1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What did you do when you got the wrong size of something? (wigs, clothes, etc)

Dec 18, 2013

    1. Usually I can find a doll that fits as I have MSD and SD sized dolls, or I can make alterations.

I have taken a few things to swap meets when I lived in London, which was useful.

The only thing I have not been able to use at all is a pair of boots I got for Soah without realising they were for dolls which could wear high heels. She has flat feet so cannot wear them. At one point I thought I would sell them, but found they had got marked whilst in storage, so I still have them. One day I am going to buy a doll which can wear them...

    2. I noticed that plenty of eBay people don't actually write down measurements, only the rough size - like 1/3, 1/4… quite tricky when your doll is 50-55 cm :/
Since it takes ages to send anything back or a get a refund, might as well hang on to the stuff to see if it can be used later, or possibly given to someone, or sold once I get Marketplace access.

    3. I did it when I first got into the hobby. I accidently ordered MSD sized pants and my doll was SD sized! And when I pulled them out, I thought he would be huge! Then I got out the correct size and went OOPS! So I sold off the incorrect size. I was so excited when I was shopping for him I wasn't paying attention when I clicked add to cart.

    4. Use it as an excuse to buy a doll that fits it! :D (not even kidding)
