    2. 11/11 UPDATE!!! - OMG >< My main overall goal? Survive (financially) IH's Carved Heritage series! Okay doing not bad, Not getting Scarlet and hopefully the next one also I should be okay. Right now it's a matter of sorting out clothing orders... which could be almost as bad as a doll order lol. oops :sweat I am hoping to snag a 'Scarlet' outfit though.

      Okay, my actual plans for the year!

      1. Learn to restring! Awkward attempt and Jessica's head is a tad tight now but the 'learning' has begun
      2. Buy proper tools to restring.DONE! got the clamps! from Neep!
      3. Pay off my Chiron centaur and bring him home! DONE!
      4. Send his and the human head I also snagged this year 'back' to Soul Doll to get matched face ups (Amending: Keeping Centaur face up... I like it ^^.) Not happening... too much other stuff needs money first
      5. Buy camera accessories (namely a tripod and light reflectors).On hold until I replace the stolen camera
      6. BRING HOME IH DEXTER! DONE!! ^^ arrived home May 6th
      7. Find safe place for Soul Doll Chiron centaur to live O_o. (may require a case?) On hold untill I can restring him so he stands free.
      8. Get IH nYID... Bliss ("Carved Heritage".) full setDONE - home as of 07/21 with 'some' of the hunter outfits
      9. Get Enyu's 'house' out of storage and set it up (got a ton of stuff to put in already) -> On hold
      10. Try and get Iple's newest outfits before they disappear! also the stuff with the new theme sets (The Lady Collection) - important items aquired! only second choice line items left from Hunter AND Ladies Collectione New set as of 08/06 "The Misty Collection" ; 2014 Halloween collection ; '14 Winter Party Collection! ;
      11. Try out a couple of doll stands for BIG dolls (stop being paranoid about wasting the money ><) Angel Soul and Loong Soul look like good candidates Need to do more research on stands I think
      12. Get RE-reading E.B.'s books so I can plot out character descriptions and decided costume details (not just 'the black dress' LOL). - Done primary books! now I can work on specific 'design details for when I can get a commission done! ^^
      13. Find out where to commission Enyu's clothes! - Done - I have plenty to work with with Ken doll stuff. I may in future obtain spare to 'cut down'. Commission work not required ^^
      14. A Doll A Day photo challenge. (June) This for me is one I will have to work at to get all 30 as I am struggling with my blood pressure/migraines/stress right now and can loose a day or more when it gets dangerous -_-. I almost missed today (day 2 ><). I hope this will help with my camera skills? DONE! I actually stuck it out and completed it successfully! ^^
      15. Replace stolen camera... I can't stand not having one now. DONE! Had to upgrade to the new model & it's just enough better I love it! ^^

      Ongoing projects.
      1. Sort and tidy up doll wardrobe... ongoing process ><. But needing new 'game plan' of where to put stuff. - new decorative cases bought! Continual WIP much reorganizing with CH serries stuff coming in lol
      2. Get sewing corner 'usable'. - tested machine decided it needs recondition before any 'real' sewing projects (will still try 'test' sewing on scraps?) - Done for now. It's minor-ly usable at least (even fixed my pillows!)
      3a. Try out sundress 'test' pattern. - maybe in 2016???
      3b. See if 'in home lessons' are possible? Never ... could not afford it.

      PIPE-DREAMS! - for when I win a lotto or??? <- the 'or' is apparently get hijacked by IH's theme tailored for just what I need. ><
      *depending on what shows up this new theme set could force the core doll set to come home faster and earlier than planned - EID couple, SID man, nYIDx1 & a super long range planned KID ordered.
      1. 2nd & 3rd full nYID girls (the Langley girls) not until after IH's CH series is done.
      2. SID woman (Grace?)

    9. Since I'm fairly sure there won't be much movement on the hobby front between now and the end of the year, here's my (pre-)analysis.


      #1 Find alternative materials for eye-making. The smaller sizes look perfect with the materials I have, but the larger (12mm+) ones still have some room for improvement. --- Pretty much achieved - not exactly new materials, but better technique. Results have definitely improved, so to me this counts.

      #2 Make more wigs. Maybe use some different materials / techniques here as well. --- Done! Made a couple different styles, all of which I'm happy with. :) No more wig-buying, unless it's an unbeatable price and / or an exceptionally hard-to-make style.

      #2b. In the process of #2, get better at making wigs. --- Progress happened. There's obviously still room for further improvement, but I said "get better", not "become perfect".

      #3 Learn moar crafts! And work on the ones I picked up this year. (More specifically, polymer clay stuffs and the like ... also, furniture.) --- Kinda sorta? No furniture, though. This will stay on the list for 2015.

      #4 Continued from this year's plans - get as many of the main crew home as possible. --- I may be able to at least order one more this year, but I'm not done. Another thing to keep on the list for next year ... then again, I wasn't planning on getting all of them this year and I did get one full doll and two heads (which were supposed to be sharing bodies with others anyway), so I count this one, too.

      #5 Now that my doll sewing has improved a bit, maybe really make some clothes for sale ... if I dare. :sweat --- Uh ... yeah. No. Not enough time, not enough routine, not enough pretty. Not going to happen. :sigh

    10. My dolly plans this year are underway. I ordered a SQlabs body and two heads. I have ordered clothes and everything I need for when I un box her.
      I have quite a wait but i am very excited! i have a friend who will be willing to let me use her faceup supplies if I haven't bought any yet! that will be happing as soon as i can after she gets here! I am very excited. I would also love to purchase an aileen doll dragon, and i would like to purchase a yo-sd this year <3

    12. Not much time left in 2014, but I'd like to make some nightclothes for some of my kids for Christmas pictures. And design some winter coats so they'll be warmer in the snow. And if the new JID and BID hinted at by Iplehouse turn out to be amazing, then I'll order them both.

    13. With so little time left in 2014, I have to admit I had no doll plans, except to not buy any more dolls. My collection is quite full.

      But, with companies announcing that certain sculpts were being discontinued, I landed up buying dolls I had always loved, but thought I'd always have the chance to buy later. When you know that a sculpt is going away forever, it kind of lights a fire under you to get it while you can. An example of this was IOS' Blood. I love that broody face. And, he had been on my Wish List for ages.

      So, I got a few dolls I hadn't planned on. I can't feel too guilty about it. Im finding that a claim of "discontinuation" is an excellent excuse to justify buying a doll! ("Like you need an excuse," my dear husband quips.:roll:)

      1. Buy my Soom Rosette School Fir in January -ARRIVED!
      2. Finish my first doll's clothes [she is still pantless currently even though I've had her since June 2013] -in progress.. 1 leg down, one to go!
      3. Make her guns.
      4. Redo her faceup.
      5. Give Lilith a faceup! -DONE!
      6. Make Lilith some clothes -in progress... finished the corset...need to finish other pieces
      7. Buy a pair of shoes for Lilith, some eyes for Guen and Henry, and maybe some fabric for clothes -on hold Getting Makos for Henry
      8. Buy my Iplehouse Douglas! -ARRIVED! :D
      9. Buy the Iplehouse Demon Hunter set, two pair of boots, & wig (getting wig later) -DONE! ARRIVED!
      10. Buy the Iplehouse Witch Hunter set if it ever comes back in stock.... RECEIVED!
      11. Have fun learning how to make my own BJD
      12. Maybe finally paint my Doll Leaves Cat tiny...
      13. MAYBE buy my Resinsoul minis that I wanted to get over a year ago.... XD not happening this year :/
      14. Start saving for a minifee.... or two... or three... or seven XD will have to wait another year or two
      15. Buy a camera so I can take pictures not happening this year :/
      16. Start Saving for Iplehouse EID Pamela in PG with custom faceup and stuffs for her!

    17. Update: My Saint heads are in the US and on their way home. Shortly, I will know if they match the doll bodies I already have.
      I have been making clothes for my MSDs and SDs.

    18. I bought four unplanned dolls this year. One was my only limited fullset, two were available with an in-stock in America wait time, and the last is a limited "special" doll of Dollzone's. I've been making them clothes as planned but still have no face-up supplies.

      3. Make characters for both my dolls
      4. Repaint both my dolls
      5. Start sewing again
      6. Get a carrying case!
      7. Figure out how to make some damn pants for a boy with Chrom (fantasy) feet

    20. Happily I've completed my list for this year.:)

      1. While shocking, I came to realize that my story had come to an end and she was the finale. No other BJDs were needed to represent that specific story. I'm at peace with my decision now.
      2. Done!
      3. Decision made...I believe she's perfect as she is for her character, so I won't be adding anymore artwork or coloring to her.
      4. Done!
      5. My gaming companion, Sugar, has been successfully re-shelled. Her new form (Luts Kid Delf Darae) will be here around the beginning of the new year.
