What are your doll plans for 2015?

2015 Goals
- I am going to buy some MSC to try to do my own faceups, and paint to paint my DC Zora body when she comes in
- I am going to dust off my sewing machine and try to make a few things
- I am going to be more creative with my dolls and their characters (get more accessories)
- Finish my Doll desk where all the magic will happen
- maybe I'll be brave enough to do another Preorder.
- By a Richard head and find him a body (I have no boys yet!!!)

But this year:
I restrung and resueded my Juri
I glued lashes onto my LTF Ante
I bought one of my Grail Dolls (Luts/Cp Soo Angel Elf) head and body
I participated in my first Pre-order
and I got two face ups for my Juri and my realpuki Roro
I bought 6 dolls this year!

 

In 2015..
I plan on buying/pre ordering a Darak Semy. I'm in love with the face and the body!
I plan on finding Dominic a good casual outfit. He's still shirtless for now.
I plan on doing a/some outdoor photo shoots.

Last year I bought Dominic (Fantasy Doll Lionel) which was a big thing for me and one of my favourite face sculpts.

 

-Improve faceup skills
-Finish saving for my doll by April
-Learn how to use my sewing machine and make all the clothes I have planned out
That's about all I've got so far but I'm sure as the year goes on I'll have more to add to my list!!

 

1) Complete my Soom Chrom who finally has a body by getting him a new face-up, clothes, and hopefully find the perfect wig (the hardest part, hah)
2) Take more photos of my dolls
3) Start a hobby blog with some focus on my BJDs
4) Buy a new wig for my Dollshe Rosen
5) Buy a Ringdoll Norman 2.0! (Boyce too...but that's wishful thinking, he'll probably have to wait until next year)

 

Lets see...

1. Get some faces painted. I have a Elf Yder MNF, Scar Shiwoo MNF, NF MNF, Soony Elf MNF, And 3 Hound heads - OE, SA, and IM. 7 in total.
2. Get my Hound some clothes and shoes.
3. Get my Megagems more clothes.
4. Get the Elf Yder and Scar Shiwoo bodies.
5. Get my Senior Delf Zed paid off. He's on a 6 month layaway.
6. Get the MNF boys some more clothes and shoes.
7. Get the Chicline boys some clothes.

Think that's it.
Ok, Already screwed this up. 5 days into the new year...

I have a Real Puki Roro on order.

I will have a Minifee Shiwoo on layaway as soon as the seller can get a shipping quote. I want an Angell Studio Elizabeth too. Also should order an LTF El this year too.

 

Wigs: Finally, somehow, get the right ones for six of my dolls.
Eyes: Get more, need to have a variety on hand for all my girls, guys...
Face ups: Finally actually do my first one... have four little blank faces, freshly MSC coated, and just can't seem to sit down and TRY!
Dolls: Save up for when I see one I really want... I like limited editions even though I will usually have additional outfits and styles ready and waiting...

 

I think I'll work on my own personal project of getting a nice face sculpt to resemble my favorite Disgaea character, Fenrich. I'll look into decent male bodies to find a good, muscular build and perhaps I'll commission someone to make a silver-furred wolf tail for him, and I'll look into getting a Silver, long-haired wig, as well.

He'd be my first tan dollie, and probably will be one of my favorites u_u I'll have to commission someone to make his jacket/pants, too. The golden eyes should be easy to get.

... I may also buy more tiny bjd clothes on the side >_>;; and a carrying bag too.

 

My plans for 2015 hmmm.....
- Get my 2nd SD girl from DoD
- Finally re-obtain a real camera (possibly a Samsung I've been drooling over for months)
- Get Dream of Doll default outfits (opportunity to get these has arrived)
- Do my first TaoBao order then 1 or 2 more after that one
- Do 2 Angell Studio clothes orders (and limit myself from ordering more)
- Save for my Dolfie Dream Sheryl
- Maybe squeeze my first SD boy order in during the summer
- Help my mom order her first BJD

That is in no real order minus SD girl first then the boy at some point.

Bodies, bodies and more bodies….2014 was full of irresistible heads. 2015 is time for body allocation.

 

1. NO MORE DOLL BUYS. (Let's see how long this one lasts. I'm pretty content now that I have a doll off my wishlist so I'm not really sure I want more right now)

2. Learn how to make kimono's by hand. Even if it kills my hands.

3. Buy a decent sewing machine and learn how to use that without wanting to bash it to death with a baseball bat. (My current one a Singer hates me, I hate it... Oh yeah... When I told people what kind I had there was a round of laughter before I found out everyone who had the same kind switched... To the Brother machine that I wanted initially)

4. Buy Avery shoes that actually fit her well. Buy Vala more shoes.

5. Buy my MSD's more props... And furniture.

6. Make the posing mods I need to....Wiring, sueding...

7. Paint a faceup. A good one.

 

1. Getting to know my two girls; right now, it still feels a bit strange to have them around. Not in a bad way; mostly just insecurity about how to handle and interact with them.

2. Hoping the artist I selected for Merrick's face-up will accept the commission; didn't know until I sent my email that this was so important to me.

3. Stopping my current spending frenzy to sit back, relax, and explore what Momoko and Merrick really want/need.

4. Get back into photography now that I have found the perfect reason to do so.

5. Be happy

 

Well i just got my first BJD, so I'm gonna be working on making er some clothes, and try to buy some maybe

 

I have a couple of small plans - finding a wig that fits my Lumedoll Atik (although I actually like how he looks bald), changing the outfits that a couple of my dolls have been sitting in forever, and buying a couple of doll stands.

And I think the main thing I need to decide is whether I'm actually going to do anything with the 3 projects I have ongoing (two dolls and a floating head) and if not, clear out the space that those things are taking up.

 

Getting my first dolly soon! A pretty lady. c: But I plan to order a male doll within the next few months (still considering sculpts). I'm artsy-fartsy so I also plan to make clothes and do my own faceups. I'd like to get a good sewing machine; the one I have now is tiny, and can only sew a straight stitch. (It's battery-run though so crafting on the go is nice!) I have a few dresses designed and picked up fabrics for them already. I'd also like to learn more about working with different textiles and try my hand at making a doll of my own.

2015 is going to be a blast! >u<

 

Sew, sew, sew.....especially a FFXI White Mage outfit for my elf girl. Try some miniature corsetry and shoemaking techniques...attend a convention and some meetups to meet some other likeminded folks....pace myself and wait at least a few months before ordering the Iple fella that I am lusting for. Keep learning and not get overwhelmed by all the amazing stuff out there in my newly discovered hobby! :-)

Dollclans Rynx/Popodoll 70cm hybrid - plan to do full face and body Moko and make him my Maori warrior
Dandylion - Nymphaea doll tit Herbe will live at my office so I can play with him at work (small and easy to hide)
mini Grant Phillip - no real plans, was an impulse buy just because he is so statuesque and the price was irresistible

Plans to buy dolls in 2015:
Iplehouse Taregan in Ebony resin when it becomes available in doll choice in Feb. If I have money left, may also buy Efreet to complete my African family.
Trying to preorder aGattidoll Ilya but not sure if he is off topic for DOA as I see nothing about this Russian BJD artist's work here.
I joined "the longest preorder" for Twigling Pieta (or another sculpt if I like her new ones even more).

And try not to go broke.

 

For 2015 I would like to...
-Find a companion for my MK Gene
-Find out more about my MK Gene's character, and maybe even start a story for him
-Start on a wardrobe for my dolls
-Save up for my first SD because let's be honest...dat's essspensive
-Finally buy a DZ Rosen
-Maybe have my dolls painted by an artist
-Learn how to do faceups myself
-Learn how to change eyes

 

My dolly plans for 2015:

- Get bodies for my floating heads
- Buy Lut's Kid Delf Bory Girl ver.
- Practice on painting face up/ get more face up tools.
- Exchange my old Little Monica body for the new one.
- Buy clothes/ accessories/ jointed hands for my dolls.
- Meet new dolly loving friends.
- Get back to writing stories for my BJDs.
- Learn how to sew properly.
- Save up money.

Hope I can complete everything before 2015 is over~

 

The only "plan" I have for 2015 is the one I've ordered, but that doesn't mean something else won't come up! Lol
