Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. What doll size do you consider most "fun" ?

Sep 29, 2013

    1. I really prefer msd size since I can just take them with me and have fun with them.

    2. yosd! in terms of cuteness and props like rement and food miniatures, they have a lot more things to play with.

    3. MSD, definitely! SD is too big for me, I can't handle them. With dolls smaller than MSD I'm afraid I might break or lose them.

    4. I like all dolls between the 16 - 60 cm mark... bigger or smaller are just not my thing. Although in the beginning I probably would have said noting larger than 40 cm... ;)

    5. I like msd's the most, but in general I like dolls with great poseability. I like littlefees because they are so poseable! It's insane! I've been stunned several times because of how extreme poses my littlefees can do! *w*'

    6. I think the pukifee size is the most fun of all the sizes. Just because you can put them in any bag really and people tend to not start as much as when you take big dolls or msd in public.

    7. I think for "fun" I would go with the tinies. 1/6 size and smaller. I love playing with anthros tho. They're usually the ones that I carry around because of convenience. sometimes they're also easier to take pictures of because people don't see them as much. I get really really really conscious whenever people look at my SDs so I try to avoid bringing them unless I'm going with a group.

    8. I currently only have one doll and she's a MSD size. I want an SD so bad right now, but that will definitely have to wait :3

    9. MSD - just the right size for handling for me, not too big and not too small. Also pretty easy to take places.

    10. I think I like SD size dolls the best. I find that SD sculpts are the most detailed and most beautiful, simply because they are larger, and they are the easiest to sew for. Although finding props is a challenge.

    11. Pukifee size! Big enough to sew for and small enough to go anywhere.

    12. I really love my MSD.
I have a 27cm doll, and it's just not the same. All the clothing is too small, and it seems like it will only ever be "cute." Not to say that I don't like him, I just think MSD is much better.
I've never owned an SD, but they seem so big! I've seen people lugging them around at meets, and it looks like such a pain.

    13. I love the SD size so far. I've held a couple of MSDs before, but I don't plan on purchasing anything other then SDs.

    14. Tiny sized are literally fun sized :)

    15. I only have msd right now but my male who will be arriving in the mail soon is sd so I'm really exited to see the difference. :)

    16. I like different sizes for different things. For customization, I love my tinies! They're just so cute, and I can paint and dremel to my heart's content because they come in such a variety of shapes -- all my tinies are non-human.

For taking pictures and making clothes, I think I prefer larger dolls, MSD and SD. I just feel like I can do more with them and they're easier to find accessories and stuff for. Plus, their face-ups are easier since I can see what I'm doing better.

    17. I have dolls of all sizes ranging from 90cm (dollmore glamour model doll) to pukifee's, I think the one I love the most, and have the most of, are yosd's. I just love their size, and the availability of outfits and shoes and cute wigs, I think I have 5 yosd's at this point. I love them all!!

    18. MSD is what I play with most, but I like taking my tinies with me (15cm and below) out to places since they're like pocket companions~

    19. I started out wanting the larger dolls and my first one was 60 cm. But now I find myself being drawn to the smaller ones. I think I like the ones around 10 inches the best. They're a fun size to sew for.

    20. I like msd's more. They're easier to carry and at least for me easier to pose. I do have More SD's though which is better for trying out my ideas and creating cosplay.
