It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. What are your doll plans for 2015?

Dec 24, 2014

    1. - Glass eyes for everyone. Although finding the right shade for two of my dolls will be a challenge, since I want a very close match for their current default acrylic eyes.
      - Repairing and refurbishing a 35-year-old dollhouse for my PukiPuki.
      - Improving my photography skills.
      - Improving my sewing skills. I'm still not where I want to be as far as making outfits goes.
      - Maybe adding a boy or two to my current all-female BJD family?

    2. Ummm, buy less dolls?

Nah... I know better than to try to do that. If they're meant to come, they're meant to come. On a more practical note, I'd like to get the doll stuff (clothes, props, accessories) better organized; photostories done; photostories website updated; some clothes made. Pretty much what I start out vowing each New Year's. :sweat

    3. 01. Finish the two merpukis I currently have. They need new faceups, new tail blushing, new eyes, their accessories, and their display area. I may attempt the tail blushing myself if I work up the courage! (And scrounge up the supplies.)
      02. Get a faceplate for the incoming merpuki. I have a WTB thread up already, so now I just get to wait.
      03. No new dolls, unless I spot one of the LEs on my list. None of my at-home dolls are finished yet, so I want to get as many of them finished off before I add to the collection- but being unemployed at the moment, finishing them off is going to take some time.

Surprisingly, that's it for the moment! I'll add new goals as I get these crossed off, though I suspect they'll take some time.

    4. Don't buy any more dolls +1
      try to make some clothes

    5. I love to find a Lati White this year. I want a tanned girl.

    6. My plans for 2015 include:

-Bringing home an Iplehouse SID boy
      -Bringing home an Iplehouse Tatiana
-Collecting more clothes for my current SD girl and the others I want to bring home
-Selling some non BJD dollies so that I can save up for my wishlist
-Working on sewing some clothes for my SD girl
-Getting a better camera so I can practice some photography

Here's hoping that all of this will happen, and best wishes to everyone else! :D

    7. 2015 Plans
Hopefully getting a Volks Tsunenaga Hasekura
Hopefully getting a LM Vampire Gloomy Enrill
      Getting better at photography
Be able to make more stuff for my dolls ^ ^

    8. In 2015 I want to have in my family lots of bjds.
      I have 3 on layaway.
      A peakswoods Dlight
      A minifee Celine
      and an April story Stella
I also want to buy a minifee Mirwen and possibly a Chloe mod.
I want to find a perfect doll for my boy character. It is really difficult because I cant find an elegant, mature and
mysterious sculpt for an msd doll. I think of a Migidoll sun or Iplehouse jid Kyle.
I also want to buy a Spiritdoll Snowdrop head and loongsoul girl body to make a hybrid.
The truth is that I am really afraid about the SD dolls I have on layaway, I am scared that they will be too big because I always had small dolls.
But I really love their sculpts and I am developing their characters.
What else? If my SD dolls work out I want to buy a boy SD and a Feeple60 doll.Thats all!!! I have so many plans!
I hope that everything works out!
I wish you a happy dolly next year too!!!!

    9. Ok Dolly New Years Resalutions ;

      1. Don't go to the iplehouse website.
      2. Resist perusing the DoA marketplace.
      3. Don't go to the iplehouse website.

If any of he above last longer than 12.30 on the 1.1.15 then there really has been a miracle!

    10. - Send Troy to a face up artist
      - Buy Mystic Kids Francis or make a good start saving for Ringdoll Spencer
      - Build a room for Troy
      - Make a good start on the 'medieval fantasy' wardrobe
      - Get some more clothes for my boys, They need it.

Thats it I think... Those are my definite plans.

    11. I would like to design some patterns for my tiny BJD. She really needs more clothing and there isn't much out there to buy for her.

    12. I am new to Den of Angels; I only joined a few weeks ago. At that time, I would have said that my plan was to find a used BJD that I could afford. I was interested in a more realistic-looking fully posable doll.

Now, after wandering through the many discussions and galleries, I realize how very little I knew about BJDs. I was completely unaware of the variety available.

So, here are my plans for 2015:

      1. Continue research so that I can decide on a doll.
      2. Improve my skills in photography, which are currently very limited.
      3. Better organize all the fabric and materials that I have stored here and there.

      Happy New Year!

    13. Looking forward to accomplish this small list on 2015:

      1. Buy one complete doll from Mystic Kids, I was thinking about Eleanor.
      2. Get some extra clothes in goth lolita style and victorian 19th century.
      3. Get some props, chairs, umbrella, etc. (I'm startin to build a house for them XD)

    14. 1. Get a Narin boy
      2. Get a Narin boy
      3. Get a Narin boy!!!!!

This will be possible only if the creator decides to sell him...he's been out of stock for awhile now :( other than that, all my dolls are complete so I have nothing else on my waiting-to-do-list.

    15. *get Nunkui, a tan supia Lina
      *get an spiritdoll herber
*get a better camera and improve my photograph skills
      *finish Nicola's room
*get everyone new clothes and shoes

First is the camera and i think i could buy Nunkui in the summer, i hope so

    16. - Get my last doll (hopefully) a F60 Chloe (she'll be ordered tonight but she'll be showing up in 2015)
      - Get Sweets a new faceup
      - Learn to sew for my girls
      - Get better eyes for Sweets
      - Learn to make Alpaca Wigs
      - Start a YouTube channel for my dolls *
      - Stay off the DoA marketplace

That's about it I think. Over the past year I've acquired 6 dolls... I think it's time to slow down and focus on the ones I have because I'm getting a little overwhelmed by resin.
With that being said the plans are not set in stone, but it's what I'm aiming for!
I hope 2015 brings happiness for everyone!
      ^_^

    17. - save money for incoming dolls inc. customs fees, face up, wigs and clothes (!)
      - dont buy any more (and potentially sell incoming doll chateau..)
      - practice and make more alpaca wigs
      - find the perfect dark "chocolate" resin msd girl to save for
      - begin to practice face-upping

    19. Oooh boy, another new year already?! How can that be when so much of 2014's list is still left unfinished? XD

I'm hoping this year will be all about working on the dolls I have now rather than buying anymore. I'm actually pretty happy with the group I have at home now, mostly. I feel a bit overwhelmed by the number but can't stand the thought of parting with any of them. Yet there are still a few that I wouldn't mind bringing home at some point...

Buying (Hopefully None! But if any of these happen to fall into my lap at the right time I wouldn't say no...)

      * Body for Minifee Soony Elf (will happen this year when the right event comes around; I hate floating heads)
      * Delf Shiwoo in NS
      * FM60 Miyu in WS
      * Minifee New Family in NS
      * Minifee Risse in? (this is a slim chance, it's mostly because I think she has a lot of potential and I'd like to see what I can do with her)
      * Dollfie Dream Lucy (either version)

      Doll Maintenance

      * New Faceups for: F60 Lishe, F60 Celine, Unoa Lusis, Minifee Soony Elf (all currently blank), Minifee Shushu and Minifee Mirwen (both needing fresh faceups), and will also need to do first faceups for Minifee Rena and Rheia who should be arriving any week now
      * Manicures and Pedicures for: F60 Celine, F60 Lishe, Delf Arwen, all Minifee (4 @ home, 2 arriving soon)
      * Restring: FM60 Rona, F60 El, Minifee Mirwen, Minifee Nanuri 13
      * Tattoos for SDF Abadon, F60 El, F60 Celine and possibly others...
      * Attempt to make alpaca wigs for my MSDs. Maybe XD
      * Start my de-yellowing project for my Delf Moon head on much newer F60 body - remove default faceup, de-yellow head/blush pink, and give him a new faceup

      Miscellaneous

      * Sew more! Like... lots more. I barely had the time for any sewing this year and I miss it terribly.
      * Practice painting eyelashes and brows on my faceups instead of relying on the unpredictable water colour pencil. I did manage to find some (hopefully) perfect brushes for this endeavor.
      * Decide once and for all if I'm going to actually assign characters and stories for my dolls or if I'll just settle on picking names and basic personalities for them and have them be my chameleons. Every time I think I've settled on a story line/setting, I start to panic and feel that I've "trapped" my dolls into one look... like if I dress them modern for their story then I can't have them dress fantasy, or steampunk, or historical...
      * In-spite of the above, I do like the idea of having only one pair of eyes and one or two wigs (same-ish colour, different style) for each doll. More than that takes up too much space! So need to decide on that, but really only have 3-4 who have yet to settle.
      * Major spring-cleaning. I want to be ruthless this year in moving on all the extra wigs and eyes etc. I've accumulated over the years and have held onto because they might be perfect for some future unknown doll.
      * Redoing my doll display and storage into something more practical - acquire storage and shelving and doll stands for each of the dolls, preferably starting with the big 'uns.
      * More photography and better photography is always an on-going goal
      * Spend more time getting to know my fellow doll lovers!

      *phew*

That's a long list. If I manage to accomplish even half of that this year I'll consider it a success :)

    20. I want to start up my collection with an IPlehouse Tania :P
