1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Whee~ Another one for Rain from Art-Tong! ^^ He's a beautiful boy!

    2. I am totally in love with Kiss from Dollkot, and Latidoll's Lonnie and Miel~

    3. I love Dollstown's girls and Kiss, from Dollkot. :D

    4. I'm just waiting to hear back on getting my Limhwa...
will post details once I get all the info and my girl

sorry, I can't stop  about this!

And also love the Art Tong~Doll in Mind dolls and kitty, can't wait for their site to open.

And Anu, Anu, Anu, what an artist! I really hope that she has more in store once the Bermann series is done. I know he isn't really a new doll, but she has taken him a step further than just about anything I have seen.

Now if I could just find someone to make a doll that makes me lucky and win the lotto, everything will be peachy!

edited to add Art Tong~Doll in Mind website www.dim.com found this posted elsewhere, sorry I can't remember who posted it. Has access to English website, but no dolls just yet. Read that Rain was a limited item, but they may release more in the future.

    5. I'm definitely smitten with the Dollstown dolls, and I really adore the GyuXa heads. I'm still head over heels with the Phantomdolls, even though I found that they just didn't "fit" with my doll family right now. I'll definitely get more Phantomdolls down the line, though, so that "Pan & Epi" can have bodies again!

You can find the phantomdolls at http://phantomdoll.com/main.html

    6. Ah, I remember the store it is Doll in Mind

      Well, answering:
Actually to me it is a matter of taste. Well... I love her mouth... but actually her whole face is pretty to me...

I dunno... how can I explain? Actually when I like something I don't really know why. I just like it ^^'
I can't explain why I like Lacrimosa, or why I like writing, why I like cherrys and strawberrys and why I like my friend Priscila so much - I just like. I just look and feel it is pretty, or hear and enjoy... something of the heart that the mind could never explain.....
      Dunno ^^''

      Kisses

      Cacau

EDIT: RAAAIN! Yeah! That's his name! Rain from Doll in Mind... he has such a mean loook!

    7. For me, it's the fact that the Dollstown dolls are very "different" than other sculpts, and they're different in unusual ways. Dollstown heads seem to celebrate what's uniquely human and individual about us all. We don't all have the pert and perfect noses and lips that we revere on Volks and Luts sculpts, and some of us might have larger than average eyes or hands, and it's really nice to see that individuality mirrored in a doll.

The Dollstown dolls are endearing to me because they're "imperfect" in that they exhibit imperfections we might see in ourselves, and in seeing those imperfections mirrored, it becomes easier to see our own imperfections for what they are--the things that make each and every one of us unique.

    8. Random comment:
Cacau: *poits to Estella* Look mommy
      Mom: Hm...
      Cacau: So?
      Mom: She looks saaad! T_______T
      Cacau: Distracted maybe?
Mom: No... looks like she is living unhapply!
Cacau: Then I might bring her home and make her happy!
Mom: o.O' - changed my mind, I could almost see an smile there!

    9. Latidolls! I love Renia, but all of them are cute. I hope they make even more dolls!

    10. I second Latidoll. Ronnie and Renia are two little cuties (I'm not too fond of the tines, though. But they are very cute too :chibi )

    11. Here's another vote for Dollstown. I love the realness of the dolls and the fact that their faces express other feelings besides happiness.

Art Tong/Doll in Mind is another new favorite.

    12. Love Kiss from Dolkot! <3

      And Latidoll's Lonnie and Lea..

    13. Dollstown.....and Soul Doll, Angel Region..so far.

    14. yeah i have two and plan to get another bandi. they seem more alive to me, so the dollstown experience is so good,

otherwise,,, kiss of dolkot, he is mystic too it think,,, its nice when a doll creeps me out in a good way like they are living.

and i want all my dolls to have dollstown bodies,,,, SO great.

    15. Mine is and always will be, DoD.

    16. They're not a new company.

But they make some nice looking pictures. ^^

      Well, I'm a guy...but if I were a girl, I sure would mind looking like Estella !!!!

BTW: Another doll co. I love..SOOM ! I actually am debating buying a SOOM doll, and getting an extra Estella head from Dollstown, as Dollstown is discontinuing the type A body for a while, and I really like the low hip joint on the SOOM doll bodies...

    18. This has been an interesting thread and I've been learning about new dolls!! Does anyone have a direct link to Rain of Art-Tong. I went out to that website and wandered around and never could figure out which one was Rain? Help . . .

and the Dollstown at least has a English section. Sp I need to learn more about some of the interesting new companies suggested here. A favorite of mine is Anu's Tensiya Hounds and Bermanns . . . love them!!
