What are your doll plans for 2015?

Update!

• Cleanup and MSC my newest BJDs - done -
• Do face ups for blank BJDs - WIP
• Sharpen face up of old BJDs - done - very happy with the result -
• Lookup non-Normal Skin and Non-white skin BJDs only - fail but trying hard
• Concentrate on making BJD clothes and learn to use sewing machine - slow, very slow WIP
• Don't buy BJDs - total fail, I bought one not so long ago. Changing to: Don't buy BJDs for the rest of the Year
• Have fun - getting there!

 

i'm new to the hobby and have just bought my first girl. a minifee luka. I'm currently looking for her body and hope to have one within the month. order a wig i know which one i want. attempt my first faceup. sew some clothing and create a diorama for her so some very ambitions plans for 2015. Develop her back story. I dont think i'll get another doll just yet but if i do theres a few sculpts id be interested in. either a minifee nanuri 2013 or a chloe or mirwin or a rissee but i wont buy more than two this year if i do buy a second i guess it depends if one comes up and it comes up at a good price.

 

Plans for the year (and probably the next year as well):

- Getting and sewing more clothes for my DZ Hid (in progress, his clothes just did not arrive yet...)
- Learn how to do a decent FaceUp (and first of course buy all necessary things like pastels, acrylic colors, brushes...)
- Save up and get a DZ Mo and Megi as companions for my Hid
- Save up and get a body for my DZ Yuu head that will be ordered this week

 

I think I have posted here before, but here are my new plans (they keep changing...)

1. Get a 5th Motif Venitu
2. Get a IH Claude (he's been my grail since....2013 I think)

These 2 are the most important dolls to me - the rest of my dolly buys are just me going crazy and impulsive!! URGH I can't help myself. These 2 are really my main plans. I can't afford to deviate!!!!

 

I did a quick search for you in here and this is your 'only' post.... if you want to check and 'old' list try the 2014 thread and then edit this post with the new info .... cuz some of us need this like a nagging mom to keep on track lol. ... I know I do... and it still does not always work ;p

New Plans:
1. Finish Terran (Luts Berry Centaur).
2. Acquire bestie for Kit Kat. On her way home soon!
3. Complete at least 10 faceups.
4. Complete at least 3 wigs.
5. Sew one full outfit for everyone.
6. Build at least one piece of furniture.
7. Improve photography.
8. Travel to 5 different photo shoot settings.

Carry-Over From Last Year:
1. Get shoes for Arria.
2. Get Merc jointed hands. Ordered!
3. Get Merc clothes. Ordered!
4. Make a doll diorama (or something similar).
5. First photostory.
6. Find chair for Kit Kat.
7. Write stories for everyone that's home.

• Separate Tea's webbed fingers DONE 19.4. (I finally had the courage to do it)
• Make story/character cohesive clothes for everyone

• Get a body for my floating head
• Make fancy clothes for everyone
• Have a story for the characters

 

Pretty much just waiting. I'm waiting for events and new doll releases, I have my eye on a few dolls, but I'm going to wait for events or releases of new versions. And they might even come out with new dolls that I love even more. So yeah, waiting. Not particularly interesting unfortunately.

 

I'm with Geekachu on 2015 dolly plans, playing the waiting game too! I've got my eye on a couple dolls as well, but I'm waiting to see if there'll be some new dolls or even just a full set I'll absolutely fall in love with~

I would also like to start an etsy up this year and give Nana a face up, but I'm not so sure about that etsy n u n''

 

Update 4/14 - I think my 'plan' should be "learn to let IH dictate my plans >< Passing on Marien's duck lips ;p But the outfits to come are ... deadly. Edan's Black Cyan set<-- (ordered) , B's Azalea set, Marien's pink set, Harace's gown.

My plans for 2015 are very long termed, as I practically promised to my partner and I wouldn't buy another doll too soon (actually, I had only planned to buy one in October and then I ended up buying a second one on occasion in November - he agreed, because I purchased her from a very dear friend of ours), so my Oliver (Honey Delf Pie) and Kathrine (K.I.D. Bambi) will have to wait. It's actually a good thing I have to wait for Bambi: as I couldn't purchase her in the limited edition period, I'm hoping she will be released as basic like it happened for others in few months. So, there, hope XD.

Plus, I am participating in a big project with fellows doll-collectors, money will go there too ^^.

As for the rest, I plan to spoil a bit my girls with some props or toys (I really want to find some nanoblocks for Emma), and I plan to enjoy them *a lot* .

Honey Delf Pie ordered in April (waiting for him) as Luts had discounts. Sadly I didn't manage to get everything I wanted, but I bought enough XD.

K.I.D. Bambi has been added to the Doll Choice and I will wait to see if Iple makes the same offer of DC at basic price in December, otherwise I'll wait for her to eventually become basic (or see If I find one second- hand from Europe)

I have added Aquarius Mia G to my list to shell my Larp Character, Meike Hannelore Pappenheim.

Purchasing a Bobobie Isabella with the birthday money I will be getting soon so I will be working on her look. Also need to get a Monique Red wig for my Doll Leaves Kiki soon, he's in need of a new wig. I also hope to pick up a few Ai Dolls but I won't go into that since they aren't allowed here.

 

Getting my first BJDs in 2015! Two arrived and a looooong wait for number three. Now to focus on taking lots of photographs.

 

My doll plan for 2015 is simple. Get a doll! I've been admiring this fandom for years and I'm dying to have a doll to call my own.

 

My plan for 2015 is to get my first super dollfies!! I have dollfie dreams but I've been eyeing Volks resin SD's for a while now.

 

hm well here goes.I plan on buying two a line minifee bodies as well as a minifee m line luka, then i want to get a SDF Chloe and then I need to find an SD girl body for one of my floating heads that fits the aesthetic I'm going for. Doll parts out of the way, I want to try my hand at face ups and also try my hand at sewing a few things. Then I want to make at least 2 dioramas (SD and MSD size)I think that covers it

 

I would like to have my first BJD in 2015! But I don't know when that will happen, as I'm moving cross country in a couple of months and thus my funds are spoken for.

 

Currently working on the room box/diorama for my girls. The status at the moment is building furniture. Tonight I built the TV unit for the room, and tomorrow (hopefully) I will complete the four draws that go with it. I have already purchased a real working miniature TV so the girls can really watch their favourite shows and play playstation and wii.

Plans for the foreseeable future:
* Cut out the openings for windows. Still haven't decided how many, but I have six.
* Paint the interior. Bought the paint today.
* Lay the flooring.
* Paint the trim, windows and door.
* Make mattresses, sheets and blankets for the bunk beds.
* Make a lounge (still haven't decided on the design for the lounge, or if it should be beanbag chairs)
* Make train table
* Make easel
* Make play kitchen
* Make play clothesline
* Make play-sized cot, highchair and bouncer (For the girls' baby dolls)
* Make table and chairs (for tea parties, and maybe another bigger one as a dining table were the girls can eat).
* Paint furniture
* Create accessories (dvds, books, paint pots, etc)


Plans for the unforeseeable future:
* Make play grocery set including stall, shopping cart, cashiers table, play food to go with it all (and tiny money)
* Create a loft/mezzanine area to fit above my diorama to act as the bedroom area.
* Build a closet for the girls' clothes.
* Make shoe storage.
* Make side tables.
* Make a third bed for my new little one on the way.
* Incorporate lighting into the diorama.
* Decorate the room box. (Since my two PukiPuki's are named after space/solar system, I have a plan to add glow in the dark stars, like what is found in many children's bedrooms, and tentatively theme their room this way. Including a star/solar system mobile, cloud lamps, etc)
* Teach myself to sew more clothes. Clothes that look somewhat decent and that the girls would be proud to wear.

On the doll-front:
I hope to own… maybe five PukiPuki's by the end of the year…. At least!
