What are you Doll Plans for 2014?

Well my goals so far included:
1.Buying more doll clothes , which I have done (ordered a big load from nine9style in spring , also just placed another pretty big order from alice's collections) . Though I am still not done with this one , but I don't think i'll ever be xD.still, I am satisfied.
2. Bring home another doll: done , just bought a Minisup Yisol from the Mo and she should arrive soon.
3. Practice face ups on my first doll : will do as soon as sealant arrives (-:.
4. Fid a fave up artist I like and send my Crobidoll Nia off to get his face done :found , but I didn't get a chance to get a slot , maybe next time,hopefully soon !
5. Get proper tools and try restringing.
6. Customize the Yisol in to a Yolandi Vi$$er ( singer) : ordered proper eyes and lashes , in character clothes , and I have a wig I think might work with some trimming and styling .
7. FINALLY order my grail doll , Crobidoll Yeon-ho with custom face up by Crobidoll for X-mas (or maybe type b , we will see)! I hope I will be abel to afford him by then , cause I already purchased a wig and shoes for him so he can be in character as soon as he arrives :-).

Forgot to mention : 8. Get & make more props and improve my photography : did , but it's a never ending process .

 

I don't have anymore doll plans for this year but I have done ALOT I sold my first and second doll and got my 3rd 4th and 5th it is a lot and im quite surprised about it I started a business this year so I have the cash to fund my addiction lol

 

To finally be rid of my doll's company face up and do my own.

 

Well, wasn't expecting to get 2 more dolls this year. waiting on my Rhiea and NF event dolls, then Fairyland came out with a MNF Soony Elf so ordered her a body too! Along with other items, but enough to get her!

 

Didn't have any doll plans for the year at first, but it didn't take long either before plans made themselves. Actually, that is how things usually turn out.

Currently I'm working on completing my first SD-sized doll, a La Legende De Temps Roderich. I bought his body recently (a Volks SD13, long-legged version) and am currently settling a layaway for his head. So, this also means clothes, wigs and shoes for the new boy.

 

I've completely blown the doll plans I posted earlier this year and thought confession might be good for the soul. I bought two unplanned dolls at the doll convention here (ooh look, bright and shiny!) and then came home and bought a doll I promised myself I would never buy under any circumstances because of the price. Oh well...there's always next year. Kudos to those who have managed to stay on track.

 

I'm actually rather proud of myself. For the most part, I've been hitting a lot on my list--I just need to find where I put it. -.- I have my grail doll home, I am slowing down on resin purchases, and trying to expand my skills in both photography and sewing. My grail dolls are both home. I unexpectedly completed two more dolls that were previously floating heads. And I think everyone has at least one outfit. It's kinda cool. XD

 

Since this came back, I'mma update mine.

So this isn't as bad as I imagined it to be....

1. FAIL I tried and it didn't work. I lost interest for a while and then gave up. Might try this again next year with a different sculpt...
2. For the life of me I can't remember the other doll who's body needed to be bought - but the other other one was a DT Elf body for my DM Leibe Klum head. GOT IT! YAY! One down.
3. Another FAIL. Not only did I not get this doll, I've removed her from my WL and have gotten rid of three others in this group >.< I only plan on replacing one of them. And possibly the head of another....possibly.
4. WIN! Marcus became a Migidoll Ell. So far I'm good with him....we'll see if that lasts.
5. Huge fail. I actually got Jubilee. She's no longer with me - her body belongs to someone else now XD
6. I consider this a huge win. Earlier in the year I actually outlined every doll and what they needed done to them. I have been working like a cray on them and some stuff has gotten done
7. Yeah no. This didn't happen at all.
8. I did do this!
Unfortunately several of them simply made way for others...

My new goals for this year:
Do the stuff on this list!!!!

But this stuff first –
1.Tattoo and blush Alex III
2. Finish the head I'm modding
3. Mod the second head because I'm sure I'll mess up the first one.
4. Get all of David's heads faceuped
5. Figure out how to fix Alex 2.5
6. Get a face up on the new Boo (head has shipped)
7. Decide which head makes a better Gambit (after he's shipped - I need to see it with Jean first)
8. Start working on the new Kara Klum (after I get him in Sept) which will be a huge job for me (hence my getting rid of other projects currently unfinished)
9. replace Mini-Isis
10. No more dolls (other than the one's I've got on order and possibly Mini-Isis since she's a reshell)

I'm expecting a Dollzone Carter (ordered in Feb. They slow.) so if he ever gets here his customs get shoved in there somewhere as well. SIGH. At least I can't say I have nothing to do...

 

Haha! I have a huge list like everyone else

1. Sell off my anthros, as I prefer human dolls right now.
2. Blush my new Soom Feny, name her, and find the perfect eyes for her
3. Sew for all of my dolls - they're in bare bones outfits. Leggings, romantic mori clothes, headband, hats, undergarments
4. Learn how to make doll shoes and jewelry
5. Take more photoshoots
6. Make my own clothing patterns :3

 

I want to finally get a boy doll and start sewing again :3

 

Update: I consider the first part to be successful. I did not buy a Xavier, as I found a different doll that would work better for my character and purchased him instead (Iplehouse Eric). I have made several clothes purchases, and most of my dolls are set for clothes. The bodies... not so much. Soom has thrown me off this year with their SOs, and I have been spending most of my time and money working on them (4 unplanned Sooms in less than a year, ouch). New goals to finish out the year:

1. Finish Beej's body blushing.
2. Finish my Soom Heliot Dream Ripper layaway (2/4 payments completed so far). Should be a given, but it always feels good to pay something off~
3. Commission faceup for Heliot when he arrives.
4. Commission faceup for Ender (in progress).

Should be doable!

 

After being out of the hobby for two years...my goal is to get back into it! Also...I want to get my toes wet and see if I can sell some BJD sized jewelry. I already make human-size...so how difficult can it be?

 

1. Get a sewing machine and start learning to sew.
2. Get all at-home dolls Halloween costumes. Totally not happening.
3. Get all at-home dolls Christmas outfits. Totally not happening.
4. Get Arria at least one pair of shoes.
5. Get Mercutio his first proper outfit.
6. Locate a friend or boyfriend for Kit Kat. Done!
7. Order my Migidoll boys.
8. Make my first doll diorama.
9. Do my first photostory.
10. Get Kit Kat a chair.
11. Get Mercutio a new wig.
12. Get eyes and wig for Akemi, my incoming LoongSoul girl. Done!
13. Make a fairy garden with house for the tinies.
14. Clean off the old computer desk to use for dolly photos. Done!
15. Start writing the dolls' stories and shaping their universe.
16. Start a blog to house my stories. Done!

 

My doll plans for 2014...hmmm...my goals for this year are actually just to spoil my very first girl rotten and actually get her a wig and eyes that suit her personality. I'll see where I go from there but I've been eyeing bigger dolls recently so perhaps a big sister if I find the funding?

 

I want to deceide before 2014 ends with what doll I would like to extend my dollfamily in 2015... But there are too many choices!! I think it will be a MNF... But wich one?!

Being my last year in uni I had no intention to get any more dolls but rather just have fun sewing for them and make a few outfits I was really happy with when I had the time. Turns out now that my parents spoilt me and got me one for my 21st that is coming up and I've recently put two SD boys on layaway to be my first and only twins.
so going from 0 dolls planned to 3 ^^"

1. Pay off QingLi
2. Decide on a new boy and put down payment on him - can't happen this year but I did pick out a boy
3. Buy Iracebeth shoes - DONE
4. Buy everyone at least one wig so I won't have to stare at bald heads all day - DONE
5. Buy red head wig for Madeline (Michelle doll)
6. Put away all doll stuff not in use in boxes instead of being a bum - DONE
7. Make ChenXing a dress - DONE
8. Buy ChenXing a dress
9. Buy QingLi a dress, eyes and wig before her arrival next year
10. Decide on a color for QingLi's fantasy parts
11. Finish Catherine's skirt and buy pieces I can't make
12. Buy Catherine shoes
13. Get ChenXing high heel feet - can't happen this year
14. Doll stands for everyone - can't happen this year
15. Addition: If I somehow have $130 in November then put a down payment on Salome (instead of a boy)

So in order words...I have a lot of stuff to do!
