What are your doll plans for 2015?

I've got a wedding to plan so everything will have to take a backseat to that. However, I plan to make a few dolly purchases at the beginning of the year.

Dolls
1. Tan Skin Fairyland Minifee Rix
2. Sugarable Nagas. Seriously considering getting a pair. I love them so much.
3. A body for Seven. (M-line hybrid with cutie bust)
4. If possible a SD boy. I'm looking at a Luts Carmine..Well see.

Other plans
1. Get all my doll stuff organized. I have clothes and fabric everywhere.
2. Sew!! I really need to catch up on my sewing. I have so many outfits planned but have fallen behind.
3. Faceups for anyone who needs them. All incoming dolls will be coming blank. I also have 4 dolls waiting. I need nice weather first.
4. Shoes, eyes, wigs!! Just about everyone can use new shoes. Everyone is pretty set with eyes and wigs. Just need to make sure the incoming dolls have everything they need.
5. Repair the hairline crack in Aria's arm. I've pretty much stopped playing with her so I don't actually damage her. It breaks my heart because she's a favorite.
6. Possibly do an eye opening mod on my Miyu sleeping head.
7. Find a nice display cabinet thing to set up rooms for my dolls.

 

My doll-plans are:

- Wait for Angell-studio to deliver the doll-head I ordered.
- Wait from resin samples from Doll Legend.
- Pay off my 5-month layaway for a doll body.

- Save up for a AS Mix-black Head (and maybe Yandi)

- Order two more cans of MSC for face ups.
- order a long brown wig.
- make a wig
- Upholster a 1/3 arm chair

My funds are extremely limited this year, so I have to be sure that I spread my purchases through out the year.
Most of it is a lot of waiting, I am waiting to see if Doll Legend will come up with a 65cm male body.

 

Dolls-
Getting my Lyndon head a body.
Buying dolls for at-least three of my oc's!
Getting all of them faceups!

Other-
Expand my dolly space.
Make some doll sized furniture.
Getting faceup supplies.
Making enough money to not having to worry about buying dolls!

No. But maybe a few.

1- Pay off layaways!!
2- Buy? Moon and Bloon (or maybe just Bloon, still not sure on Moon) from Nefer Kane.
3- Save for nice clothes and shoes, and wigs?
4- Restring the two dolls what need restringing.
5- Bodies for my fl--HAHAHAHHA! Can't get that out with a straight face! Bodies for my two floating heads?!?! Not unless I win the lottery...
6- Stop buying more dolls! Pfffffffffftttttt.

My plans are:

1. To buy my existing dolls more clothes and shoes and wigs
2. Organize said clothes and shoes and wigs
3. Buy a 65~70 cm male doll for one of my girls
4. MOAR clothes and shoes and wigs

 

1. Get a body for the DZ Helen head I have. Ordering from Mirodoll as soon as I can make myself.
2.Get a faceup for my DZ Helen head
3. Get a wig, clothes and shoes for Raven (DZ Helen)
4. Get a bass guitar for Raven
5. Maybe get a new faceup for Danifae (RS Ju)
6. Build Zoey's (IMPL Dorisy) drum set
7. Attempt to stop buying new dolls and concentrate on the ones I have in an effort to save money and get the hell out of my dad's house.

2015 will be a very conservative year for me in terms of new doll purchases. I have an Impldoll Idol Azalea on a long layaway--- which I only started because she's limited and I didn't want to miss out on her--- and I will be paying that off in the coming year. I also just put a deposit down on a layaway for an Islanddoll head, and I'll be paying that off in the coming year as well. Other than that, no new resin for 2015. My list of planned purchases is getting very close to finished, and I'm going to be pacing myself and spacing those last few purchases out over the next couple of years.
My overall goal for 2015 is to have all the dolls I currently own/have incoming put together and finished by the end of the year, with their faceups/wigs/eyes/styling the way I want it for each of them. This won't be too hard, since several of them are already finished and the ones that aren't are not far off. Other than that I'll be working on the million and one sewing and craft projects I have plans and ideas for--- way too many to list here!

 

What are my doll plans for 2015?

Well, things are constantly changing, but these are what I'd like to get done...
1. Get my two newest dolls face ups (Iplehouse Bono and Coco)
2. Get my office display case rewired and reorganized for my BJD collection
3. Make special OOAK outfits for Iplehouse Owen, Leona, and Soa
4. Make costumes and props for, and then photograph "the Art Lesson", which I've been wanting to do for two years now.
5. Sculpt an old man head to go on one of my boy doll's body, so i can have a Santa for pictures next Christmas. He'll need a 'fat suit' and clothes too.
6. Make fancy Rococo costumes for Butterfly Narae and Narin so she can be the Queen of the Night's daughter, and he be her beloved.
7. Make some new Renaissance costumes, and finally make some dark fairies with dragon wings.
8. Get my Iplehouse Elin and Efreet repainted

 

My dolly plans for 2015 are pretty simple!
As soon as my Vampire Miho head arrives at the 15th of January, I'll be saving for a FDoll body to go along with it. Then there's just tons of clothes needed. I also really want a partner for my incoming Miho, so with a lot of luck I might be getting one for him. c:

 

My main goals for 2015:
1. Build on my dolls wardrobe and give everyone faceups/fantasy painting
2. Move into a new apartment where I can have my dolls displayed and openly work on doll crafts
3. Pay off my new layaways from Christmas 2014
4. Finish purchasing the human dolls on my wishlist and 3 bodies for floating heads

This is the first time in 7 years of the hobby that the end of my wish list is in sight!

 

My plans:

Complete my Tony Stark (head with face-up, body with arc reactor, and outfit)
Complete my Frost Giant Loki (body + head, in the right color!)
Complete my Tom Hiddleston (give his body a head and Henry V outfit)
Complete my Thor (needs everything doing still)

Mkay... not making a big list right now (still sorting out 2014's 'not planed but here anyhow' stuff). But will start 'making' my list.

1. DECIDE what my twins/triplets will be shelled in! Not sure anymore of my original plans size OR company wise anymore O_o.
2. Find something to keep all my 'weapons' in that is safe AND fairly easily accessible. (display case?)
3. Find something to work as a 'newborn' with my EID's (doesn't even have to be a proper bjd!).
4. Get backdrops or at least figure out a decent place to set up in my house for pics (lighting would be a nice bonus here ><)

 

I actually accomplished all but two of my 2014 goals, surprisingly. So, here is my 2015 doll plans list:

1. Get bodies for Zach (IMPL Idol Gnaeus), Aenon (RS Long) and Scarlett (Migidoll Jean)
2. Faceups for Aubrey (IMPL Tony), Aenon, Scarlett, Remi (RS Wu), Kiva (RS Yu) and Ruby (RS Bao)
3. Finally find the right wig for Gabriel (IMPL Gnaeus), and get wigs for Kiva and Scarlett
4. Go to AnimeNorth / DollNorth and also the Moncton Doll Show
5. Bring home Dollmore Narsha and IslandDoll Crystal, but not until after AnimeNorth and the Moncton Doll Show
6. Take enough decent and theme-appropriate photos to complete a 2016 BJD calendar
7. Take portraits and post character biographies of my whole crew on flickr
8. Make a real effort to sell dolls that need new homes
9. Finish Reid's (Souldoll Vito Lester) body mods and finish modding his wheelchair
10. Finish Liam's (Lumedoll Blaze) "apartment" room box

 

I am planning to thin the herd a little and play with the dolls I have. I have enough unstarted or unfinished projects to last for the entire year of 2015 and maybe beyond. I have three small dolls on my wishlist and if they appear for sale, I will probably buy them, but I really, really need to stop buying.

 

I am literally finishing the layaway on my dream Tenshi tomorrow!! I got twice as much holiday money as expected so I won't even have to dip into my paycheck like I thought I was going to, so there is going to be some extra dolly clothing purchases in the upcoming new year as well.

The plans:
Get my Tenshi home and figure out just who my new dolly friend is.
Get said new doll all set up with clothes. (I am probably keeping the wig it's coming with and definitely keeping the eyes.)
Finish paying for Avery's face-up and body work.
Take so many photos. I've signed up for a picture a week doll challenge on tumblr, so we'll see.

Thoughts on the back burner:
I got a YoSD sized food kit for the holiday and if I find a reasonably priced YoSD or similar sized doll on the second hand market, I might see about getting one.

I'm trying to cut back on getting dolls for now because I've gotten two since the summer and can't really afford to be doing regular layaways. Of course, a good deal on the marketplace is probably going to smash this plan right to pieces.

 

- Buy accessories for incoming doll
- Receive and work on my first tiny
- "Finish" the dolls at home
- Buy and install silicone kips
- Buy lots of accessories
- Get a camera
- Maybe shell Yucca
- Hopefully no more dolls after that;;;;

 

I've been on a doll break for a long time, so my #1 goal is to get back into the community. I think it'll be fun to catch up and see what I've missed. Aside from that, in 2015 I need to:

1. Finally sell the DollZone and Souldoll MSDs in my collection.
2. Sell the various wigs, eyes, and clothes which I've never used.
3. Maybe - maybe - buy another Lati Yellow.

 

I've been out if the hobby for a year and a half or so since starting college. Now that I'm settled, I'm coming back at full force! I just got my first Tiny, a Soom Bygg, and I am ready to roll with doll plans.

-Expand my dolls' wardrobes by at least one outfit each.
-Get fantasy parts blushing for my Heliot and my Bygg.
-Get started on my first character doll(as in a character that is not one if my OCs).
-Take my dolls out more.
-Take more photos.
-Save up to shell out more if my OCs.

 

I'm hopefully going to Korea for a year to teach English in March, so I'm hoping this turns out to be a big BJD year for me too! XD I want to visit all the BJD cafes and shops, and buy ALL THE THINGS and just do more with it this year! Now, I'm sure I won't get half of this list done by 2016, haha, but dream big or not at all I say. We'll see what I manage!
