1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What do you call your collection?

Dec 13, 2012

    1. Mine are usually my kids. Bella and Jaida are my girls and Joel is my buddy. :)

    2. If I'm talking to people outside the hobby/ not my close friends, I say My Art Dolls, so they know I do not have a million bug eyed cherub cheeked beesting lipped Bo Peep clones staring at me like axe murderers all over my house. Yes, traditional western collector dolls usually creep me the heck out.
      Almost everyone has seen an Art Doll at a craft show or online, so they then have a frame of reference and understand that my dolls are one of a kind art pieces.

    3. My Kids, usually. And then people stare at me and go "OAO!!?!? YOU HAVE KIDS??!?" which is always vaguely hilarious.

    4. My dolls or my boys (I don't have a girl... yet)
      In portuguese I call them "meus meninos" (:

    5. >.< I only have one bjd so i just include him with my dolls and call them "my dolls" it's not original but it works :P when I get more BJDs I might have better name for just them, which would be nice so people will not mistake them for cheaper dolls.

    6. My collection?
      "Ava's harem"
      Because that's what they are~~
      ... heck, even her brother is in it.

    7. I typically call them "my girls." Though today when talking to a friend about buying them stuff I said "I already got the 'little f-ers' doll stands and belts." lol

    8. ...'Mail order boyfriend'... well it gets a laugh and people don't take my doll so seriously... though I'm sure a few people question my sanity... not that it wasn't questioned before hand. :p

    9. my children/my babies =))

    10. My crew :=)

    11. My buddies lol I dunno it depends. Mostly I refere to them as my original characters. Sure I didn't make the dolls but I did make the backgrounds and their styles.
