What are your doll plans for 2015?

Hm!) My plans for the rest half of the year:

* Find and buy mnf Nanuri 2014 head
* Redo make-up for my little Doll-zone Deer girl
* Find a blond wig for her (deer)
* And maybe - make-up for the future Nanuri head

And the most desired wish - i don't know if i would be able to fulfill it until 2016:
* Find and buy Narae 402 or 404 in tan or realskin
I'm really crazy about Naraes for the past 2 weeks! Hope i will find her one day!

 

Halfway through the year update... good to see where I am and remind myself the goals I had for this year XD

Buying

* Body for Minifee Soony Elf (Downsizing -Sold head, don't need body)
* Delf Shiwoo in NS (Decided against)
* FM60 Miyu in WS (Decided against)
* Minifee New Family in NS (Decided against)
* Minifee Risse in? (May still get at some point but low priority)

Doll Maintenance

* New Faceups for: F60 Lishe (Done!), F60 Celine (Done!), Unoa Lusis (Sold), Minifee Soony Elf (Sold), Minifee Shushu (Done!) and Minifee Mirwen (To Do), and will also need to do first faceups for Minifee Rena (Done!) and Rheia (Done!)
* Manicures and Pedicures for: F60 Celine, F60 Lishe, Delf Arwen, all Minifee (Not yet)
* Restring: FM60 Rona (Done!), F60 El, Minifee Mirwen, Minifee Nanuri 13 (rest not yet done)
* Tattoos for SDF Abadon, F60 El, F60 Celine and possibly others... (not yet done)
* Attempt to make alpaca wigs for my MSDs. Maybe XD (Someday...)
* Start my de-yellowing project for my Delf Moon head on much newer F60 body - remove default faceup, de-yellow head/blush pink, and give him a new faceup (Low priority, reorganizing)

Miscellaneous

* Sew more! Like... lots more. I barely had the time for any sewing this year and I miss it terribly. (need to do )
* Practice painting eyelashes and brows on my faceups instead of relying on the unpredictable water colour pencil. I did manage to find some (hopefully) perfect brushes for this endeavor. (One successful attempt, now to keep practicing)
* Decide once and for all if I'm going to actually assign characters and stories for my dolls or if I'll just settle on picking names and basic personalities for them and have them be my chameleons. Every time I think I've settled on a story line/setting, I start to panic and feel that I've "trapped" my dolls into one look... like if I dress them modern for their story then I can't have them dress fantasy, or steampunk, or historical... (constant work in progress)
* In-spite of the above, I do like the idea of having only one pair of eyes and one or two wigs (same-ish colour, different style) for each doll. More than that takes up too much space! So need to decide on that, but really only have 3-4 who have yet to settle. (Good progress here, about 75% done)
* Major spring-cleaning. I want to be ruthless this year in moving on all the extra wigs and eyes etc. I've accumulated over the years and have held onto because they might be perfect for some future unknown doll. (In progress! Lots done!)
* Redoing my doll display and storage into something more practical - acquire storage and shelving and doll stands for each of the dolls, preferably starting with the big 'uns. (In progress!)
* More photography and better photography is always an on-going goal (always ongoing!)
* Spend more time getting to know my fellow doll lovers! (always ongoing!)

Wow, I'm actually a lot further ahead with all of this than I was expecting XD

Priorities now are finishing the few faceups left, maybe refreshing a few, doing manicures etc and sewing. I need to sew more!

 

Updates! Ordered Allie an AoD body and some pink/blue acrylics to wear while he waits for the urethanes I will inevitably order. I still haven't found a pink wig that fits his style, but this is not surprising. It's been half a month since his head was ordered--just one and a half month to go. It's likely his body's going to beat his noggin.

Yuri is finished at the spa and will likely catch a flight back early this week. Good, because Max's dictatorship monopoly on all the attention was getting tiresome.

So finally I started to save money for this hobby. I'm still new to here and to this hobby, but my plans are:

~ buy practice head next month and start to practice face up (I already have face up tools...I hope )
~ I really want to buy Linglong from Akagidoll, but I'm little bit afraid, because I didn't see here many discussions about Akagi dolls :/
~ sew a lot of clothes, make lot of accessories
~ if the practie head will look good, maybe I would like to buy him a body and buy some new girl practice head :'D

 

My 2015 plan has started already, i have recently bought a Bluefairy Shiny fairy JR Leila and i am so happy , she will come soon ^^ .
I have bought face up materials included MSC which still needs time to come to me (sea travel mail)
I need to buy a doll head so i can practice on

Learn how to use the sewing machine because i think after a year hand sewing i prefer something new, a challenge ^^

My plans for this year was to not buy a single doll. I have failed - four times.

Since then, I'm planning to finish making the post apocalypse home for them.

Emilia's body has been strung and is awaiting the head being done ^^ This will mean I achieved 3 items from last years list I didn't make (2 face ups and learning to 'string'! ^^)

I got my SID Soo this year, but I have EID Dexter and BID Bonnie on their way as well. I have been looking at JID Edwin as well, and I think he would make a great addition to the team!
Otherwise on my schedule is to make new clothes for them, and learn how to make them better. My Dexter (who will be called Reginald) needs pants, as there were none fitting to the style he will have on Iplehouse's website when I ordered them.
I'm thinking about EID Yur or SID Aria around Christmas. I have had my eyes on Aria for a while, so I guess she will be the one who comes after Edwin, and before Yur.

And also, I have to make sure I can go to many doll meet-ups and events in Sweden so I can meet new people

Doll plans for 2015
1. Make clothes for my demon, some awesome demon attire. *DONE
2. Work on new DC body and his head 5Stardoll Dark. DONE He will need special clothes.
3. Make a better wig/headcap for OfKa Lukas -* DONE
4. Make more socks/stockings?
5. Finish off Rae’s armor. Handing if off to her new owner - sort of DONE
6. Kilian’s tattoo. Getting a new body removed the tats, they weren’t right anyway. DONE and very well to
7. Ash and Evz story/photo stories, ~made a few box openings with them.
8. Write demon daddy’s story.
9. Remake Reed’s abdomen armor. May become a project...DONE, no project.
10. Make Kilian’s Crimson robe DONE, leggings and boots.
11. Set up the patio diorama. Picnic table, log benches,, working on it already but nothing to show. DONE need to arrange.
12. Set up the studio apartment. Started in my attic, too hot had to move it elsewhere. Canceled
13.Build a 70cm bed started- why did I start there? as I look at the Incubus sleeping above me), 60cm bed, couple of chairs ordered, longer sofa-DONE, end tables for the apartment. Bed built but need frame for it.
14. Make more props, props, props! *Started on a few things. Started bookcase
New edit and it isn't even 2015 yet:
* Buying an RDJ head and a body *hangs head in shame at my gullibility for a RDJ head*, and faceup to be Sherlock. Have plenty of 1890's-ish clothes. Have his brown 14mm eyes. PIF with extra WS body. He arrived and is getting his look, waiting on $ for a proper wig. body went to Kilian he got his chest tattoo.
*My Doll Family head came in that I ordered in August of last year (forgot about him). Interesting Elf eared vampire. Immediately started by modding his pointy nose and pointy chin, off to a roaring start. Perhaps he will tell me who he is before I do a faceup on him. Faceup done, photo in DF discussion thread Done - he is Dusk Lightbane.
*Bought an "in stock" DZ HID MSD named him Jamie Clare. Done arrived and faceup'ed
* Put a DM Blue Epoch Nayuta Kenzo on layaway for 6 months. Paid off early he has Arrived DONE
*Ordered Dollshe Bernard head, reshelling Song. He arrived and faceuped. DONE

Hopeful things
1. Get a WS Ringdoll? body for Kilian let Remi have his body back. Getting a Miro 64.5cm body for either Remi, Kilian or Dusk. Ordered different body see #15 above
2. Make a ‘Frankie’ outfit from Rocky Horror picture show. (Already made the male size corset and found some fishnet stockings - what is left?) found garter belt ideas at Doll meet.Postponed indefinitely.

Hard to do list
1. Don’t buy any more dolls (except for Kilian’s body). Failed that before the year was out.
2. Possibly sell floating heads. One is up for sale. Selling and reshelling
3. Reorganize the closet and shelves. Working on it.
4. Possibly sell extra props.
5. Sell the stuff the guys don’t use. Gathering it up and pricing, Sold some things already.

Actually pretty proud of my accomplishments. I haven't ordered anything lately still waiting on 2 GOs and going to Doll AKon this weekend.

 

Right now, I'm waiting for a day when the humidity is low, so I can get on with blushing and face-ups for several dolls. I also plan to make casts of doll feet so I can make shoemaking lasts. I'm toying with the notion of making eyes with nail acrylic products, and there will be intermittent sewing.

 

I definitely need to get my Lati Green a new face-up. Both girls need some basic t-shirts and pants but they have several dresses so pictures do have variety. I should probably learn to sew better because the one dress I made for my Lati Green needs a wide ribbon to cover my horrible gathering. Currently I'm happy with my two girls, but depending on how much extra money I make this summer I might start looking more seriously at my Pintrest board of dollies I like.

 

All of you speak about face up and things!
You are so lucky to have them home, i can't wait to have my first doll! i'm just in progress to buy the head though and is like i have already buy it!

She is a Feeple60 moded dreamy rins head!
(Although i wanted my 1st doll to be a celine)but still so excited!
And i can't wait to give her her first face up!

 

My 2015-2016 doll plans:

* Buying two new Luts SDF boys, Bliss and Sherard, for myself, and Yvan and Thanos for my girlfriend!
* MORE DOLL CLOTHES esp for the existing dolls
* Big Eyeco order to properly outfit any and all dolls that don't currently have Eyeco eyes
* TAKE MORE PICTURES

..I'd say "that's it" but since that stuff is like $3,000+ worth of stuff to do that's actually A LOT...

 

I plan to obtain my second doll, which I would like to be a Mini Dollfie Dream. Added to that I want to have the head modified to my liking so she can be both cute and unique For now I don't have plans other than that.

 

My plans for my dolls have changed drastically. After becoming pregnant and having a baby 15 weeks prematurely I have found I need to downsize dramatically. I still like a lot of my dolls but I need the room (the baby's room used to be full of dolls).

* Downsize collection by at least 50 dolls (it's going to be hard but it needs to be done as there is well over 100 dolls - maybe over 150 I just don't know). Unless I really love the doll it needs to be rehomed.
* Downsize wigs and clothing (I have a trunk full so it's going to be a chore)
* Spend time getting face ups done on the the dolls I have (this will be an ongoing task over the next year or two I think with a newborn who is attached to oxygen 24/7)
* This one is a biggy - finishing off my display areas for my dolls. I have alcoves/shelves and display cases that need to be furnished and accessorised.

 

My only plan is to order my second doll, a Pukifee. Oh, and definitely make some more dolly clothes as well!

 

My 2015 doll plans are:
1. Give Edgar his final make up. DONE
2. Give Kerli a new make up too because hers is totally ruined. DONE
3. Buy a second-hand Eclipse21 wig for Edgar. DONE
4. Get doll stands for all the dolls (decide which ones and where do I buy them).
5. Make a bunch of photo-shoots finally explaining my main BJDs' story.
6. Buy Nori (SQLab Chibi Tsubaki) and her stuff: wig, eyes, clothes...
7. End Kerli's room: new bed, more details, books and others props... (this is a really long term plan xD)
