What are your doll plans for 2015?

Oh my, in the past two years I've bought a LOT of dolls. I think I'm mostly taking a break from actual doll buying this year. I MAY put a doll on layaway or something like that, but that's probably it. I have 5 Soom Teenie Gems, 5 Luts KDFs, and 4 big dolls. I guess if I got one more big doll it would be even. LOL.

Oh, I'm also hunting for some CP Delfs on the MP. I may post a WTB thread for a Delf If in the near future. (She will be my 5th big doll if I can do it!)

Other than that, there are a few pieces I still need to obtain for my current dolls (shoes, wigs, outfits, etc) So i'll mostly work on that

Edit: I Just caved and did a WTB thread for the Delf IF. *crosses fingers*

 

My plans for 2015? Paying off the MNF Risse I put on layaway with DDE. Thats about it! I hope to not add any more dolls this year but...we will see lol.

 

Ok, decided against the Elizabeth doll. I'd like to order a LTF El to be little Dean since I have a little Mikey and big Mike and Dean. I definately need 2 Minifee boy bodies for my Scar Shiwoo and Elf Yder heads. I have 3 layaways going, and might try to pay one off today or tomorrow. It's my Roro actually. I paid another payment for my Zed so 4 more to go! I got the Shiwoo's payment started.

I'd love to get the Megagems some clothes. They only have a few. And another pair of shoes at least. My Hound really needs clothes and shoes. He hasn't anything. I'd like to get the MNF and Chicline boys some more clothes and shoes as well. The Chicline boys are harder than the MNF however.

I'd love to get the heads painted this year too. Maybe my Miyu repainted as well. But at least the blank heads.

 

Well, new plans involve;
- celebrating the birthdays (arrival dates) of all my smaller dolls (14+) Making each doll a special new outfit and cake, and photographing the whole thing
- planning another 'family group' to take a road trip across the country

 

Update 1/21 - just adding specific outfits to list ;p

1. DECIDE what my twins/triplets will be shelled in! Not sure anymore of my original plans size OR company wise anymore O_o.
2. Get Leonard from CH RE release (<- this depends on if he comes with the Tattoo... otherwise he waits)
3. SID Yur?
4. Get backdrops or at least figure out a decent place to set up in my house for pics (lighting would be a nice bonus here ><)
5. Get stands! With this helpful post I have a great place to start! Thanks Ash! ^^
6. Specific clothing etc. needs.
- SID black pants & white basic shirtDONE
- EID tall 'regency' boots[DONE
- SID regency boots (no idea where to get these yet)
- order 2 IH Elizabeth dresses

- spare Edan wig
- JID Blue Blossom set & Peach Pink set. maybe?*

7. Buy a head puller that won't break and give me a black eye!
8. Maybe* a SID girl or a body and face up for my nYID Emilia head.
9. REMEMBER TO GET Abby's (KID) spare hands!!!!

Not exactly plans as they are already in the works stuff

i am just getting into the hobby, my first doll just arrived so i am looking forward this year to diving right in. start getting some clothes and wigs, maybe pick up a few more dolls haha. its going to be a fun year

 

i think i'm going to be done with my collection this year. at least, until some company releases something amazing.
i have a unoa elder zest coming in the next couple weeks, as well as a tan minifee celine. also getting bodies for a couple heads, a unoa l-bi and maybe a chibi unoa lilin? alchemic labo will be the death of me.
then comes the option parts and outfits, but we'll see.

 

My Plan for 2015

To FUllfill my needs:
- to own MNF WooSoo Vampire Elf Boy
- to get a pair of hands for my 2nd boy from Luts. well maybe scissors hand.
- to make more miniature, making a homeland for 2nd boy
- get my faceup tools imported, started practice on them
- change face up for 1st boy

try not to cross below:
- another doll again (i plan until WooSOo only for this year)
- buy luxury clothes

i hope i can get my goal completed.. wishing!!

 

Actually finish up the dolls I have. Not one doll is complete: hair, face up, right clothes,shoes,name.

Not buy 6 bjds and 4 off topic littles in 6 months. I got my first doll in June and have gone a little crazy.

Make some furniture for my girls.

Get more scooters so I can do a ride photo.

 

My plans for 2015:
1. Sort out my recent arrivals, I have 6 still lying in their boxes waiting for face-ups, clothes, eyes etc ...
2. Give my Island Doll Cassandra a makeover, she is looking a bit ... bland ...
3. NOT buy anymore until point 1 is done haha (Unless a Soom Sammi becomes available)
Pretty straight forward list for me, I need to get my butt into gear!

 

Well those were some noble goals, but it seems most of them won't happen anymore lol. I actually sold both my MNF and my Elvenia and I cancelled my layaway for Issac. I did manage to find a Noble Dolls Radicelle which I currently have on layaway! My new plans for this year now include trying my hand at face-ups and wig making .

 

1. Order and pay for a Granado Titan doll. Actually, he's on layaway now, so I'm on my way to getting that resolution done.
2. Put together the three dolls that have been wrapped up and in boxes in parts since I unstrung them nearly a year ago.
3. Organize a Doll Show and meed-up with my New England Resin Doll Society pals. That's actually on it's way too.

Good year to get myself back into my dolls. I missed them. I was too busy with stupid things.

 

My doll plans for this year... let's see:

#1 most important priority is SAVING for my Grail doll, Ringdoll Spencer. I probably won't have enough until the end of the year, so most of my money will be going into that fund.

That said, I already had plans to get some clothes and shoes for my current dolls, so I'll be spending some money on:
-Dollmore Shoes for Laika (and my first group order most likely)
-Actual outfit/wardrobe for Mischka consisting of some proper pants, some shirts, and a jacket (this might go along with my planned big order from a certain clothing maker and seller on the MP here)
-Faceup supplies, because I want to learn and I think it would be worthwhile to at least have the right materials

Other than that, if the saving for Spencer doesn't work out or I settle (which I hopefully won't) for going for a cheaper option, my plans after Spencer are to make a doll of Vriska from Homestuck using a Dolllove/Doll Chateau hybrid, and there are a couple MP dolls I've been glancing at. I'm hoping I have enough discipline to make it to my grail though!

I also plan to attend more meetups in my state and interact with the local community more. Everyone I've met is awesome, but I really need to remember who's who (sorry guys!). ^^; This includes possibly inflicting a BJD panel at a local con on my friend who is not active in the hobby (yet- she wants to get a doll someday but has other priorities that come first).

 

Well, I've already started on my plans by buying the white skin cerisedolls Ombre I've been wanting. I can't wait to get her. Other things that may or may not happen:
1)I'd like to grab Dark Tales Ava
2) I've been thinking about modding a sleeping MNF Mirwen into a boy
3) I'm waiting for Fairyland to announce Feeple 60 boys again, especially El
4) Lillycat's new sculpt Lilas is looking super cute...might be tempting if she releases that this year. Especially since she has 7 month layaway now.

I'm not sure any of these things will happen because it's hard to say how things will be financially for me. Maybe some stuff will happen this year, maybe it will get pushed into next year.

 

I only have one thing I must do... Save for SD creamy mami or yu morisawa!!

 

I have Carina and Arvid on layaway at Iplehouse. A fun way to start the year. It is my first doll order from IP and I can't wait to get them.

 

Try not to buy too many dolls this year. I buy dolls but don't buy enough clothes for them. I have got enough msd sized things, but I need to faceup like 8 dolls. Have to do my Soom Monzo, he's been sitting in his box for I think a year? Mainly due to a nasty crack in his leg that I partially fixed, but he's a lot of work with all the fantasy parts needing painted.
also want to redo some of my older dolls.
ive already bought 2 dolls this year and got 2 in a trade, so already I'm failing.

 

oh well .
I got into hobby in sept'14 with my small Pipos baby-kittie .
So for this year i hope i could :
- re-do the kitties' face up and order him proper clothes
- order eyes for three of my crew
- get my dollshe Husky a proper face up
- get clothes for all of them
- receive my dollshe Ausley fashion and give her a face up
- order two doll-chateau bodies
- order zaoll luv head
- die peacefully

 

I have a Macaron Fairy Lemon on layaway with Withdoll, and I hope to purchase a Dream of Doll Kirill and a Soom Arkose this year o3o
