more on my sewing and faceup skills, so all of my dolls are being repainted on a semi-regular basis these days while I settle into a style. I'd like to get some new wigs and eyes, too.

 

1. Get a sewing machine and start learning to sew.
2. Get all at-home dolls Halloween costumes.
3. Get all at-home dolls Christmas outfits.
4. Get Arria at least one pair of shoes.
5. Get Mercutio his first proper outfit.
6. Locate a friend or boyfriend for Kit Kat.
7. Order Iplehouse Eric. A-S David stole my heart, so he's coming home first. Sorry, Eric!
8. Make my first doll diorama.
9. Do my first photostory.
10. Get Kit Kat a chair.
11. Get Mercutio a new wig.
12. Get eyes and wig for Akemi, my incoming LoongSoul girl.

 

I hope to get my first BJD... but can't decide on a limhwa half elf or a supia doll muse... Love them both... I saved almost half of what I need to buy either. So my lovelys soon ^.^

My doll plans (or resolutions???)

1) Get my doll wigs, clothes and shoes organized so I don't buy duplicates. (This happens with wigs & patterns.) My tastes are consistant so sometimes I will buy a dup ... (silly me)
2) Organize my fabrics and doll patterns so I can do something cosntructive with them. I have more than I will ever use
3) Love what I have and play with them. I actually fell over into the vinyl world on a particular doll. I had vowed I was done with vinyl but alas a pretty face & story line got to me. I need to concentrate on my IH dolls, especially my Erzulie and Elin (Who is in Milwaukee, but needs to be picked up)
4) Sell the items I won't use. I keep collecting more and nothing leaves the island. Since I have a small space this is not good.
5) Stop haunting ebay for more special items for my dolls
6) Create more stories lines for my precious dolls

How's that for a start?

 

Like everyone else here, I have big plans....

1) Try to be happy with what I have, although if Iplehouse has another Christmas Event, I will probably order someone
2) Make a special outfit for all my dolls that don't have one yet;
- Pink Rococo gown for Butterfly Narae
- Matching outfit for Narin
- Medieval gowns for Leona & Soa
- Elven Warrior outfit for Soa
- Fairy outfits for KW Cinnamon and Tillie
- Modern outfits for KW Cinnamon & Tillie
- Hallowe'en costumes for anyone who didn't get one last year
- make some clothes for my tiny Manuna Mice and Toad by Whispering Grass
3) Something I never thought I'd want to do - make 'modern' clothes for some of my dolls
4) Take a group of dolls in modern outdoors-type outfits along on our fall road trip and take photos of them everywhere.
5) Repaint my Dining Room and Office, and redo the Office doll cabinet lighting so my BJDs can be put on display in it.

Big dreams, but I'll be lucky if I get a third of it done.

 

Mine consist of wanting to:

1: Finish buying my migdoll boys. Need an Ell and Miho to complete I and GF's little project. :3

2: Do face-ups for all my poor dollies that still remain blank. I'm still practicing so I haven't dared touch them with pastel dust or water color pencil ><

3: Replace the horns on Toru, my part goat boy (resinsoul Ming). My ex tossed one because he thought it was trash. Uh, that was when we were still together and he ran my life. We aren't now. XD

4: Buy more clothing, wigs, for my dollies and learn to sew.

Other things might arise as I go through the year here. I know I also rally want to get two Iplhouse boys sometime. Actually there are quite a few I want, but the main two are Eric and Felix.

 

Mods, mods mods!

There are so many I have to do...

* My Mini Machina, once she comes, will need to be partially dyed, perhaps some lines sanded and moved, restrung with the black elastic I got, have her helmet details added, painted, sealed... eep.
* Since Alicestor finally got his body, I need to sand the boobs off. Maybe do some more aesthetic sanding, as well as a mani-pedi.
* Chase needs a new faceup. Perhaps dye his body to better match his head?
* CeeCee should really be restrung.

* Wigs have to be trimmed and styled.
* I also want to get some more casual mix and match clothes for my SD-Size dolls.
* Need to finish modifying the Blythe stockings I bought for my Pukifee.

* I would love to get a DHS Feilene at some point...
* Keep looking for at least a head sculpt that suits Gabri.
* Get my first doll a new head and hands.
