What are your doll plans for 2015?

1. Make clothes for my demon, some awesome demon attire - done
2. Work on new DC body and his head (whoever that will be). He will need special clothes. done
3. Make a better wig/headcap for OfKa Lukas done
4. Make more socks/stockings
5. Finish off Rae’s armor. Done, sent her on to owner
6. Kilian’s tattoo done
7. Ash and Evz story/photo stories done
8. Demon daddy’s story. started
9. Remake Reed’s abdomen armor. done
10. Make Kilian’s Crimson robe (not happy with one I made), leggings and boots. Done except boots
11. Set up the patio diorama. Picnic table, log benches. done
12. Set up the studio apartment. Done for MSDs
13. Build a 70cm bed done, 60cm bed, a couple of chairs done, longer sofa done, end tables for the apartment.
14. Make more props, props, props! done

Hopeful things

1. Get a WS body for Kilian, let Remi have his body back. done
2. Make a ‘Frankie’ outfit from Rocky Horror picture show. (Already made the male size corset and found some fishnet stockings - what is left?)done but no photos yet.

Hard to do list

1. Don’t buy any more dolls (except for Kilian’s). fail bought Sherlock, Azure and Colin
2. Possibly sell 2 heads. Fail bought more
3. Reorganize the closet and shelves. done
4. Possibly make and sell more props. fail
5. Sell the stuff the guys don’t use. Gave stuff away and I feel good,

 

I know its far into 2015 but i have come along so well in getting all my amazing and beautiful dolls up to how i want them, and now there a family with the pug bjd, i am now looking to buy a feeple60 Mirwen, its going to be hard to find but that's what it makes it so special when i finally have her

 

My big dolly goal for this year was to buy my first BJD. Which I did! And received this past summer
Other things I want to do before the year is over:
Buy my girl her best friend (hopefully in October).
Find a mature looking MSD guy, for the man in my story.
Get more clothes for my girl (and continue trying to make her some).
Find the right small magical animal/creature companion for my story.
And, plan for next year!

 

Oh boy... oh boy... oh boy... Five months in and I've completely failed at my most crucial goal... *sob* Guess it's just like new year's resolutions... Some things are just not meant to be.
Nine months in and like... TTuTT;;;

• Bring Sakito orMyabi home (bought Myabi)
• Order my Crobidoll T-line Duri before the ordering period ends this Spring abandoned plan
• Get a body for one of the floaters; (update) Shuusuke or Inaho's (only one) abandoned plan
• No unplanned dolls, no unplanned dolls, no-unplanned-dolls ...so many dolls happened...
• Get some eyes and wigs for those who need them as well as some more clothes (in progress! but it's happening!)

New goals added!

• Repaint Ealdred and paint Melchior's face
• Get Myabi, Orpheus, Nadeshiko and Mary some eyes
• Restring Mephy and Hugh, suede and wire the dolls that need it
• Start on making a diorama/doll space

And then the mandatory things

• Man up and do more faceups (painting~)
• ^ extra: learn how to use brushes
• Practice more photography
• Get around to sewing more because I've been slacking off... (trying! I'm also about to buy a sewing machine so sweet success!)
• Practice more at making wigs!!!

 

We're only a couple of months away from the end of 2015, but I still have some goals I want to accomplish before the end of the year.

1) I want to finish the detailed back stories and family histories for my doll families. I'm working on that right now. I have a little notebook I keep with me that is filled with notes on the family histories of both my doll families. I add to it all the time, and I really want to get it organized and typed up in a cohesive manner.


2) I want to get clothes made for all my dolls.


3) I want to get a body for my floating 5Star Edmund head. I have a body lined up to buy from the Marketplace as soon as I get some $$ on the first of the month. I'm hoping the body will still be available. Fingers crossed.

 

I've got my Islanddoll Noah head at home, faceupped, and installed on her body. The hybrid worked great and I love the doll! I've got one of my wigs completed, two in progress. And I haven't bought any new resin, so still sticking to that resolution. I have indulged in a crapton of new doll shoes so far this year tho. 2015 is apparently the Year of the Shoe. I'm also finishing up several doll crafting projects I'd wanted to complete by the end of this year, including making my first piece of BJD furniture. I don't think I'll complete all 4 of the wigs I wanted to do, but I'm on track to have 3 of the 4 done.
So far so good!

 

My dolly plans for 2015:

- Get bodies for my floating heads. I swear, after I paid off my current layaway; I'll get at least one body before 2016.
- Buy Lut's Kid Delf Bory Girl ver. Change of plan (Aiming for Little Monica Elena during Christmas event).
- Practice on painting face up/ get more face up tools. 50% completed (Bought more face up tools; haven't gotten around to doing face ups).
- Exchange my old Little Monica body for the new one. Cancelled plan.
- Buy SD clothes/ accessories/ jointed hands for my dolls.[FONT=Helvetica Neue, HelveticaNeue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] 66% completed (Bought SD clothes and accessories; but still no jointed hands for my SDs). [/FONT]
- Meet new dolly loving friends Completed (I'm always up to meeting new ones too)~
- Get back to writing stories for my BJDs. Got back to making photo stories instead...it counts, right?
- Learn how to sew properly. Still nothing yet...

Dolls plans for the rest of the year:

1. MSC incoming head and do/redo face ups - postponed.
2. Sew jeans for Timeless Body - done
3. Sew tops for TL3 - done -
4. Sew more clothes for Feeple 65 - done -
5. Make jeans for LTF - done -, leggings for MNF - done -
6. Tackle 'how to make a faux fur wig' - done -
7. No buying of dollies or bodies for floating heads till end of year (and beyond!) - This one is already giving me grief, though I am safe as long as there is no not-to-be-missed events happening by the year end -

These'll do for now.

 

I think I have quite a lot of doll plans I need to :
1. Finish profiling each of my dollies, finish their background stories
2. I need to restring my Feeple Rin and Minifee Rix,
3. I will need to practice face-ups.
4. Not to get anymore Bjds (which is really hard)
5. I want to make more props for them
6. I need more Male wigs :P
7. Find new owners for a few of my dollies
8. Take my dollies out and take pictures of them

I wonder if I will be able to do these by the end of this year.
and oh,

I need to be more active here =)

 

Actually my plans were basically 'no more dolls, no more clothing, just try to bond with the dolls I have and develop their stories' but right now I'm really feeling the need to add someone new haha... I suppose I'll either get an MSD or YOSD this year and then leave everything else in terms of new doll for next year.

Other, smaller plans included:
Face-up the dolls I have. Did that.
Decide whom to keep and whom to sell. Put on Hold.
Figure out everyone's character/stories. Still working on it.
Find out everyone's style in clothing, get them their own wigs. Got everyone except 1 guy covered.
Buy eyes for everyone. Did that, waiting for the last pairs to come in.

I know I'm lazy and I'm just postponing things to next year lol... well this year's almost over already anyways.

 

These are my current plans for the rest of 2015:

-Complete my BJD research and find my first doll.
-Purchase my first BJD.
-Purchase clothing for my first BJD.
-Complete a detailed story and profile for my BJD.
-Make friends with other BJD owners.

~ No new dolls until at least mid-year. Finished!
~ Update/re-do my Mirwen's face-up this summer. Finished! Changing the faceup again.
~ I would still like to try my hand at sewing Abandoned for this year
~ I would still like to try and make an alpaca wig
~ No new dolls for the rest of the year I've acquired 3 floating heads...
~ Give my new Doll Leaves Emily a faceup/complete her/figure out her name Finished!
~ Wash, restring, give faceup to new secondhand incoming DZ Floy Finished!

Update 10/16 - Okay, my nYID garden party dress and under gowns are here! Also got bonus SID day dress! It's the white test dress and can be 'trimmed' as I like ^^.

1. DECIDE what my twins/triplets will be shelled in! Not sure anymore of my original plans size OR company wise anymore O_o. looking like IH KID's unless a better 'looking' doll company shows up but the size needs to be in that range.
2. Get Leonard from CH RE release with un-blushed short swords and gun! all home 03/23! DONE
3. SID Yur? or SIDw from CH even Upcoming dolls are no goes so she may come home with an outfit?
4. Get backdrops or at least figure out a decent place to set up in my house for pics. I will have to improvise the backdrops now

Current plans:

1) Do more crafting! Mostly sewing, but now that I'm getting practice with sculpting and the like, trying my hand at props is something I'm interested in. (but seriously, I have so much fabric, and I feel like I've been promising my boys new outfits for forever... I've got what I need for a good coordinated wardrobe of everyday/'play' clothes for Vince, plus the fabric for a couple of kigurumis, and then I went and got a whole bunch of nice, soft purple...)

2) SERIOUS SAVING. Well... I'm finally able to start that during the last two months of the year, haha. Who I'm saving for is a little up-in-the-air, but I won't be able to afford to bring anyone home until next year anyway. Still, I'm in a place where I can start setting aside money each month into the doll fund.

3) New faceup for Vince (and for some off topics)! I keep not doing it, and he's in dire need now, poor boy. And as I just got a new wig for my birthday (technically for a future girl, but he'll likely be wearing it for at least the next year or so), he should have a new face to go with it.

 

I just got my new little (not so little) girl and she's a Volks SD coco! I have non stop plans for this little girl that Iv'e decided to name Hestia. All my other girls will be getting new outfits, wig's and eyes to! Though I don't plan on changing their names.

 

Plans that are currently in progress (but incomplete):

• Finish Alouette's face up
  
• Making accessories & spear for Shadow!Rani
• Making two new wigs
  
• Doll-sized folding screen project
• Finish already started sewing projects
  
• Finish painting Kiran's tail, Yama's horns, and various things for Alou

• Bought a Soom Cuprit!
• Made various clothes, wigs, and accessories

• Made a setup for good looking backgrounds for photography purposes
  
• Took some nice photoshoots, particularly with Kiran
• Ordered and then paid off a layaway for a Withdoll Margery

Updates !

- Buying a whole lot of clothes for my incomming MSD-sized girl (which I've been waiting for almost four months now, I want her to come hoooooome T____T) : still a few to buy, but her wardrobe only need just a few more "essential" pieces, after that it'll be all good -> didn't change, she really needs more clothes. -> It's better now, even though I still have a few things that I want to buy her, but shr has the essentials ! So I'd say this goal is accomplished !
- The Yael Project : Buying a unoa sist fp and a body for my incomming unoa sist winking head -> I've bought the faceplate and will be buying a body before next week. -> DONE, he's home
- Making more and more wigs ! I'd love to start commissions if I'm skilled enough^^ -> I've started commissions, yaaay ! And I'm now making alpaca wigs, too^^ -> SUCCESS !
- And I dream to be able to get an artist doll, but I know it's not likely to happen >< -> actually it could... Maybe not this year, but next year it could be possible !

So, hurray ! I've completed my main goals, and we're only in october, yay !
