1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What are your doll plans for 2015?

Dec 24, 2014

    1. My plan for 2015 is to try not to buy any new dolls... I doubt I'll be able to pull that off though lol.

    2. Continue to love my dolls
Continue to go to KY meets
      Continue to improve at faceups

      Learn to make patters

Try to make some simple clothes for my dolls

      Try to make furniture
Try to make one room box for the big boys

Buy a pair or two of different eyes for Pip
Buy a pair or two of shoes for the dolls
Find the 'right' wig for Jeremy, and buy it

      Maybe pick a tiny girl

Save for the Saint Louis BJD convention trip
      Go to the stlbjd con
      Enjoy the stlbjd con

    3. Get Laurel Crown chair
      Get Senior Delf body
Get Iplehouse Chris on SID woman body.

      Sew more.

    4. Get Lilycat Lyse
Twigling (I don't know yet...but there will be something)
      Some EID from Iplehouse.
And REALLY sell the clothes I make. I need to pay for these dolls somehow.

    5. I see a lot of plans for Iplehouse dolls! ;3; Good choices guys, ditto.

To get my fiance his first doll
To get my first new doll in a couple years
And to get my butt moving and try my hand at face-ups finally!

    6. Souldoll boy & Crobidoll boy yay :D

    7. My plans for 2015
      1. no new dolls.
      2. don't peruse the marketplace or look on ebay or look at the various groups I belong to that sell bjd's.
      3. no new dolls.
      4. sew more clothes for my dolls and not just for other people's dolls.
      5. try and make an alpaca wig.
      6. practice photographing my dolls, I need to improve.
      7. find shoes for my poor barefoot Minifee's.
      8. buy new wigs for the boys.
      9. sell all the wigs that I have brought in 2014 that either don't fit, don't look like the photo or just look wrong on the boys.
      10. try and forget the Bluefairy Olive boy on the marketplace that has been calling to me for the last 3 months (Remember no.1 and 3)

I think that is enough to keep me going for the new year.

      • Cleanup and MSC my newest BJDs
      • Do face ups for blank BJDs
      • Sharpen face up of old BJDs
      • Lookup non-Normal Skin and Non-white skin BJDs only
      • Concentrate on making BJD clothes and learn to use sewing machine :sweat
      • Don't buy BJDs :...(
      • Have fun :dance

    8. Well I have a Dollzone Freddy girl on layaway with one payment left so I plan to pay her off. Then she'll need a faceup, wig, eyes... clothes... everything.

I plan to get my Ling some boots and stockings and maybe find her forever wig and she'll actually be completed.

Then my husband surprised me with a minifee Chloe for Christmas! So she will be getting a faceup as soon as I can figure out who she's going to be. She's sitting blank and naked with an oversize wig at the moment...

So mainly my doll plans consist of a helluva Lorraine shopping for these three!

    9. I enjoy doing this every single year. I find it really helps me to focus my ideas and stay on track.:thumbup

      1. (a) Make an outfit every month (entirely out of cute socks!) to build up my gaming characters' wardrobes. And (b) document this endeavor in the workshop forum here on DoA.
      2. Make some decisions about how to decorate a Heroes of Might and Magic display area and expand the one for my Pokemon character as well. I really need to get these both completed by the end of the year.
      3. Make my crew some Tibetan mohair wigs.
      4. Update the conservatory display area for Bohemia Rose (Dollzone Anson.) It needs some re-vamping since her character has grown so much this year.
      5. Join some themed sewing project threads here on DoA to build up Angora and Bohemia Rose's wardrobes.
      6. Finally shell my 2nd beloved gaming character, Shandre (choose a company and a sculpt...and try to get her home and completed before the end of the year.)
      7. Since she's a Beastmaster, get Shandre her own companion fantasy animal by Creatures of Nat (oh yes, definitely!)
      8. Fall in love with something small enough to inhabit my fabulous fairy-house and bring them home.
      9. Maybe shell my final (yet oldest) gaming character, Shalimar...if I can come up with a good way to represent her unique character.
      10. Keep hunting for that elusive Pipos Curo I've been wanting to replace for years (why, oh why did I ever sell her?):doh
      11. I'm going to allow myself to add one final doll this year...something very special I've been lusting after for years (one of those limited or discontinued dolls I just couldn't manage to get in time.) There's quite a few of them. I'm not sure which one yet...it all depends on what I can find in the secondary marketplace here on DoA.

Wow...a lot of lofty goals for this year! Definitely one of my most ambitious game plans to date.:sweat

    10. Alright, let's see...
Definite (:apig: <== Already been emptied for this to happen XD):
      1. Receive first doll and his clothes (<== Edit: Done!)
      2. Get a faceup (and maybe body blushing) for aforementioned first doll
      3. Take pictures of doll!

And not very likely but hopefully(:clover):
      Get him a friend?
      And maybe some more clothes?

    11. Well since I am a newbie:
      1. Restring my Elf Mirodoll's and add jointed hands to my Thunder elf.
      2. Do face ups and body blushing on my new Mirodolls. Need lots of practice.
      3. Draft patterns and make outfits for my snow-elves.
      4. Waiting on eyes and wigs for my new dolls.
      5. Only plan on getting one more body for spare Mika head and small chest this year. Need to practice modding.

Would love to get Nobility emotional body with wolf man head. Even just the head, but that is Wishlist.

    12. Probably the first thing I'd like to do is buy some wigs in Leekeworld's limited Bright Ivory color before the order window closes. It looks like the perfect very white blonde color for my boys. Just need to decide on the styles and whether I want to order duplicates.

I'm hoping to get Ilari's body back from being modded sometimes soonish. It will be nice to have him as himself again, since he's been on a temporary girl body for months now. At that point I'd like to sell the body he's on and a bunch of other doll things I've accumulated over the years and don't plan to do anything with.

Other than that... not much. Emily's faceup is chipped and could be restored. She also needs shoes. I don't really plan to buy any dolls this year, but if I see someone cute I'm sure I'd easily change my mind. So we'll see. ^^

    13. My doll goals:

Finish paying off my layaway replacing my Hinata.

      Bring home:
      DollChateau Kevin
      DollChateau Isabel
Body for the PKF Halloween event faceplate
Body for the MNF Soony head
      Body for the LTF faceplate

New faceups for some of the dolls

      Hopefully:

Tenshi bodies for the rest of my Yos.

      Another SDGr Okita
      YoSD White Rabbit

    14. I want to buy my dirst BJD this year!! And then hopefully by march save up enough for a friend for her ^^

I also want to sew plenty of clothes and go to a doll meet in the summer!!

    15. In 2015 my goals are:
      - sew more and open my little doll clothes store
      - get face ups done on 5 of my dolls. @_@
      - save for a Lati sunny and minifee moe ante tan <3
      - build or buy a massive doll couch. I want them to have their own special little space.

      And the more important:
      - survive fairyland events. Because, really, they destroy my savings account.

    16. Definitely sending my blank dolls out for faceups and body blushing! And design clothes for them. And to try not to buy any dolls that aren't already on my wishlist.

    17. want in 2015: souldoll onulharu and yeon-bee, dollzone ivy and iris

definite: magic mirror - siobhan and sinéad

    18. I always write these every year, and they always end up changing. I'm so bad at long-term planning, haha. ><

The big change is that in 2015, I'm [finally] graduating college, so I will have a full-time job! However, I'm also living on my own now, so lots of expenses that need to be paid before dolls.

Let's see.... Stuff that's probably going to happen for sure:

      1. Receive the doll head I ordered. Funny story, I got sent the wrong one back in November and in the time it took to sort it all out, she'll be arriving in 2015.
      2. Send her out for a face-up (artist yet to be found...) once resin samples arrive from the company I wish to get her body from. I wasn't sure about two skin tones so I'll have to see which matches the best and send them on to the artist for reference.
      3. Order new eyes, because I'm entirely certain that the ones I ordered are waaayyyyy too small for her (since they were a bit too small in the wrong head, which has smaller eyes)

Stuff that I'd like to see happen eventually:

      4. Order her a body! The sculptor said he's working on an updated version of that body, to be released some time in the spring or the summer, which would work out perfectly with my graduation
      5. Make the clothes! No one makes the kinds of clothes I need for her, so it's all up to me.
      6. Make Peppermint, my other doll, some in-character clothes. This has been on my to-do list for a number of years now. >.>
      7. Take photos. Again.

Stuff that I'd like to see happen, but that depends on circumstances:

      8. Buy a buuuuunch of dolls. Iplehouse Chris head + the muscular female body from IoS that they're currently working on, SID Aurora in Light Brown, and a WS EID Doria. I'd also like to pick up an Elfdoll Rita (second-hand now, since she's been discontinued...) and get her either a Granado or an Angelsdoll Massive body (the latter also on the MP since the company's MIA). I'd love to get some handsome boy dolls in there too, but I can't seem to find any to my liking. D:
      9. Make them all clothes! Uniforms and space suits galore.

    19. in 2015 :

      - no new doll except those already ordered :sweat
      - pamper my dolls with a make up or tattoo or cloths/bag or pets/teddy bear...
      - take more pictures
