What are your doll plans for 2015?

My Doll Plans for 2015
- Sew doll clothes
- Assemble a bedroom for my dolls
- Buy or make doll furniture for my doll bedroom
- Learn how to do faceups
- Take more pictures for my dolls
- Sell on Ebay dolls (not BjDs) I don't want to keep to buy more BJD stuff

 

2015 Plans
- redo Hana and Dante face-up Done
- learn to make wigs (on progress)
- learn to make eyes Done
- finish organizing the BJD story universe almost done
- buy at last one new character Got 6! XD

 

Ok, decided against the Elizabeth doll. I'd like to order a LTF El to be little Dean since I have a little Mikey and big Mike and Dean. I definately need 2 Minifee boy bodies for my Scar Shiwoo and Elf Yder heads. I have 3 layaways going, and might try to pay one off today or tomorrow. It's my Roro actually. I paid another payment for my Zed so 4 more to go! I got the Shiwoo's payment started.

I'd love to get the Megagems some clothes. They only have a few. And another pair of shoes at least. My Hound really needs clothes and shoes. He hasn't anything. I'd like to get the MNF and Chicline boys some more clothes and shoes as well. The Chicline boys are harder than the MNF however.

I'd love to get the heads painted this year too. Maybe my Miyu repainted as well. But at least the blank heads.

UPDATE 2/7/15

Real Puki Roro (Ivy) is home. Made another payment towards my Minifee Shiwoo I've got on layaway. Also paid off Buff for painting my Hati and Skoll heads. Going to pay another payment on my SDF Zed and the MNF Shiwoo on the 17th.

I'd also like to get my Cutie Delfs and my DB Doll some more clothes and shoes. All three have bellies so they're not slim like all the others their size so they have to be made clothes and that includes visits to Spampy. I do have some they can wear but I'd like at least a little more. (I should try to see if the DB Doll can wear Cutie clothes. That'll help.)

 

Doll plans for 2015!

These are not in any specific order by the way

1) Send Claire away for Faceup (my Iplehouse YID Iris). Must find a local artist with the right style. I don’t want to be without her for long.

2) Get an Iplehouse SID body for my Elfdoll Soah head, and see if my Dollshe Saint likes her He wanted an Iplehouse SID Stela but I don't know if I like her, and I own the wallet :P Ha!

3)Get the Pukifee dressed and shoed and accessorized. All 6 of them.

4) Finish one of the 2 dollhouses at least. This has been a long time coming.

5) Try to figure out what body I want for my Obitsu Gretel head. I didn't like the Obitsu body so I sold it. I want to put her on a resin body, but I think I want something equally skinny, that is 63-65 cm tall.

6) Try an MSD again? Or a fashion-doll-size resin doll, like the Dollmore 12" FMD BJD? Or maybe an Iplehouse KID?

7) Learn to make pants for the boys!!! I have a Dollshe Saint, and an Iplehouse YID Soo Ri that I buy things for, but have never made anything for. That has to change. I have managed to make really tight "Latino Dancer" pants for a boy doll before. But that's about it lol

8) The usual yearly plan: Continue to stylize my dolls till they are happy and till I am happy This includes clothes, shoes, accessories, wigs, eyes, and faceups.

9) Almost forgot.... DOLL CLOSETS. I'm bloody tired of digging through boxes and boxes and bins and bags looking for outfits. Enough is enough.

 

I'm planning to buy tiny dolls this year) It's kind of new passion
So, plans for 2015 are:
Definitely:
1. buy 3 Doll Family-A tiny dolls
Possible:
1. buy clothes for MSD Resinsoul girl
2. buy clothes for SD Ringdoll girl
Not very likely:
1. buy Dollpamm tiny doll
2. learn how to make clothes for dolls

 

I'm still researching for now but this year I'd like to:
Sell off my 1/6th scale stuff (well most of it, who know what 1/6th BJDs might be in my future), carefully select my first doll and order! Then all of the terribly optimistic things that newbies must think. Make a zillion outfits, be a brilliant face-up artist, etc.

And most importantly, come out of my shell, make some youtube videos and post here! It's intimidating but if you want to be in the community, you gotta be in the community.

 

I have my one doll Lalee, and she's Souldoll Aru. Right now I just finished a sweater for her and so I think I will just need to make more things for her. There will be a lot of experimenting and a lot of failed attempts at clothes and shoes! It should be interesting!

 

2015 Plan:
Get a minifee or lati yellow before summer end
Have one bjd for the year or maybe two at max
Play with him/her as in faceup and making clothes
Buy reasonable amount of clothes but don't over do it
Experience with urethane eye
Get some lighting equipment and play around with photography

I look forward in making a return back to the hobby and can't wait for the summer to come >.<

 

I got my first doll this year. And I plan of having a brother or S.O to go with her by the end of the year.

 

My Minifee Chloe is on it's way! I want to spend some time on making 1/4 clothing, furniture and props for her. I also want to advance my face up skills.

- Get a Boy BJD
- After that don't order any more dolls for the year
- Get a better clothing packing system for them
- Make a bedroom Diorama
- Make enough BJD clothes to sell on Etsy (With possible commisions)
- Finally do my DDdy Naomi's new faceup
- Finally do my MNF Rin's Body blushing
- Send out my SOOM Dain for a face up (Probably Jordin)
- Take my BJD up to my grandparents house to get some good forest shots.
- Go to MoC at least twice

 

1. Most importantly, get more clothes for my 3 dolls. I think I've got Sammi covered, but I still have yet to find something satisfying for Nilla. And Ebony can always use more clothes. Update 2015-02-13: Found a cute outfit for Nilla! Still nothing for Ebony though

2. Decide whether I want to sell my Souldoll Lev head. He was my only impulse buy, and I do like him, but I haven't done anything with him. I'm just scared that if I sell him, I will want one in a few years but will never find one again since he's been discontinued. Update 2015-02-13: Contacted someone on the MP who had a WTB up! I've decided I don't want to keep him.

3. Get Charlotte! She's a DIM girl for sure, but I'm not sure which sculpt exactly.

4. Learn to make cute lolita clothing for Charlotte, and/or buy her some cute dresses.

5. If I mqnage all of that in 2015, I'll be ecstatic! My plans after that are to get more big guys to go with Ebony. Don't know who yet, though. A Simply Divine Thomas? A Migidoll Yujin? An Iplehouse boy? We'll see. Update 2015-02-13:I oopsed and got a migidoll head before everything else was done... Ahaha :P

 

Lemme update this:

1. Get bodies for Priss and Linna Got Priss' body in hand as of 2/10!
2. Work on actually getting more clothes for everybody!
3. Start on saving for Nene if I can get #1 accomplished

 

I'm hoping to order my first doll sometime this year... I'm still trying to decide on one that I know for sure would work, but I keep changing my mind on some and I get completely lost again on which ones I do and don't like!

Doll plans for 2015
1. Make clothes for my demon, some awesome demon attire, his faceup came out really well. Started
2. Work on new DC body done, except for mani-pedi and his head (whoever that will be) 5Stardoll Dark, the wizards wins. He will need special clothes. He now has one outfit.
3. Make a better wig/headcap for OfKa Lukas
4. Make more socks/stockings
5. Finish off Rae’s armor.
6. Kilian’s tattoo. Done, needs some tweaking.
7. Ash and Evz story/photo stories, ~made a few box openings with them.
8. Write demon daddy’s story.
9. Remake Reed’s abdomen armor. May become a project...
10. Make Kilian’s Crimson robe (not happy with one I made looks like a bathrobe), leggings and boots.
11. Set up the patio diorama. Picnic table, log benches,, working on it already but nothing to show. Started
12. Set up the studio apartment.
13.Build a 70cm bed (started- why did I start there? as I look at the Incubus sleeping above me), 60cm bed, a couple of chairs, longer sofa, end tables for the apartment. Bed built but need frame for it.
14. Make more props, props, props!
New edit and it isn't even 2015 yet:
15. Buying an RDJ head and Possibly probably a body *hangs head in shame at my gullibility for a RDJ head*, and faceup to be Sherlock. Have plenty of 1890's-ish clothes. Have his eyes.
16. My Doll Family head came in that I ordered in August of last year (forgot about him). Interesting Elf eared vampire. Immediately started by modding his pointy nose and pointy chin, off to a roaring start. Perhaps he will tell me who he is before I do a faceup on him. Faceup done, photo in DF discussion thread

Hopeful things
1. Get a WS Ringdoll? body for Kilian let Remi have his body back.Getting a Miro 64.5cm body for Remi and the new vampire elf.
2. Make a ‘Frankie’ outfit from Rocky Horror picture show. (Already made the male size corset and found some fishnet stockings - what is left?)

Hard to do list
1. Don’t buy any more dolls (except for Kilian’s body). Failed that before the year was out.
2. Possibly sell floating heads.One is up for sale.
3. Reorganize the closet and shelves. Working on it.
4. Possibly sell extra props.
5. Sell the stuff the guys don’t use. Gathering it up and pricing

 

1. Do more sewing!
2. Buy NO MORE DOLLS. I have more than I can display and enjoy >__>
3. Repaint older dolls to make them new again.
4. De-yellow older dolls.
5. Expand 1/4 size wardrobe.
6. Expand 1/3 size male wardrobe.
7. Build doll-size bookshelf to store doll-size books.
8. More doll panties.

 

1.) Find or make a permanent display for the dolls
2.) Fill out wardrobes, especially for the guys with only one outfit
3.) New wigs for the girls
4.) I would like to get another doll, but I haven't decided which one yet.

 

I only really have a couple serious ones.

- Take my dolls out more.

And the most important one, because I should behave.

- Get my floating head a new body, I've had a luts 2007 event head since 2012, and I've opened her eyes, and that's it, She needs a body, the poor thing, but it feels like there is no body that does her justice.

 

Update 2/2 Iple Regency and stuff order is home and found EID & SID regency stuff too! (Cheerydoll)... will be watching 'sale items at IH this month now >< 02/15: Just a 'small' but important add on....

1. DECIDE what my twins/triplets will be shelled in! Not sure anymore of my original plans size OR company wise anymore O_o.
2. Get Leonard from CH RE release with un-blushed short swords and gun! (get ARS to do it later ^^) ordered!!! (1/30)
3. SID Yur? not looking good? $$$ wise
4. Get backdrops or at least figure out a decent place to set up in my house for pics. I will have to improvise the backdrops now

- receive Scarlet split; red satin outfit (Chizzie split)paid for shipping goes in mail tomorrow! 2/17
- receive Bambi split: Bane's outfit & weapons
- receive Law split; Law's weapons and blushing by ARS ^^ omg the weapons blushing my partner is doing is to die for
