1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What are you Doll Plans for 2014?

Nov 24, 2013

    1. I want to slow down too

      1) maybe XD It's been on my mind lately that at least three dolls in my group can go to new homes.
      2) learn to sew better
      3) get all my blank dolls with face-ups
      4) take more photos of them and practice posing them

    2. Hmm, I plan to...

      1. Buy two or three wigs, two of them from Licht
      2. Buy two or three pair of eyes as well
      3. Start filling up the wardrobe with shoes, shirts, and a sweater/jacket/hoodie
      4. Get a tattoo and blush for my Delf Boy's body
      5. Buy a camera to get some good shots

:) I've just started doing this hobby, and I'm glad i have things i plan and want for my first bjd

    3. My plans right now are
      1. Finish my Real Puki's house
      2. Keep sewing clothes
      3. Make more furniture
      4. Save for a Pipos frog
      5. Get part time job for doll money
      6. Maybe buy a Soom Mini Gem Fairy- depends what they make

    4. update 12/5/2013

I need to slow down, too. This holiday season has been really bad for me this year. Too many great dolls, I'm really in over my head in doll debt :sweat

I'd also like to focus on dolls I already have. One of my girls is in a sock dress with no hair :doh

    5. Right now I plan to...

      - make a lot of clothes and accessory!
      - at least start to shell my OC Junko ♥ head and body are decided, now I just need to buy them! Hope to do it next year ~~

    6. With all the events going on, im more concerned about the period between now and the end of the year!

    7. Well, some of my major plans I had for 2014 got finished during the last days (I had some great chances to get planned dolls which I couldn't resist or wait)
But I still got some plans left:

      1) finish my Anime boy plans (SQlab Kirie and Tsubaki)
      2) order another AngelBattle tiny skeleton
      3) order Simply Divine Christopher head
      4) stop buying too many new dolls
      5) buy more outfits for my dolls
      6) take more and better pictures

    8. * Redo some face-ups.
      * Finally finish Colin, that poor guy. I really am more of a girl doll person, but I will get motivated to finish him. Or sell him.
      * Sell that huge AoD YS male body that's been in the closet never used for three years.
      * Pick one doll to add to collection. ( Birthday/Christmas present)
      * maybe get the incoming Beetta head her own body. Maybe. She'll probably just share Morphoa's though.

    9. My plans always stray but:

      Finish paying off my raspberries!
Get a body for my floating MNF Shiwoo
Sell off a doll or two that i don't do anything with
Maybe cave into commissioning a face up for my Keid ( I always just do my own)
Start saving for or actually get an Iplehouse YID girl
Sew outfits that are actually for my own doll! so many naked dolls sitting around.

    10. I'm still waiting for the first doll I ordered. I'm hoping she'll arrive before the new year, but there's no guarantee. If she shows up in January, I'll probably be obsessing over her the whole month long!

But I've also got my heart set on a DOC from Dream of Doll. So I'll begin saving up for her. She's meant to be a companion for the girl I've got on the way from Withdoll. They're two important characters in my story. I like to plan out my dolls completely before I buy, so I've been drawing up budgets for potential clothes, a face up, and props.

And I recently developed a fondness for the creepy-cute Faramita from Doll Chateau. It's low on my doll priority list, but it's so cute. And my girls could use an imp demon dog friend.

    11. My doll plans are pretty simple:
Learn to work with what I have. We just bought a house, so spending lots of money on a hobby is out of the question. That being said, I already have plenty of supplies so my RS Ya can get a new faceup and Mr. Handsome can finally have his faceup and body blush. (I have had him since March and he's barely been out of his box--I've just been too busy). I have a huge fabric stash, and a great craft room in the new place, so I can make new outfits for both of them. I also have a great camera--which I bought over a year ago--that I still haven't really mastered. With everything I've already got, it seems kind of wasteful to go out and buy more clothes or accessories or whatever.

    12. My plans for 2014 are:
Get a boy for my slim minis.
Pay off my Bill Me Later bill, all doll stuff on there.
      Sell a few more dolls.
      Learn to string.
And concentrate on my sewing which I've sadly neglected for the last several years. Life got in the way.
Other than my boy, I hope to stick to my plan to not buy anymore dolls.
Oh, almost forgot, get a few more backdrops for photos.

    13. My plans for 2014 as of right now (which are totally subject to change cause I know myself too well):

      - Have an average amount of at least 10 Face Up commissions each month!
      - Learn how to make Alpaca or Mohair wigs for my doll (should have her by January!)
      - Make a whole wardrobe of clothes for said doll.

Not a long list...but definitely crafty and something to look forward to!

    14. 2013's list wasn't too bad, did mostly everything. So for 2014 I want to:

      1) Send Cain away for a faceup, he's 6 years old I want him updated
      2) Buy new clothes for Cain to revamp his style (mostly done, need a few more items)
      3) Buy new Urethane eyes for Cain and Blaize
      4) Send Blaize away for a faceup and get his eyes bevelled
      5) Perhaps update Tyler's faceup
      6) *Get a body for Lucille* *she will get an upgrade to her body at some point*
      7) Get Lucille's eyes opened and re-faceup
      8) Buy Eiri's new suit and new clothing
      9) Clothe the rest of the boys clothed most of them! Just got Zen and maybe Blaize left.

      and depending on circumstances:

      10) Buy Vivian a body

Overall 2014 is another year to perfect the lot of them. I would add photos and sewing but... we'll see, I don't tend to stick to those plans. I'm not looking to add another doll in my collection but we'll see what the future holds?

24/01/14 update: * crossed off a few things off the list already. Only change is that I no longer want Lucille's eyes opened and she needs an upgrade to her body at some point. Plenty of time to do the other things on the list though.

02/05/14 update: * Have done most things. I bought and sold a few heads. I have bought new clothes for 8 out of 10 dolls. Looks like most plans are in order this year.

    15. 1) Restring and hot glue suede Ichiro... He's almost eight years old and can't hold a pose anymore. xP
      2) Update some face-ups
      3) Buy more clothes for MSD & Pukifee
      4) Paint Pongpong and Millie Choupie whenever they arrive
      5) Hopefully buy an Iplehouse RS Claude and Soom tan Dia
      6) Keep hunting for Lorina and Williams, hope that this year I'll be able to buy one of them... x3
      7) Finally start a blog and update regularly!
      8) Hope that I won't add more dolls to my wishlist...

    16. 1. Buy all the things I need to do faceups!
      2. Learn how to do faceups... lol
      3. Give my dolls properly faceups! -those who need it only-
      4. Buy the clothes, eyes, wigs and shoes that my guys need
      5. Buy the Limho Mono I want and Cecil's body -Cynical Cho-
      6. Buy my new camera!
      8. Do some sueding to the guys that may need it
      9. Restring Mikhail! -Migidoll Mir-
      10. And clean Sidhion's body -Leeke Edgar-

Guess I need a lot of money this year :sweat

    17. 1. Get Iris, my Withdoll Emma that I ordered on Halloween, some clothes to suit her character.
      2. Save up money for Dollism Plus!
      3. Work on getting a body for my incoming Littlefee Juri faceplate.
      4. After I get my own apartment I want to work on 1:12 dioramas for my new Tiny Delf girls.
      5. Start saving for my Minifee, Feeple60 and my mom's RealPuki we want to order together. (RP is going to be a birthday gift!)

    18. Buy less, play more. That's it.

    19. 1. Acquire a Dollfie Dream Sister body to go with the DDH-01 head I just bought!
      2. Start working on the photostory series I've been rolling around in my head recently
      3. Get a better body for my Delf Soony to replace her Type 1 Luts body (probably a feeple body)
      4. Practice face-ups!
      5. Sew more doll clothes!
      6. Acquire a second Dollfie Dream, probably with a DDH-06 head to play a part in my photostories

    20. I find it really hard to stick to my plan. I didn't do such a good job of it in 2013. That being said, I hope to be better at not straying too far from what I am laying out here:

      1. Learn how to re-string. I think a couple of my PKFs could be improved a lot just by replacing or tightening their strings! I don't know why I'm so deathly afraid of it.
      2. Sew some clothes for my tinies (as opposed to just stockpiling cute fabrics).
      3. Get one more PKF, and if she's blank, then do my own face-up for her/him.
