    1. Can't believe how fast the year has gone by I still have 3 things on my list 2 of them are on hold and one I just need to put together since I already took the photo's.

      1. re-do my dolls face-ups
      2. buy/make new clothes for my dolls
      3. attach Aqua's new fantasty wings and ears (still deciding if I should do some mod and sand of his human ears) sorta I removed his human ears and attached the fantasy ears but i'm still desciding on the wings
      4. find the right mold and buy it as Rontu's head also bought body
      5.buy white junkyspot freyer anthro-cat
      6. sand seam lines on all dolls
      7. continue writing backstories of my doll characters
      8. draw more of my dolls characters
      9. finish the photo-story projects that I started last year and
      10. make more BjdAddicts video's on youtube as well as keep my doll blog updated

    3. Well... Need to update this:

      Found my first little lady and a few others to add to the family:

      (ordered) 1/4 DikaDoll AAAAA (not so much mature as just darn cute).
      (ordered) 1/6 ImplDoll Tan Vampire Baby Ives
      (ordered) 1/6 Doll Legend Parado
      (ordered) a few pairs of shoes for MSD, SD and Tiny sizes

      This is the most I've ever ordered at once, but ... a soul only lives for so long...

    4. Now that the year is almost over, I'll have a look at the to-do list I made a year ago and see what I've accomplished (or not)! My plans were pretty modest, but I'm glad I managed to fulfill most of them.


      1. Purchase a BlueFairy TF Emilie boy and more BF shoes.
      This will have to be rolled over for the new year. I filled my doll allotment for this year with the surprise BS Kyle (see below), so he'll have to wait! But I do have five pairs of BF shoes now in possession, haha.

      2. Keep an eye out for a BlueFairy Baked Skin Kyle or Louis Dandy boy (same as last year) .
      I finally got hold of a Baked Skin Kyle Dandy boy this year!

      3. Purchase and try at least one pair of Enchanted Doll eyes.
      I didn't get E-D, but I tried Makoeyes instead! Urethane is where it's at! So glad I took the plunge.

      4. Do a Nine9Style clothing splurge.
      I still want lots of Nine9 things, but I picked up a lot in a layaway with FF&D.

      5. Sew, embroider and pattern at least one full Korean hanbok outfit.
      OTZ I failed... I guess I still have time left, but it's pretty disappointing, haha. I did make a pattern for a hanbok jeogori (jacket), but it ended up too small and I couldn't figure out the lining and gave up. THIS IS A DREAM OF MINE, so I'm going to have to try again in the new year too!

      7. Create or purchase some doll furniture (chair/sofa, shelves, clothing rack, etc.).
      I fulfilled this backwards and forwards this year, haha. I bought a clothing rack, bookshelf, wardrobe, table/display... thing, full-body mirror, and body mannequin pincushion. Plus I made a shoe rack! Now I'm in serious need of some seats... stools, most likely, but I'd like a couch, bench, and 4-6 set of chairs too one day.

      8. Redo all my doll's faceups at least once.
      I guess I managed it, but I hope I can redo them one more time before the year actually ends... Four out of five of them really need it.

      9. Photograph my dolls more.
      I could have fulfilled this better, but I did take a few nice pictures, so... I'll say it's sort of fulfilled.

      10. Sell my Chicline Rou and as many of my other unwanted doll things as possible.
      Yay, I sold him and lots of stuff at the time back then, but now I have all-new stuff I need to sell!

    11. Getting towards the end of the year, and I'm happy I kept it simple. I did well on my goals, I think... Except for #1 maybe, but that's because this year was so doll crazy.

      1. Is mostly done, but also starting all over again. Especially bodies, I have a mighty need for bodies for new floating heads and folks whose bodies have been swapped around or sold.
      2. Definitely done well on this one. Invented new characters too. I can calm down a bit next year ;)
      3. Yes! 2014 has been a year for writing so far. As expected, this is thanks to #2!
      4. I did get more stuff, but then more dolls, so it mostly got spread a little thinner than I'd hoped. Oh well... Maybe next year?

    12. FOR THE LIST NEWBIES

      Since I have seen so many 'new to this list' and 'new to DoA' ppl join this list there is something you should know ^^. This it the 2014 plans list... About the last week of December a 2015 list will be made. And about 2 weeks after the end of the year THIS thread will be 'locked/closed'. (I think ppl need a couple of weeks to 'update' how they did during the year sometimes ;p). So just remember you won't be updating 2015 stuff in here... Yes there will be a link to the new thread.

      this list can actually be quite helpful for you! If you suck at keeping on track of projects (like me) this is a great way to track you progress (or lack of?). You can also see what messes up plans (insane awesome series of dolls with bad timing ><) so you can plan you next year accordingly.

      The main thing is be prepared that this thread is going to close and if you want to track your plans you will need to remember to watch and move to the new thread when it starts.... and no... no cheating by starting your plans for next year... this year!;) (Besides, you will just have to relocate the list anyhow lol).

      Wennie's post just before this is a great example of how this should work ;p and the way to format your list and updates is up to you (what ever works best for you). Personally I stole The Raven's list style...mostly ;p

    13. Updated my small goal list for the last 2 months of the year :)

      1. Have doll arrive. Done on Halloween no less
      2. Only buy one more clothing related item for her. Updated: no more doll related purchases this year.
      3. Figure out which shoes I absolutely need for her, then purchase them. Done and waiting on them to arrive
      4. Go to my first doll meet and somehow manage to not embarrass myself or annoy anyone. Also preferably not hide in a corner being too scared/shy to really talk to anyone. Not Yet There's still one more meet this year. I sort of worked myself up into a bundle of nerves, made myself sick and missed the one in November I was aiming for. Oops. *_* Buuut still another chance to try! *hopeful face*

    14. Let's see how it's shaping up toward the end of the year... Thanks to the end of the semester, I probably won't get much more done, though I'm crossing my fingers on a little more blushing and clothing work!

      Definite
      * Work on some clothing patterns -- three done, more to come!
      * Work on some actual clothing -- eternally in progress!
      * Do faceup/blushing/mod work on Jace (WD Kyle) -- COMPLETE!
      * Do blushing/mod work on Edward (MNF A-Line body, LTF) -- in progress, it's going to take at least the next year too...
      * Finish Cetewind (RS Bei) -- probably not going to get done this year
      * Get the "proper outfits" underway for the character dolls -- eternally in progress!

      Hopeful
      * Finish Instar (RS Bao) -- definitely not happening this year
      * Do faceup/blushing/mod work on the incoming LTF Horde -- One done, one underway
      * Get Ed's new head and get that blushed -- COMPLETE!
      * Order the remaining LTF Horde, or another bigger doll -- 75% complete, one LTF left to get!

      Long Shot
      * Finally find a couple of (moderately affordable) 50 cm-ish bodies for my cat girls. -- They might get Soom bodies next year, depending on releases and finances.

    15. I start started saving up for the Tender Twins set from DoD! Hopefully I'll get them ordered by around Christmas. ^_^

      Other than that, I plan on making more clothes for my current boys, and gather the things I need for my twins. Get more photos of them [and in general play with them more]. And maybe do a layaway for another doll.

And just few days ago I have received Saber Alter head! :aheartbea She's been my dream girl for a year, if not more. And, of course, I got lots of stuff for my BJDs, too.     20. 11/27 UPDATE!!! - OMG >< My main overall goal? Survive (financially) IH's Carved Heritage series! (I think I made it)
      Okay last doll is declared and meh... he's okay as a 'maybe' one day... but I think I want his outfit! Maybe not the weapons? Preview seemed s-punk... anywho.... My little KID PEACH has ARRIVED! (12/2) This also means my Lawrence uniform set too! I snapped up the gorgeous 'Gardenia' dress tonight too at the reduced price and popped a few more goodies in the basket too XD.

      Okay, my actual plans for the year!

      1. Learn to restring! Awkward attempt and Jessica's head is a tad tight now but the 'learning' has begun
      2. Buy proper tools to restring.DONE!
      3. Pay off my Chiron centaur and bring him home! DONE!
      4. Send his and the human head 'back' to Soul Doll to get matched face ups changed mind... keeping centaur face and holding off on human head
      5. Buy camera accessories (namely a tripod.DONE!
      6. BRING HOME IH DEXTER! DONE!! ^^ arrived home May 6th
      7. Find safe place for Soul Doll Chiron centaur to live O_o. (may require a case?) On hold
      8. Get IH nYID... Bliss ("Carved Heritage".) full setDONE
      9. Get Enyu's 'house' out of storage and set it up (got a ton of stuff to put in already) -> On hold
      10.       12. Get RE-reading E.B.'s books so I can plot out character descriptions and decided costume details. - Done
      13. Find out where to commission Enyu's clothes! - Done able to use Ken doll outfits
      14. A Doll A Day photo challenge. (June) DONE!
      15. Replace stolen camera... I can't stand not having one now. DONE! Had to upgrade to the new model & it's just enough better I love it! ^^

      Ongoing projects.
      1. Sort and tidy up doll wardrobe... ongoing process ><. But needing new 'game plan' of where to put stuff. - new decorative cases bought! Continual WIP getting sorted fairly well now...
      2. Get sewing corner 'usable'. - tested machine decided it needs recondition before any 'real' sewing projects (will still try 'test' sewing on scraps?) - Done for now. It's minor-ly usable at least (even fixed my pillows!)
      3a. Try out sundress 'test' pattern. - maybe in 2016???
      3b. See if 'in home lessons' are possible? Never ... could not afford it.

      PIPE-DREAMS! - for when I win a lotto or??? <- the 'or' is apparently get hijacked by IH's theme tailored for just what I need. ><
      *depending on what shows up this new theme set could force the core doll set to come home faster and earlier than planned - EID couple, SID man, nYIDx1 & a super long range planned KID.
      1. 2nd & 3rd full nYID girls (the Langley girls) next year I think a body for my floating head?
      2. SID woman (Grace?)
      3. 2nd EID man OR a SID maybe? unfortunately looking more than possible >< SID Edan! is home!
