1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Same here as OP; only mine was rejected for *both* having posts too close together and *also* for them being spread too far apart. It's very stressful to know how to figure out how to fix that correctly. One or the other would be frustrating but doable, but *both* is a challenge I have no clue how to meet. I'm mentioning this because you and I were discussing it upthread; it's not as simple as hanging out until you hit 40.

    3. When I was about 15 I really wanted a BJD but got scared off by both the prices and not knowing how to actually buy it. Now I'm saving money for a Minifee Karsh, which will take quite a bit. In the meantime I want to get into sewing doll clothes, since that's what got me into the hobby in the first place :whee:

    4. Before I got my doll, I just pined from afar and made a pinterest board of all the different sculpts I liked. I also very briefly looked into making one of my own, but quickly decided against that when I discovered I have no sculpting talent whatsoever.
