  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I have failed so far. Time to restart!

      Old:

      Actually finish up the dolls I have. Not one doll is complete: hair, face up, right clothes,shoes,name.

      Not buy 6 bjds and 4 off topic littles in 6 months. I got my first doll in June and have gone a little crazy. Oops, bought 4 more dolls since this post, plus a bonus in a MoC grab bag New - try to at least only get planned for/wish list dolls

      Make some furniture for my girls. I did, at least, buy a couple of benches for my girls. Yesterday I started looking up tutorials and making plans.

      Get more scooters so I can do a ride photo. I got one more scooter, but it needs work. That leaves me one left to go.


      New

      Do NOT buy any dolls until last one is paid off. :(

      Get face up for Leeke LE Elf Daisy. Also paint all of her accessories to make them match the face up. Turn her sewn up dress into a removable one. Face up booked.

      Make Fairies out fits for my three tiny off topic dolls, and get one more to complete theme. Research started

      Make a fairy diorama. Research started

      Sew more clothes for my girls.

      Try to build up a stash of clothes to sell. A few christmas dresses mostly made.

    3. a side note kinda.... last year I meant to learn to 'restring' .... was to chicken lol... However a doll being sent to me unstrung meant I had no choice lol. It's not a great job, don't know if she could free-stand or not but I got the doll together! so a fail from last year was an accomplishment THIS year that I hadn't even put on my list this year.... does that still count ;p Still need proper tools ><

    5. I've just come back into the hobby after a really long hiatus so there's quite a bit I wanna do this year.

      -Redo my DZ Mo's incredibly old faceup
      -Go through doll wardrobe and get rid of the mangled or unused stuff
      -Adopt a DC Queena to turn into Pearl from Steven Universe
      -Faceup and wardrobe that entails, including both seasons outfits plus the extras
      -Sculpting the spear
      -Actually use my sewing machine for its intended use; doll clothes

      The last time I was here there weren't those workshop journal things for making stuff, so I'm really looking forward to using those for the WIP shots and stuff of all my projects this year.

      - buy the fabric I've been stalking for my Pre-Raphaelite Ancient Tales Rachel and sew her dress

      - Finish Eurydice

      - sew Eurydice's clothes

      - Finish Kore (give her at least a faceup so she's presentable)

      - Start Frankie's big doll dyeing project (dyeing tan)

      My plans for 2015 (the most is planned since 2014)

      -order new clothes for Leonardo done

      -find perfectly pants for Mani done

      Keanu
      -buy a Delf typ 4 boy body done
      -clothes done
      -shoes done

      Joel
      -buy the next Delf typ 4 boy body done, but a JDF Body
      -clothes done
      -shoes done
      -wig done

      Maddox
      -buy a LM Harmony boy body done
      -new faceup (i like him as he is, he keeps his)
      -clothes done
      -shoes done
      -wig done
      -eyes done

      and i need more space for 6 boys :sweat temporarily done

      not planned but ordered, new glass eyes for Kentaro, i don't like his silicone eyes... done

      Maybe: adopt Crobi Lance and Luts Joe, but first Joels body, so i think the both are doll plans for 2016 or 2017? I hope       ^-^

    9. if you saw recent IH resins fine but the resin formula for darker tones is no longer 'translucent' due to ingredient supply problems. It's still nice (looooovy my RS boys ^^) But also be warned... one is never enough ><... ppl tend to be permanent residents of the Iple waiting rooms lol.
      Here's hoping to see you there... and definitely hit that room anyhow since the first few posts are extremely helpful with links and other info ^^ ... did I mention we (iple owners) are the best at being enablers ^^

    15. My plan for 2015 is to finally purchase my first bjd. I am employed and can now save up for my first doll. Yay!

      There's one problem, though. More like two, actually. For one, I need to decide which doll from my wishlist I want to be my first. I made a list of companies and dolls that caught my fancy. Decisions, decisions! Second, I need to figure out how much I want to invest on my first doll. I've never held a bjd before, much less seen one in real life. I don't know if I want to go all out for my first doll, not knowing whether or not I'm going to enjoy this hobby.

      What I am certain about is that I will be getting a doll this year. So excited!
